Mikala Kekoa vs. Arthur Cross - Paradise Lost

Match Type: Standard
Victory Conditions: Pinfall, submission, or KO
***
Finally, a bloody match.
had been on LAW’s roster for a few months now, fully hired and on the payroll. He was more than happy to sit around and collect a paycheck, most times - if they wanted to pay him to look pretty, who was he to object? But, ostensibly, he hadn't come to this country, this company, this new world of professional wrestling to faff about.
But management was iffy. While they’d known about his backstory in CAGE UK when they hired him, some backstage were already voicing concerns about putting him in a match, worried he and Betty and Alex might start up their old Hellfire Club craziness. That history might repeat itself.
In the end, he had Imogen to thank for working her magic, making some calls, and cashing in on a favor or two. In the end, it didn’t just get him a match, it got him a match against a newcomer, easy prey. The only hitch was that he had to come out alone, this time. No backup, no one in his corner.
No problem.
The man who was walking down to the ring now, while played through the loudspeakers, had no shortage of confidence in his stride and a smile on his face, even as the audience voiced their full disdain. Why should he? This was a layup of a match against some girl who clearly had no idea what sort of trouble she was slipping into. As far as he was concerned his goal wasn’t to win here - that was a given. He just needed to look good doing it.
Arthur Cross was a man who rarely didn’t look good.
He slipped under the ropes, popped to his feet, and promptly skipped to his corner to lazily lean against the pads, not even bothering to stretch. Not worth the effort, today.
