A Dinner to Settle Things (for Jalter)
Reiko was a little nervous. Tonight was the night that she and her rival, Candy Cane would finally own up on their little deal from since their first match. Since Candy had won their last encounter, a rather brutal street fight that Reiko lost their tie breaker in convincing fashion. Reiko couldn't help but admit that she wasn't able to beat the Canadian Rocker at their best. She was waiting at the station dressed in casual clothing, a little bit thicker this time around as the summer heat was ending and hints of autumn cool was arriving.
A light jacket, there was no reason for anything thicker otherwise Reiko would be sweating and she didn't want that embarrassment, was what she wore along with her white tank top and black short shorts. It was simple, she didn't think that Candy was going to make much fun about her fashion sense as she looked at her phone, seeing just how much longer it'd be before their actual meet up time.

Re: A Dinner to Settle Things (for Jalter)
Candy Cane walked down the street as she herself was feeling rather nervous about tonight as well...sure she had won the little tie breaker between her and Reiko, yet. She had to admit that things had gotten a bit awkward and weird between the two of them at times, something that caused Candy Cane to feel a bit embarrassed right now. Still, it wasn't a date or anything....right?
The redhead wasn't all too dressed up, or at least so she thought. She wore a pair of black cut off jeans shorts, long thigh high socks, stripped white and black. A pair of heavy duty biker boots. A tank top with one big white skull in the center with a handful of smaller skulls dotted around it. Her hair was let loose tonight. Not in the usual pig tails. She had her usual heart necklace around her neck, leather studded armbands/bracelets decorated her right wrist, as she wore a jeans jacket with rolled up sleeves.
The Canadian walked up to the station, seeing her Japanese rival Candy Cane would walk up to her and raise her right hand up for a quick wave. " Yo, zero. So where you takin' me ?"

Re: A Dinner to Settle Things (for Jalter)
The implications of their dinner was not lost onto Reiko, her nervousness was slowly playing her mind the longer she waited as she was constantly checking her phone as it felt like she was waiting there for about 10 minutes when in actuality not even a minute had past. Looking around the crowd to see if she could see her red headed friend, which shouldn't have been difficult since in the sea of black hairs and brunettes, red would've been an obvious color.
Reiko saw her friend arrive as she waved back, placing her phone into her jacket pocket. Her eyes widened, Candy looked like a different girl with her hair down. "Wow! You look so different with your hair down! You look much more mature!" Reiko blurted up as she looked over her friend again, in marvel at the fashion and style that Candy had. She was a little jealous, Candy had such an exotic feel to her.
But she couldn't get caught up like that. She had a debt to pay. "Come on! This way, I'm going to be treating you to some Yakiniku!" she let out as she began to lead the way past the crowded station and down the street. "You like meat right? And how to grill it right? Don't worry if you don't, the meat is cut thin so it doesn't take too long to cook!"

Becky would tilt her head to the side as Reiko commented on her hair, saying she looked more mature. Candy Cane rolled her eyes on those words and clicked her tongue. " Ugh, thanks...I guess." The punk-rocker spoke out. She knew Reiko well enough now to know that Reiko was a sincere girl, and she probably meant it, in a good way as well. Still, it annoyed her to hear words like mature and the like. She also didn't think of it as a big deal, should it feel weird she had hairbands in her jacket pocket to tie up her hair into their usual hairstyle.
Candy Cane would nod her head as Reiko seemed kind of cheery, the Canadian smiled towards her friend and rival as she gestured for the Punk-rocker to follow her along. " Aight, H-hey...what's Yakeeneku? " Candy Cane spoke out, with quite the broken pronunciation of the word as she followed after the Zero Fighter.
" Meat? Yeah it's fine, grilling it though? Wait are we going to cook our own food? You cheapin' out in me Zero?!" Candy Cane huffed out as she thought that Reiko was trying to weasel her way out of their deal by taking the two of them to such a cheap place that you had to cook your own food there...or something like that.

Re: A Dinner to Settle Things (for Jalter)
Reiko waved her hand to calm down Candy, the place they were going to had a special of 'Endless Meat'. It was a bit pricey but the meat they served was top notch and Reiko knew that she was going to have to eat a lot to put on some muscle...even if she didn't want to but it was necessary for being a wrestler! "No no! I swear! The grilled meat has an amazing taste to it! And we're getting the all you can eat special! So we have all the time in the world with all the meat to go with it!" she exclaimed, she knew that in the West, these kind of things were nonexistent. So in her mind, it was the best place to take Candy.
"The cuts they give are thin, but they're are large! It's well worth the money! Especially when you eat the meat with rice!" Reiko continued to speak about the simple yet delicious cuisine. She was really excited about this since Candy had express that all she knew of Japanese cuisine was sushi when there was so much to enjoy in her culture than just fish!

Re: A Dinner to Settle Things (for Jalter)
Candy Cane followed along, she decided to trust Reiko on this, but all that she was explaining was sounding pretty fishy, though she was willing to play ball and see where Reiko was taking this and what kind of place exactly they were going to. Though Candy Cane's taste leaned more towards sweet things, rather than savory. Still, she didn't mind meat, far from it, it could be quite tasty. A nice...juicy burger for example. Now that was delicious.
" Meat with rice?" She looked on at Reiko and couldn't really understand what her friend was saying, sure, meat with rice wasn't that weird...but the way Reiko had described the cut of meat made it seem weird. At least it seemed as if they weren't going to eat sushi, which was just to the redhead's liking. She didn't want to eat any raw fish, but this seemed to be equally weird.
" This better be good Zero, or I'm gonna have to beat your cute ass down again." Candy Cane teased Reiko as she would nudge her friends shoulder, with the use of her own shoulder.

Re: A Dinner to Settle Things (for Jalter)
Japanese cuisine was definitely different from the rest of the world, Reiko couldn't believe the fact that Westerners didn't consider white rice to be a must with food. Nearly every thing that Reiko wanted to eat could be supplemented with a good hot side of rice to really bring out the simple joys in life. She couldn't believe how people could eat such greasy foods over in the west.
"I'm going to show you how great life is with a side of rice with every meal! Well....mostly every meal." she corrected herself, thinking in her head with with a burger wouldn't have been the greatest thing that could be eaten with rice.
Turning a corner to get off of the main street, the restaurant was there on the side of the connecting street. "There it is! Come on, I'll show you how great it is." Reiko happily exclaimed as she grabbed Candy by the wrist, Candy's comment about her ass completely flew over head as they entered the meat grilling.
It was a nice looking place, nothing too fancy as there were tables with grills sitting in the center of it while other patrons were enjoying their meal as the waitress greeted the two wrestlers and showed them to their table!

Re: A Dinner to Settle Things (for Jalter)
" Uuuuh.....sure...." Candy Cane let out questioningly and confusingly as she walked along with Reiko, the brunette having hurried her step a little bit and forcing Candy Cane to keep pace with her. She didn't mind rice, rice was cheap and it tasted good, but it depended on what kind of food it went along with. Like, maybe with chicken? She would follow along with her friend as she turned a corner.
Walking along with Reiko Hinomoto as she then felt her hand gripped by Reiko and she was pulled along. " H-hey! W-what the hell!?" Candy Cane let out as she was pulled along by Reiko, the Zero fighter seemed like a gleeful child right now as she yanked and pulled the Canadian along. Something that while annoying did bring a smile towards Candy Cane's face. Her friend and rival was very cute when she acted this way....not that she would ever let Reiko know she thought that.
Once they were in the restaurant the smell of grilled meat overwhelmed Candy Cane's senses, she would flare up for a second. Eyes darting around to found the delicious smells location. Though soon they were led to a table where they would be seated across from each other. There was a grill in the center of the table...." Eh?...isn't this a fire hazard or something?" The Canadian would ask as she looked down at the grill and then back up at the Zero Fighter.

Re: A Dinner to Settle Things (for Jalter)
Sitting at the table, Reiko and Candy sat across of each other with the grill between them as the waitress took their order. Reiko gleefully set up to get the all you could eat meat special for her and Candy, with a lot of rice on the side. She was going to enjoy this meal with her new friend and rival. Candy turned the attention to the grill, pointing out her concern of the fact an open fire was going to be lit in front of them.
"Oh don't worry! That's why there's the funnel above!" Reiko pointed up, showing the large open square that lead straight up into a vent that took the smoke out, ready to suction it all out. The waitress fired the grill up, lighting up the coals and started the fire, so that it'd be ready for when the meat came out to be grilled!
"You excited? The best part of it is taking a bite and getting all of that juicy flavor!"

Re: A Dinner to Settle Things (for Jalter)
" Uh...that still doesn't seem safe, but whatever." The Canadian pointed out as she looked up at the large square up in the top. She would roll her eyes a bit and then look back on at Reiko, before the waitress moved in and fired up the grill. Lighting it up and start the grill, something that caused Candy Cane too look on in surprise, she had thought that this would just be a joke or something, but an actual grill in front of her. It helped with the autumn cold and all but it was something that still felt a bit weird to the redhead.
She would look on at Reiko as couldn't help but wonder what Reiko actually said to the waitress. Considering that she didn't exactly speak enough Japanese to keep up with the Zero Fighter talking to the waitress. Sure she had been able to pick up the basics while she was here in LAW, but now she knew she had a long way to go before she could actually hold a real conversation between herself and a native.
" Does hungry count as excited. With how much you are hyping up this food I am expecting it to rock my world." Candy Cane said with a slight smile escaping it's way to Reiko, as she placed her elbow down on the table and would lean her cheek against her hand.
