L.A.W. - League of Anime Wrestling

It has been a few months since Suzumi Ishikawa has stepped into the ring. The few people that did care assumed she decided to hang up her boots, however the woman was eager to grace those canvas yet again. Was she really not getting sufficient work elsewhere or just that desperate? She didn't raise any objections about the bookers only wanting to fill space on the card and give some vibrant newcomer most of the spotlight.

Equipment all set up, the announcer was ready to burst our their lungs. "The following contest is set for one fall, introducing first from Japan...Suzumi Ishikawa" The man behind the microphone saved the enthusiasm for wrestler #2. Out came from the gorilla position was the ex-Wrestle Angel adopting a little wardrobe change, an orange-white leotard with matching kneeguards and boots, a contrast from her old provocative apron inspired attire.

Her face didn't read someone excited nor dreading failure. Pupils blank as the calm ocean itself. She just simply marched down the aisle, ignoring any snide remarks or hollers, not even trying to captivate the crowd through a wave. Even if she was still in shape and at least put more resistance in her past outing, fans anticipated her anguish. The silver haired woman finished her rather mundane entrance by jumping onto the apron and slipping between the middle ropes. Only after walking to her assigned territory Suzumi looked mobile, hopping in one place to ensure her body worked at full capacity. No eyes were on Miss Ishikawa, but instead at the ramp for LAW's newest star.

This was it...the big day...Hollys debut in LAW...with a gimmick everyone knew and loved and she was eager to do it justice...
She looked into the mirror, trembling.
"Co..Come on Ho...Holly...y...you can do it.",she said and gulped.
Given the origin of the ginmick it was quite intresting too see who decided to wear it.
The girl with big glasses trembled in anticipation and nervousness as she straigthend the bandana with red and yellow colors...a colorscheme every wrestling fan was familiar with.
She slapped her cheeks and huffed a few times before exchanging her glasses with some sunglasses and went out to the arena.
A well known theme started to play as the crowd forgot all about the wrestler that had just walked in as all eyes were set on the debut of...
The fanous guitarriff started to play as the one, the only, the immortal...Holly Hogan stepped out to greet the fans who popped at the gimmick!
The big heavyweight had learned every move, every gesture, every expression her big idol made when he entered the ring.
The young woman came in, got right to the ring, pointing at her opponent and shout something that went down with loud crowd.
She entered the ring to a huge pop and when she grabbed her yellow shirt and started to tear, revealing a bra of the same colour under it, she had the crowd i full control?
She threw the piece of fabric away and pointed to Suzumi.
"You are goin' down brother!", she said, totally engulfed in the gimmick she presented.

What beast were they going to let out of this cage today? Big? Ferocious? Both? A rather familiar riff would reverberate across the arena, sending Suzumi into high alert. Why here of all places?

She would be answered by the big boisterous heavyweight coming out onto the stage only for more questions to surface. Did she make a mistake about the family tree or just some cosplayer? Either way Suzumi was definitely not the star attraction today. A brighter sunshine compared to the last bunch and hopefully not a disguise to lure the naive. The Wrestle Angel veteran at least wasn't physically overwhelmed, but still left uncertain if this would be her day of dignity preserved. Not wanting to collapse from stress, she tried to look away from the debuting blonde and instead focus on her pre-match workout.

Suzumi couldn't wait in the shadows forever as the blonde called out the Japanese woman in weird yet somehow fitting manner for her persona. "Brother? I...nevermind" Breaking out of her blank daze temporarily and sounding confused, but before she could continue Suzumi's instincts told her to shut down midway. She instead readied the usual grapple stance and waited for their call to battle.

Holly Hogan, selfproclaimed principle of the Hulkster got in a fighting stance as the bell rang.
DING, DING,DING!
She jumped around, not immediatly attacking Suzumi as she tried to find a weakspot in the other girl.
Both women circled each other, none of them both willing to give themselves away.
"Suzumi was'nt it? Well, I am glad to meet you brother, but don't believe that the Hollster will get beaten at her debut!",
she grinned a wide smile as she jumped forward to lock up with the japanese woman.

At least this woman had the courtesy to acknowledge her, compared to everyone who were on the 'Hollymania' train. The match would begin and Suzumi's pupils were locked on the blonde's movements. So she didn't make a mistake about this being another debutée from a LAW standpoint at least. Not wanting to show vulnerability ability, Suzumi decided to refrain from responding to Holly's outgoing persona for now and just simply nod to the question.

Starting with the usual ritual, the more collected fighter decided to accept the lock-up, trying to gauge Holly's strength and see if she could be overpowered immediately.
