L.A.W. - League of Anime Wrestling

"Good morning fellow wrestling enthusiasts!! My name is Alyssa Bryne and I managed to get an interview with ex Middleweight champion... Kyoko Akan!

Alyssa greeted her many listeners, standing front and center of her camera, stepping back a few paces while speaking, only stepping to the side when she introduced who she was interviewing. On her video, a few sound effects played and the camera automatically zoomed in on Kyoko. On the inside, Alyssa knew that this wasn't a normal interview and that she probably wouldn't get much of another chance to interview someone so extraordinary. So she planned to ask as many questions as she could to make every second count!

"Now. Despite losing her belt in a demoralizing, horrible, absolutely horrendous loss, she has managed to climb her way back through the ranks as of late and has been on a hot win streak! Striking down foe after foe! Let's talk with her and see what she has to say about it!"

She said, sitting herself down in the chair next to her interviewee and happily holding the mic she was holding.

"But first... Kyoko. First, so we start things off easy. What made you get into wrestling and what are your goals with your wrestling career?

She asked, handing the microphone to Kyoko for an answer.

Like she was many years ago Kyoko was about to be interviewed for LAW, holding only her Belly Queen belt in her hands. Except now it felt wrong to only have it, for the better part of 2 years Kyoko had been the Middleweight Champion and it was strange to accept the fact that it was no longer the case. At one point it was the only belt she had too, having lost and regained the Belly Queen Belt during her reign, which was another thing that was bothering her. Still she had to remind people that even without the championship she was still the best around and nothing was going to bring her down, least of all a rough title loss.

Despite taking offense or the way her loss was described, she came out all smiles after the interviewer introduced her Kyoko kept the belt slung over her shoulders to show off as Alyssa asked her what got her into wrestling and what her goals were. A loaded question that Kyoko had to nearly chuckle at before taking the mic. "First part is easy, my family is full of wrestlers. So this was always the main path on my mind, especially because of my dad. I can't imagine doing anything besides wrestling as a lifestyle at this point. As for goals, honestly that's changed a lot from when it started. At first I was just trying to become well respected, but after achieving the heights I did I realized that my true goals are to cement myself as the best wrestler ever. Which I was easily doing during my Middleweight reign, and am still doing despite some idiots thinking my loss was demoralizing. I'm still at the top of my game." Kyoko boasted, handing the mic back to Alyssa.

Alyssa might have been over dramatic during her description of Kyoko's loss of her belt. In fact, she was almost sure that many would disagree with the way she described it. But that kind of dramatics is what kept her viewers watching and also kept them hooked to her way of interviewing. But online discussions and analysis of interviews is what kept her viewers talking about her interviews and coming back for more and though the way she describes events is dramatic, she never out-right lies or spreads misinformation so in her eyes, it was still honest journalism.

At each point and statement from Kyoko, Alyssa nodded and listened intensely, her hands on her lap and she leaned in, clearly wanting and genuinely interested in all the juicy details. She couldn't wait to watch this back at home and write about it in her blog.

"I see. I see. Well you didn't hold the belt for two years for nothing after all! Though you also have a stronger heart than I because I know I would be SUPER depressed if I held the belt for that long and then lost it. But if your recent win streak and your muscles are anything to go by, then you're like a boulder rolling down hill! Sure someone could push you back up but you'll be coming down on them sooner or later! Haha!"

Alyssa spoke with a playful and casual tone, having clearly noticed the difference between Kyoko's muscle tone and her own.

"Speaking of muscle: For the viewers back at home, can I get a muscle comparison between you and I? I'm a wrestler to, however you are a WRESTLER wrestler if you get my drift and I want them to get a feel for how different the two of us are."

Alyssa asked, rolling back one of her sleeves. Alyssa was fit in her own way, but due to wrestling being her side job, she didn't take the sport as seriously as Kyoko did and she wanted to hold her arm up against Kyoko's to show the difference in muscle mass. She mostly just used wrestling as a means to get special interviews with her opponents. On a side note: she was especially thankful that she didn't have to challenge Kyoko to a match to get an interview because she also knew Kyoko would absolutely destroy her in any match type.

The hyperness of the interviewer was a little off-putting to Kyoko who was used to a bit more of a professional demeanor towards these kinds of people. She was still annoyed at her about the way she described her loss, but she bounced off Kyoko's own passive aggressiveness quickly and was already talking about the next thing on her mind, namely her muscles. Kyoko could barely react before the women was coming forward to compare the muscles on their arms, of which Alyssa's own arms came up short when compared to the bulk Kyoko had put on since she joined LAW.

"Yes....Well it was kind of expected. You see I'm used to wrestling all kinds of opponents, not just other middleweights. Take Karen Starring for example who I've battled across multiple companies at this point, women way bigger than me who I've had to crush. so bulking up kinda came with that as it made it easier to use my strength to my advantage, increasing my durability, punching and squeezing. If you need a demonstration of that, for another comparison we can do that too." Kyoko said, which almost felt like a threat at a moment like this where Alyssa was seeing just how short she came when compared to Kyoko's muscles.

For the first time since the start of the interview, it was Alyssa who was taken aback from Kyoko's words. Not only was there a girl who was larger, but she also said what came across as a threat to Alyssa. She might have pushed a bit far and in her mind, a "demonstration" could have meant a match proposal. Not only would she lose badly, she already got an interview with Kyoko so in Alyssa's mind: there was no point in getting in the ring.

"U-um... That isn't demanding a match between us, is it? Cause it almost sounded like you were asking me for a match? Looking to continue your win streak? Cause you would get a pretty easy win from me haha"

She replied, ending with a nervous giggle and a bit of sweat dripped down the side of her face. She had to think of another question but now her mind was a bit frazzled by the way Kyoko was speaking to her.
