L.A.W. - League of Anime Wrestling

Today was the day, wasn't it?

The fact that she’d won the most hardcore title and now has to defend it 24/7 is something she still couldn’t quite believe. That such a calm and calculating woman now holds the most chaotic belt of them all. But in any case, this was a new burden she was willing to bear, not for herself but because this title could help her team achieve glory, and she knew that holding a LAW title was no small feat, since they change hands only very rarely. So if they had to face the toughest fighters, it was necessary.

Now, this was going to be her first PPV, and it was going to be in Cuba. She never thought she’d return to Cuba after so many years, and now as a fighter. What twists life takes, doesn’t it? She would have to fight in an “I Quit” match against a certain Zira Cabalero, a renowned UFC martial artist known for the variety of martial arts she employs. But Marceline drew on both her career in LAW and her experience in mixed martial arts to devise a strategy that would counter Zira’s physical power.

She’s in the gorilla position with her sister, who was going to serve as her manager tonight, and you could tell she was excited that the champion herself said, “It’s incredible that you’re finally on PPV, and I think you’re one of the only female wrestlers of Latin American descent, and… what’s wrong with you, girl?” The manager asked her sister, who seemed conflicted by the situation, “…Ana… I don’t think I was the best choice to be a hardcore champion… I mean, I’m a 40-year-old mother who always looks for a peaceful solution to everything and…”

“And that’s it, old lady,” Marcy was interrupted by Ana “I know you, and I know what you’ve been through personally. I’m sure that even the meanest bitches here, if they experienced just a fraction of what you’ve suffered, would run off crying for their mommy… Sis, you’re the woman with the strongest will I’ve ever met, and I know there’s no one more deserving of that title than you. Believe me," she’ll say to encourage the leader of the Misfits.

Encouraged by her family member’s words, her expression shifted from one of doubt to one of someone ready to fight. “Okay, let’s do this,” she said, determined not only to defend her title but also to protect the future of her loved ones, heading toward the ramp to present herself to everyone as she should

And so it was, they didn’t skimp on the pyrotechnics this time, and the new hardcore champion was introduced to the audience accompanied by her theme song, which served as a declaration of the indescribable spirit possessed by this general of the ring. Her walk was slow but dignified, accompanied by her manager. The perfect soldier displayed all her majesty before everyone.

When she reached the ring, while Ana stepped through the ropes, Marcy cleared the third rope to present herself to the audience, not in a self-centered way but with dignity. “LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, YOUR NEW LAWLESS CHAMPION, MARCELINE DIAZ,” she announced to the audience’s applause. And as her manager had instructed, she raised the Lawless Championship belt high into the air to elicit a reaction from the crowd, then handed it to her sister, who was waiting at ringside. Now the leader of the misfit was doing some final warm-ups as she waited for her opponent for the fight to begin.

Zira huffed a bit as she stretched and prepared backstage for her upcoming match. After getting blindsided in her last match Zira had furious demanded a rematch against the bitch that had done so but was stonewalled due to the woman's pull. Zira herself was no bit player in LAW however and management had no intention of letting her be pissed without a way to placate her. As such they offered her a shot at the new Lawless champion at a ppv no less. While not the same as some personal satisfaction Zira would not deny the opportunity this presented and so she took it and here she was.

Hearing her music begin to play Zira would smirk a bit savagely as she got up and stepped forward, walking through the curtains and posing before the fans who gave a thunderous amount of cheers along with some boos for her not that Zira cared. Strutting down the ramp with a confident smile Zira would eye the title she was currently fighting for that rested in the hands of the champs manager by the looks of it. Pausing by the woman and giving a wink Zira would drag her finger over the title before hopping onto the ring apron and turning to pose, showing off her rippling muscles under the red and black ring gear.

Lifting her legs and smoothly slipping between the ropes and into the ring proper where Zira would now be face to face with the champion. Stepping forward Zira would be face to face with the lawless champion looking her dead in the eyes with a confident smirk on her face. "Hope you're ready for you're reign to end early champ." Zira said cockily before bumping her chest against Marceline's own and then stepping backwards to the center of the ring in preparation for the start of the bout.
