Kim 'Newsnight' Jones was beginning to get the hump with LAW management, they seemed to be going out of their way to pick dangerous opponents for her. She was new, she just wanted to be eased in, but at the end of the day LAW was her dream, and whatever hurdles came up, she would cross.

The light flashed in her room, and she headed out into the arena, the lights where bright and the crowd excited, she waved and blew kisses. The crowd responded which made her happy, though she was a little trouble by a few signs excited to see her get 'demolished'.

She kept her head high and entered the ring, her entrance music blaring as she waved her hands and entered her corner.

Entrance Music

The announcer blared loudly.

"IIInnn the blue corner coming in at 161lbs it's Kiiim Jooones, the news anchor ready to bring you the latest news in arse kicking"

Kim smiled to herself, her confidence rising, her eyes looked to the entry of her opponent.

Wrestling Attire

Backstage, Wendy Sinclair had been watching Kim's entrance on a monitor with her arms folded, the blue-haired biker looking less impressed with every passing second. A news anchor? That was who LAW had decided to throw into a No-DQ match with her? A crooked grin gradually spread across Wendy's face as she pushed away from the wall. "Poor bitch has no idea what she signed up for." Rolling her shoulders, Wendy adjusted her gloves and headed for the curtain. She wasn't interested in being anyone's welcoming committee tonight.

The arena lights abruptly dropped as the growl of a motorcycle engine ripped through the speakers. Wendy emerged beneath the entrance lights, taking a moment at the top of the ramp to stare directly toward the ring. Her mismatched blue-and-yellow eyes settled on Kim before she began her walk, ignoring the hostile reaction from the crowd as though it were beneath her. Once ringside, Wendy grabbed the middle rope and pulled herself onto the apron, stepping between the ropes before moving toward the center of the ring. She stopped there, deliberately forcing Kim to look across at the taller biker while Wendy slowly removed her cap and tossed it outside.

When the announcer introduced her, Wendy barely acknowledged it. Instead, she tilted her head and looked Kim up and down, openly sizing up the woman she'd been given for the night. "So you're the reporter? Shouldn’t you be on my tv instead of my ring?" Wendy called across the ring, amusement creeping into her voice as she backed toward her corner. "Hope you brought somebody to take notes." Her grin widened as she leaned casually against the turnbuckles, eyes never leaving Kim while she waited for the bell. “You're gonna want a record of this."

Attire

So this was the opponent she'd been warned about, she looked tough, but this was the LAW arena, as long as she worked hard and smart anything could happen.

Kim her eyes unfaltering on her opponents, momentarily distracted only by their wonderful heterochromia. She entered the ring with an intimidating swagger, Kim kept her cool, leaning lazily against her corner, trying her best to look unimpressed by Wendy's entrance.

As her opponent came to the centre of the ring their eyes met, Wendy looked her up and down and responded to what she saw disrespectfully, Kim gave her a smug smile, and pushed off the corner, walking slowly to meet her in the centre.

"I'm here on a special report, it's about cocky young wells getting put in their place, I can send you the recording after?"

Kim gave Wendy a smug smile and moved to lock up, intending to find an opportunity to drive a knee into her opponents torso, she wasn't planning on giving her opponent a chance to gain the advantage.

DING! DING DING!

The bell had barely finished ringing when Wendy stepped forward to meet Kim, that smug little comeback earning a short laugh from the blue haired wrestler. "Cute. Let's see how confident you are in five minutes." Her hands came up and she accepted the lockup without hesitation, boots planting firmly against the canvas as the two women collided. Wendy expected Kim to come out aggressively—someone nervous about the matchup would want the early advantage—and she wasn't about to give her the opportunity for free.

Rather than immediately trying to overpower Kim, Wendy attempted to use the lockup itself against her. As soon as she felt Kim shifting closer, Wendy would suddenly twist sideways, looking to slip around her opponent and wrench one of Kim's arms behind her back into a tight hammerlock. If successful, she'd press forward against the trapped arm, trying to force Kim off balance before she could launch whatever offense she'd been planning. "Breaking news," Wendy muttered near her opponent's ear with a mocking chuckle. "You're predictable."

Kim's expression quickly turned to one of intense displeasure as the lockup began, Wendy was looking down at her and she was not appreciating it.

"If you last five minutes"

Kim responded pushing forcefully to demonstrate her strength, she could feel herself bearing down, a thin smile appearing on her face.

It didn't last long as Wendy spun, grabbing one of her arms, Kim was not entirely unprepared, she turned too as she stepped back, and tried to wrench her arm free.

If strength didn't work maybe a kick would dislodge her fiesty opponent.

"Let's see you predict this"

Kim shouted pulling back a fist as a feint as she prepared to kick Wendy off. If that she worked she try and throw a double footed kick to push Wendy to the ground to ropes.

Wendy caught the fist drawing back and immediately braced herself, expecting Kim to swing. That made the kick coming from below all the more effective. "Ngh—!" The boot slammed into Wendy's midsection and forced her grip apart, sending her stumbling backward several steps. Her expression immediately soured. So the reporter had some tricks after all. "Clever little bit—"

Kim's follow-up came before Wendy could finish. Both boots shot toward her, but Wendy tried to turn the momentum against her rather than simply absorb the dropkick. She threw her arms down, attempting to catch Kim by the ankles as the woman's legs extended toward her. If she could secure them, Wendy would try to yank Kim downward and leave her crashing onto her back instead, keeping hold of those ankles afterward.

Kim caught the thrill of dominance as her kick connected, breaking her free of Wendy's grip, the girl stumbled back a brief glance told her she might be starting to give her some respect, but it was not time to float, Kim immediately followed through with a double feet kick, aimed straight at Wendy's midriff.

"News just in you little turd!"

Kim shouted as she threw her all in kick, hoping to slam the girl into the ropes, the kick connected, but not with the force she'd hoped, suddenly their where arms round her ankles, she hadn't hit the girl hard enough to stop her from trying a counter attack, this didn't bode well.

Kim's first though was to tuck her knees in, pulling them together, if she could get her hands round Wendy's head she might be able to pull her face into her knees, or at least apply some pressure before she did something nasty.
