Modified Coffin Match
Winner must the place the loser in a dumpster and shut the lid to win. Fight takes place in a sealed alleyway with no way in or out. No other rules in place.
Honestly, what a breath of fresh air.
No, not the slightly stale air of Tokyo city as Tulli turned and spat her gum out into a hand and pressed it against a wall she walked past. She was meaning the metaphorical breath where the curtains of your upbringing are pushed aside to see the window outside. Tokyo had been a delight of new experiences after Tulli got past the initial impression. It seemed like a land so rigid in discipline that she feared taking up a year contract with LAW was a mistake. That she would be spending a year under the thumb of a conversative government that stepped on any scene that tried to let people live their own lives.
It took a bit, but Tokyo had pockets of people that were down with the system. It was just shoved underneath the carpet to make the room look orderly but it was there. Thank god it was there.
LAW wasn't that bad either. They had a long list of talent, like they were constantly chasing every gimmick under the sun, or so Tulli thought. She mused on that fact as she rounded the corner of clean street.
Too clean.
That made spots like this one she was arriving at, a gem of character in an otherwise characterless city. It made finding these spots hard and while she was tempted to not bring it up, she thought maybe broadcasting a bit of that in Tokyo worked on a few levels. One, it showed viewers that there was a scene here and two, it was openly bragging that Japan couldn't stop it. People would fight the rigid control of any government even if most of the population seemed onboard.
Ahead, Tulli gave a two-finger wave to an official waiting at the mouth of an alleyway. A TV crew was filming her. Back to LAW, it was interesting. They were okay with a lot. If you had an idea, might as well pitch it because it'll be something their writing staff can work with. Tulli had this idea and they went with it. Even found an opponent that seemed to fit.
"All set then?" Tulli's eyes darted to the side, gesturing down the alley at the official, her voice carrying that Londoner accent. "Yes we are good here. Please." The official gestured into the alleyway.
Oh yeah, this will do.
Though she might have preferred the dumpsters not to have garbage in them. The dumpster win condition wasn't even her idea. She just pitched a match that started here. "Thanks, Love."
She said stepping past the official and entering the urbanscape. A few concrete barriers narrowed the pass in to act as a barrier on the entrance but enclosed in by three walls and limited space meant that this was about the same space of a ring. Just no cushion on the ground.
Ouch. Wouldn't want to take a slam here but she could probably take it. Her opponent, however, who knows~
