BACKSTORY:
Airi is a proud and ego driven woman born in Nishihara, Okinawa. her mother, Tomoe Higa, a former wrestler, passed down everything she knew down to Airi. From a young age, Airi had a sense of worth from her family’s heritage as most of her family had been wrestlers. Her mother was a pronounced factor in her growing ego to where she looks down on everyone, them being lesser wrestlers than her. She began her wrestling when she turned 18, Airi wrestled in the same brand her mother used to wrestle at. Her mother, who was also a heel before she retired, was an avid supporter of Airi’s brutal and sadistic style of wrestling. Airi let nothing stop her from having her way with her opponent even if it meant ignoring the rule book. Airi however, has a short temper. She is very sensitive about her image, resorting to anger whenever anyone challenges it or even questions it. When she loses to a lesser wrestler, she gets revenge and attacks them when they least expect it.
Why LAW?
It's quite simple. Airi chose to sign with LAW because it offered her exactly what she wanted. LAW is filled with rising stars and self-proclaimed underdogs. She saw LAW not just as a promotion but as a hunting ground, a place where she could crush delusions of grandeur and assert her superiority. In her mind, these “lesser wrestlers" need a reminder of what a real wrestler looked like.
