Strategy: Emerald doesn’t have much of a strategy. She will generally just go with whatever she thinks will make the crowd cheer. This generally corresponds to her going for riskier or flashier moves in the ring. Her general tactic is to wear her opponent down using her size or other assets as an advantage if she can. If in a bind she has no problem using any trick she can think of to get out of it. After all, the show must go on.

Past/History
Born to a wealthy family as Olivia Erikkson, she had always been fascinated with being on stage. Before getting into magic, Olivia had failed to start a career as an actor. It turned out that women of her size were generally only given very specific roles. While trying to make it big, she took a job as a magician’s assistant for an old magician. It turned out she had a knack for the trade and her employer had a soft spot for her. For 3 years she worked hard to learn everything she could from her new mentor about showmanship and magic. Eventually the magician decided to retire and Olivia became Emerald in order to take over his act. She was a success right off the bat, attracting decent crowds and performing at many private shows.
Having done a particular private show for some Japanese businessmen, she started to gain a small following in Japan. Seeing an opportunity to have a bigger and more outrageous act, as well as make more money, Emerald emigrated to the land of the rising sun where she continues to put on a successful act. Having heard about LAW and its popularity, she joined in order to branch out and entertain more people. She figured she might be able to have a little fun at the same time.
Personality
In the ring Emerald acts like an outspoken performer. She’ll often talk to the crowd or tease her opponent out loud in order to put on a show for the audience. She’s a crowd pleaser and finds an entertaining performance more important than anything. However, Emerald believes winning will give the crowd the best performance possible. When losing she takes it as the other wrestler ruining her act. She doesn’t like it when things aren’t going her way and will often get very whiny until the problem is resolved.
Outside of the ring Emerald is a completely different person. Shedding her on stage persona, she becomes fairly quiet, opening up a bit more only after getting to know someone for a longer time. She doesn’t like talking about her performances and will often talk as if she actually is a different person than the magician on stage, sometimes not even answering to Emerald. While she doesn’t like talking about on stage antics, she is generally quick to pull out a card trick as she finds magic to be a fairly good icebreaker.
Fun Facts
- Since her name was derivative of olive, she figured green would make for an interesting gimmick. Her actual hair color is blonde.
- She tried using an olive themed stage name once but it didn’t quite work out and she won’t touch the things because of it.
- She never participated in the “Saw your assistant in half” trick because she gets claustrophobic.
