L.A.W. - League of Anime Wrestling

She is stern and prideful. It's hard for her to give up because she has a lot of determination. That might be what separates her from others. To her, her determination seems normal, but to others, it may seem like she has a lot. She doesn't get it really.



You may have guessed it, but she is also fierce. Pushing herself beyond her mental and physical limits like in her training. Also in the ring as well. Sometimes it's to her own detriment. She knows people call her "princess," but she wants to show that if she's going to be a princess, then she's going to be a warrior princess. She refuses to be someone's little flower.

Kairi had a Japanese father and an American mother. Her father was a politician (reference to the mayor taking her in at Destiny Island). She wanted to live up to being famous in some way to follow in her parents' footsteps at a young age but realized maybe that was not a good idea and she should focus on herself. Her mother was a well-known female athlete. Her parents, sadly, even her mother didn't really get to spend time with them. It was mostly with her grandma. (BBS reference) Who was a wrestler back in the day. She's the reason that Kairi got hooked into wrestling. Female wrestling wasn't that big back then, but it was a thing.



Kairi would mimic the moves on her stuffed teddy bears. She had 7 (7 Princess of Light references) and still has them. She knows how to fix them and such. Because of her determination and smarts, she was able to advance in her grades ahead of her classmates. Making it so she finishes high school at 17 years old. She was trying to apply for a scholarship, and she even applied to America. She did get accepted into one. She lived in the dorms, and the saved-up money that her parents put away for her was more than capable of covering her costs.



She wanted to do some work while she was there. She wanted to get into the financial business side of things. While working a small part-time gig at American Express. Besides that, she didn't really have any trouble handling the classes or homework. That's one of the benefits of grammar school in Japan. Help you organize yourself. Sadly, her grandma did pass away of old age during her first year there. It was a sad time.



There was something that did catch her eye. Pro wrestling teaching and such. She wanted to do something to help her with the pain. So that's why she decided to enroll in the club. She had to do basic training, and she was an athlete at her school, so she was able to keep up the pace very well, especially with her high amount of stamina. After she did that, they let her do practice matches and such. Warm-up matches so she knows how it is to have a real match like the other newbies, and then they get into actual matches. The club has to follow the rules and such so all of her teaching in the club and such is legitimate.



Eventually she actually started to make friends in the club. They mostly ask her for help with their studies and management. She said she would help but with no guarantees. That was fine, and it was helpful. She eventually told them why she joined and that she was thinking about maybe doing it for a professional career, maybe. They talked about a private fight club where they do wrestling and such. It has to always be on the down low.



She didn't like the idea, but she guessed it couldn't hurt. It was strange they went to places even on a boat. Good amount of 18+ matches. She even fought a few times. She was nearly undefeated. Only three beat her, and after each time it was a make-out session but just kissing, which she has to admit she likes. She never knew if anything dark happened.



After she got her degree, she went back home to Japan. Her parents, feeling bad for not being there a lot, wanted to make up for their times missing out on her. They said they will support her in her career as long as it is not criminal-like and they will not have any control over it.



Kairi states they don't need to do that, but she will take their word on it. Her very first full time is at L.A.W.; she works in accounting. She can do her job and enjoy wrestling all in one place. Her coworkers eventually found out about the wrestling thing on campus, and they asked her if Finn ever wanted to wrestle her. Kairi said no, she's fine here, and she doubts she can live off of that, especially since she wants to move out of her apartment. However, she did call in.



Due to the videos they saw, she forgot that her matches got recorded, but only. for the students, and she panics a bit and asks for forgiveness. They told her to relax. She will be fine and legally as well since she committed no crimes. They offered her a choice. Stay where she is or become a part of the roster, but she must do 18+ matches. She will still work for them, but raises will be harder to come by because she has an edge over her coworkers. Quarterly bonuses, if any, will not be affected. She wanted some time to think. They are fine with it and her parents. Well, they said how much they hated the hentai part, but they won't get in her way. At least don't be a hentai wrestler and do mostly non-hentai matches as much as possible. It was not that great of a dinner. Now Kairi is a part of the roster and works for L.A.W. with a fairly new schedule.
