Submission Schooling

Having just finished her workout, Erin took a second to catch her breath. Clad in a black tank top and a pair of green shorts akin to her wrestling outfit, sat down on one of the pieces of equipment and looked around. She was waiting for a certain someone that was supposed to help her train. It wasn't a particularly long wait but the Irish lass was impatient. After her loss in the middleweight tournament she knew changes had to be made. Erin was currently in the middle of a losing streak that she was desperate to halt. Simply charging in wasn't going to cut it anymore if she wanted to perform at a higher level. Her personality wasn't going to change though and she was still hoping to at least charge in to attempting to improve herself by learning some new tricks.

Supposedly arriving soon to help her would be Ducky Williams, a wrestler who he had been recently introduced to and even had a tag match against, the results of which she was reluctant to discuss in any meaningful way other than scolding her own sister. In any case she seemed to have hit it off decently well with Ducky who had agreed to help the Irish brawler learn some new moves. While she admittedly might not have the brains for anything too complicated, she was nevertheless intent on learning a few new submission holds. She had seen first hand just how effective they could be and had finally decided that plain old brawling alone could only take her so far. She needed to learn how to really wear down an opponent without doing the same to herself.

Quickly changing into her wrestling gear in the locker rooms, Ducky finished slipping into her one piece and lacing up her boots as fast as she could, before standing up and making her way out to the gym, looking to arrive soon, hopefully! She was running late, something that she felt awful about, but now that she was finished getting changed into her regular wrestling gear, she was finally ready to go, heading out to meet with former opponent and current partner in their WiP group, Erin Quinn!

Ducky soon managed to get into the gymnasium, quickly scanning the room before spotting Erin, turning and rushing over to the girl, making her way over as she called out to her, apologizing for her tardiness!

"Erin! Hey! I'm soooooooooooo sorry for being late! I guess I didn't realize what time it was. But anyway, are you ready for to learn?!" Ducky said with a grin, quite excited to be able to teach a new friend and teammate!

Erin gave Ducky a rather blank stare as the woman apologized to her. Finally she stretched her arms and yawned loudly. "Aaahhhwwwww...Any longer and I would have fallen asleep." She teased before sticking out her tongue and hopping up from her seat. "Kidding of course. I'm ready whenever you are. Just like...don't break me ok?" She explained with a growing smile. She didn't exactly know what to expect but regardless the redhead was eager to learn and now see what the other WiP member could do.

Realizing she had no idea how to actually start things off Erin would start to laugh nervously. "Sooo ummm...how do you wanna start this? I usually just punch people but that ain't gonna work here right?" The Irish brawler asked. As was her usual m.o. the redhead had not come prepared with a plan. She was just hoping Ducky didn't mind holding her hand a little bit before she got the hang of things.

Giving a slight chuckle as Erin teased her, Ducky moved up close to the Irish girl, already ready to start their training here today, knowing exactly why she was here to help Erin. Still, the Irish woman's words caused her to pause, Ducky suddenly realizing that she hadn't really thought of a game plan for how to go about this. So, a bit awkwardly, Ducky turned to her friend, trying to gather a bit of info.

"Uh... well. I guess to start off, maybe you should tell me what kinda submissions you know, or which ones you want to learn. Anything like that?" Ducky asked. She felt a bit bad, but knowing what Erin wanted to get out of this training was important, as the blonde wanted to know if she was starting from scratch or not!

Glancing upwards, Erin thought for a moment. It was a rare occurrence for the redhead who's internal gears were now spinning in her head. Finally she spoke. "Well can I start with the basics? Like I kinda know the classic flashy stuff like the camel clutch and boston crab...but yeah that's about it. And those are like super simple right?" She explained. The redhead's knowledge of technical wrestling was severely lacking as up until fairly recently she had been able to get by on just hitting hard.

Now stretching her arms out Erin looked right back to Ducky. "So are ya gonna help me? Or do you need me to get in the ring and punch you or something?" She asked, now ready and eager to get things started. More than anything though she truly wanted to learn even if that probably meant she was in for a rough demonstration of how things were done. Of course she'd make sure to get a chance to try out the moves herself so if things got too rough she'd of course be ready to return the favor.

Asking the tentative question of what they needed to work on, Ducky was met with about just as bad of news as she was prepared to hear, Erin naming two holds that were quite simple, even if they were incredible effective, and not much else. Realizing that she had a lot of work to do with Erin today, Ducky would finally just shake her head and give a smile, before sliding up under the bottom rope, moving to hold the rope for her partner, gesturing for Erin to come inside.

"Alright, well, come in here first. We're gonna learn how to control an opponent first. So once you're in here, give me your arm." Ducky said, waiting for Erin to comply. Once the redheaded girl entered the ring and did as she said, Ducky would look to reach down to grab ahold of Erin's wrist, before spinning her arm around, going to place the redheaded girl in a simple wristlock!

"Right, ok, gotcha!" Erin responded with enthusiasm as she hopped up into the ring. She made her way towards the center right next to Ducky. The redhead smiled and held out her arm towards Ducky, hoping to learn a thing or two. Today she'd accept the role of student and contrary to how she had actually acted in school, Erin would be quite cooperative.

Before she even had time to ask what was happening her arm was spun around and she found herself bending awkwardly. She winced slightly and looked up at her blonde teacher. "Ahh...alright. Then what?" She asked, wondering if she should ask for a repeat demonstration or see what happened from there. She would try to show some patience though, staying in her current position until Ducky decided to speak. After all the blonde knew what she was doing. At least that's what Erin was hoping or else she might have picked the wrong partner.

Quickly moving over to Erin, Ducky quickly grabbed the Irish girl's arm, twisting it around to trap her in a simple wristlock, starting off slow as she wanted to go over the very basics with her new friend. Holding Erin in the hold, Ducky would begin to pull a bit on her arm, just enough to move Erin towards her, looking to show what she was talking about as she explained it.

"So, a hold like this isn't too good for going for a submission. But there's all kinds of submissions Erin! Some are useful for causing pain, but there are just as many to help maneuver an opponent. Like this one. Do me a favor, and try to get out of this." Ducky said with a smile, waiting for Erin to do as she asked. Waiting patiently for Erin to do so, as soon as the redhead tried to move, Ducky would twist her wrist a bit more, before tugging the girl this way and that, showing off the control she had from such a simple hold, only using the pain of the wristlock to keep her under control!

After a bit of a pull to her arm, Erin would stumble forward a step towards Ducky. It wasn't hard to see what the blonde was talking about especially after a physical demonstration. It was just what Erin needed. What she didn't quite need, or at least want, though was to be stuck which was the exact situation she found herself in currently. Try as she might to pull away she found that Ducky would just maneuver her right back into position by applying some painful pressure to the hold.

"Nnng ok...can't. Gotcha." The redhead groaned as her efforts were thwarted. Glancing up at Ducky she would shake her head to signal 'no good'. "I'd take notes...but I think I'm going to need my hand back for that." She commented with a little chuckle added. She wasn't too sure if her hand would be returned to her though or if the blonde was going to show her a follow up. Either way though Erin would wait patiently, no longer trying to pull back for the time being.

Smiling at the redhead, Ducky gave her friend a nod as Erin spoke, the redhead seemingly picking up what Ducky was talking about quite quickly, struggling a bit before finally stopping, letting Ducky hold onto her. And though the lesson on the wristlock and controlling your foe was over, Ducky didn't let up on the wristlock at all, instead opting to yank on Erin's arm and pull her in close!

"And then, when you have full control, you can work people into fun stuff like this!" Ducky cried, slipping in behind Erin and releasing her hold, while moving to the next one quickly! She would soon slip a leg between Erin's, before slipping her body up and under the redhead's arm, looking to lock in a very quick abdominal stretch, showing off what she could do!
