L.A.W. - League of Anime Wrestling

The crowd chimed in as the next match was announced. LAW's newest wrestler Davina Kai pushed through the curtains as the announcer read through her information. Behind her stoicism bubbled excitement as she was moments away from taking on a martial artist similar to her. Davina reached the iron steps, bowing deeply before climbing into the ring and bowed to the crowd. Davina walked towards her corner and did some stretching as a means to limber up.

Alyssa was quite interested in the match tonight, her opponent seemed to have a similar background in terms of martial arts as her, which made it a chance to do something that Alyssa actually really wanted to do, throw down with someone in a great MMA type bout. Unfortunately this was a standard wrestling match set up...but Alyssa could still enjoy it if her opponent fought like an MMA fighter and didn't jump around and bounce off of the ropes or anything crazy like some of her opponents.

The blonde soon enough stepped out from behind the curtain as her music started to play out of the speakers, the announcer read off her information as she made her way down to the ring. A wide wild grin on her face as she got up into the ring by rolling in under the bottom ropes. She removed her jacket and tossed it to the side as she would place her right fist against her left palm, cracking her knuckles as she looked on at her opponent. Throwing her a glare as she would step up to the center of the ring.

" Yo." Alyssa greeted.

"So you are to be my opponent? I heard a few things about you." Davina stated as she readied herself for the match, "I hope you give me everything you got for this!"

With the bell ringing, Davina started to move towards Alyssa with hands ready to swing.

Alysa would look on at Davina as she readied herself, she would look on at the fighter as she seemed to have heard of her. The blonde would simply throw on a wide grin and raise her arms up, cracking her knuckles before she readied herself for the fight. " You can bet your ass I will." Alyssa spoke out as the brutish brawler would move forward.

The bell would then ring, signaling that the match had begun. She would throw throw a quick right jab aimed towards Davina's fave and quickly try and follow it up with a low body right hook, trying to bury her fist into Davina's ribs.

Davina noticed Alyssa taking the first swing towards her, blocking both quick strikes at the start of the bell. Davina would see that Alyssa would answer for that with a swift kick to the blonde's right leg. If successful, Davina would follow up with a thrust kick aimed at the chest to push the blonde away.

Alyssa stepped forward as soon as the match had started and threw her two fists at the fellow lightweight however, Davina seemed like she was a tougher cookie than she had expected as she expertly blocked her two strikes and then returned with a strike of her own, letting her leg slice against Alyssa's with a swift kick, a kick that caused the blonde to wince out and stagger back a step.

Then that foot came up and shoved against her modest chest, causing the Brutish Brawler to stumble backwards a few more steps before righting herself. Gritting her teeth in frustration, she'd throw a glare back at Davina.

Davina was all business as was her wont as she moved towards Alyssa, setting the tone for this match in the early goings. Davina reached closer and looked to lock up with Alyssa, eager to engage in a collar and tie-up with her blonde opponent.

Alyssa watched as Davina would move towards her, getting in closer as she looked to lock up with her, Alyssa would grin a bit as she saw her chance for an opening and some payback. She would move in for that lock up. However, just before she would wrap her arms around Davina's head, the Brutish Brawler would try and shoot her leg up and try and nail Davina in the abs with a brutal knee strike.

If it hit it's mark, Alyssa would quickly try and follow it up with strike to the side of Davina's head!

Davina set the tone for the early goings of the match and looked to apply her wrestling knowledge for hands-on experience. Unfortunately Davina found herself the recipient of a stiff knee to her toned abs and as the karateka was doubled over, her vision was rocked to the side by a roundhouse to the head. The impact brought Davina to a knee as she looked stunned for a brief moment.

Alyssa threw her leg up and smacked it into the side of Davina's head as she dropped her down onto one knee, huffing out she would attempt to grab onto that head with both of her hands and sought to lift her knee up and again. Seeking to smack her knee straight up into Davina's forehead and attempt to drop the karateka down onto her back.
