L.A.W. - League of Anime Wrestling

"A newcomer to L.A.W.? This ought to be very interesting..." Long muttered to himself backstage. To be honest, Long would rather fight a veteran than a newcomer because he would have a lot more data to study on his opponent that way. He's basically going in blind, only knowing his opponent's name and a bit of their backstory. "Oh well, at least she is green in the ring, so I have that going for me." The clock on the wall finally struck the hour and he knew that his match is about to start. Long got up and brushed himself off a bit before heading over towards the curtain and awaited his entrance music to hit.

The lights blazed across the arena as Long made his entrance. Holding his book in one hand and flipping the pages with the other, he paid more attention to it than to the crowd. This wasn't out of disrespect, no, but more because he just loved reading and tried to do it at all times. After getting to the base of the ring, Long walked up the steel steps and onto the ring apron. Ducking under the top rope, Long made his way into the center of the ring and waved to the crowd a bit before sinking over towards the corner and leaning against it, still reading his book.

Jay would come out next. Today was her first act of dishing out judgement. And today, Long Shin was the target. Adorned in angelic clothes and armor, the girl would appear at the ramp, eyeing down Long. She’d make a b-line to the ring, reaching the apron and removing her armor to reveal the barely concealing cloth she wore as ring gear, leaving the armor at ringside to be picked up by the crew.
Stepping in the ring, she’d bend between the second and third rope and face Long, giving him an offer. “You have one last chance to beg for forgiveness before I bring justice upon you.” She threatens.

As Jay made her entrance, Long only looked up once at the display before returning back to his book. Once she got into the ring and directed her words towards him was when he signed and placed his book down upon the apron of the ring. "Beg for forgiveness? The only thing I will be begging for is for you to tone it down." He would comment about her display of bringing armor and a sword to the ring, "This is a wrestling match, not a gladiatorial battle." Long would then push his glasses up from the tip of his nose to the bridge to get ready for the contest.

Once both wrestlers were settled, the cage was then lowered down and attached firmly around the ring. The only way to win this match is to climb up and over the cage and land both feet on the ground below. This match is definitely more brutal than any other match that Long has been in before, but he was prepared to lay his body on the line to teach this upstart a thing or two about wrestling.

Jay only looked annoyed at his comment. "Do not disrespect my holy equipment!" She growled, watching the cage lower. With a slight bow, she would give him one last warning. "Stand down now or face justice!"

The woman began with a respectful lock-up stance, leaning in to get ready to start chain wrestling him, hoping she can get a quick, brutal victory.

The holier than thou attitude she's putting on was nothing new to Long as he had to face a couple of people like this in his past experiences, "I meant no disrespect to your equipment, just making an observation is all. As to standing down... I'm sorry, but I just can't do that." With that, Jay locked right up with Long with a nice battle of strength. It seems as though she was trying to test his speed moreover than his strength and he decided to play along.

Aiming to get the upper hand, Long under hooked her right arm with his left and did a quick 180 degree spin to thrust his back into her stomach. With that, he fell down to his knees and tried to flip her right over to the mat below!

The angelic girl would smirk at his cockyness. Locking up a nice and tight hold, she aimed to out endurance and out manuever him, not out muscle. She wouldn’t be quick to the draw, as Long Shin spun her arm around, twisted, and did a judo flip down onto the mat.

“Oomph! Nice one!” She complimented, shooting her legs straight upwards from this downed position, trying to snare him in a headscissors from this position. “Come over here~” She’d say, trying to pull him down with the headscissor.

Long's throw to the mat was successful as Jay flipped right over him and landed hard on her back. Even with him in control though, it seems that Jay didn't mind it that much. Even going out of her way to compliment him on his move! This made Long question her motive a bit as a quizzical look appeared on his face, but this proved to be enough time for Jay to recover.

Just as Long was about to pull his arm away from her, Jay was able to latch onto it and pull his body down towards her. She then wrapped her legs around his neck into a headscissors hold! Long reached up with both hands around her thighs and tried to pull them apart. His face was now all scrunched together with pain and it was getting harder to breath by the second.

Jay would have a smile on her face. “You fight like a rookie~” She tightened her thighs, twisting and bending, forcing him to move around for her. “Come on submission specialist, show me how to counter.” She loosened for a second, then locked them in deep.

Long's face was starting to turn red from all the pressure that Jay was putting on him, "Nnnnhhh... Gah! Urk!" Long began to make weird noises as the air around him got thinner and thinner. He couldn't be put out this way... Not this quick in the match! He still had a lot of his strength left and Jay is quite the light opponent. Getting his base underneath him, Long started to pull upwards and brought Jay with him on his arm! With her about halfway in the air, Long slammed his arm and her back down onto the mat! He hoped this would be enough to loosen her hold against him.

The angelic woman had Long in quite the interesting hold, twisting and bending his neck with only her legs as he began to change colors. “You gonna tap to a girl that quickly? If you do I’m going to make you repent!” She threatened.
Noticing herself start to lift up, Jay would begin to try to tighten the hold down harder and stop him, but it was too late as she was basically hit with a one-armed powerbomb, smashing into the ring canvas with a loud “EEP!” As she let go.
