Ichika is tough as nails, stubborn as a mule. She is a wrestler who knows not when to quit. Through grit and sweat, she rises to reach for the impossible. She'll stand when she can, throw her limbs to attack when she can. No less is expected with a Rei. She stands tall in front of any adversary, posing herself as a hero against evil that people could rely on, just like her mother used to be.

But the fame, the recognition of being connected to Asai come at a price. The world lays its eyes on her. And those are judging eyes, at least perceived by the rookie! She has an image to uphold. Standards to reach. Promises that need to be fulfilled. Failures and setbacks don't sit well with her. Thinking that shed never be enough. Questioning her talent and her every step. And every barb thrown at her regarding to her shortcomings easily pierce through her thin exterior and attack her resolve.

Her ways with words are versatile—ready to reply appropriately to what was thrown at her. She's not so kind to forget to be clever. Nor so clever to forget to be kind. Outside the ring, Ichika is your everyday person. She's carefree, friendly, and sometimes teasing. She could blend well with the crowd. She regards the outside world as a haven, away from the duty in the ring and front of the camera.




Asai Rei was a name that reverberated in arenas, corners, streets, and alleys. It echoed long enough in discussions that it was hard to tell which were real or not. Tales gave way to stories, to rumors, and to outright speculations. She was in the hall of fame. She sat on the very peak. Held with as much regard as any renowned wrestler despite her small frame. Overcoming hardships, she built "Rei" into what it is today—a prestigious namesake. A title bearing greatness. One that Ichika carries through her journey in LAW!! But first, we shall venture to how events unfurled to what is present.

Asai Rei's career ended when she got married. Bearing two children, her time with wrestling slowly fizzled until her forced retirement. Tying the knots with one of the most prominent samurai families, the Minamoto clan, didn't help either. She was forbidden to wrestle, let alone train to keep her shape; soon enough, her role became that of a lady of the house, tasked with nothing but greeting visitors and taking care of the kids.

One of the said kids was Ichika. She fell in love with her mother's former career as soon as she could register words to understand Asai's stories. She watched video clips of all Asai's matches and read through magazines that featured Asai as she grew up. And when she decided that this is the journey she'd take, her mother was more than happy to help her. Secretly as it was with their family, Ichika still honed herself well. She had the luxury to train under the one and only Asai Rei! She showed immense talent and potential, learning Asai's ways and developing her own skillset. And thus, poised and groomed to be the rightful successor

Then, fate struck when Ichika was 13. Her mother contracted a fatal disease, killing her in just under a year. Devastated, Ichika swore she'd get to the top just like her mother did. With Asai gone, Ichika saw no reason to stay in her father's residence anymore. She became independent at a young age, working to keep herself afloat on her own. There, Ichika honed herself away from the peering eyes of the conservatives in her family—gaining unmitigated freedom.

She trained and fought whenever and wherever she could. Gyms, dojos, underground circuits and all kinds of shady places to get better, honing not just skills but street smart as well. She then toured the indies as soon as she reached the right age, quickly building a name for herself. Fast-tracked by her mother's legacy in the namesake she carried, her career snowballed to the point she received an invite to join Se7en Entertainment to step on LAW and reclaim what was rightfully Rei's!

- Ichika is a fan of motorbikes. She plans on buying one when her career takes off. But for now, she only makes do with a scooter
