L.A.W. - League of Anime Wrestling

Fresh off the bat from his victory against Sheena Akan, Ryu was feeling quite good. The Dragon was no stranger to rivalries, having been involved in countless of them. With the latest here being against Valley, Misaki, Sheena and Alaina. The matches were all intense and Ryu took each opponent to the limit, despite being much older than two of them. When he came to LAW, he was lacking confidence. He felt as if his career was coming to a whimpering end but after wrestling some of the best and doing quite well against them, he felt renewed vigor. The Dragon wanted more! This is exactly why he came to LAW, going from one tough opponent to the other. He was now looking for his next challenge and it seemed as if it was closer than he would think.....

Clad in his signature blue wrestling briefs and fingerless gloves, Ryu would head out with renewed purpose. While walking down the LAW hallway, he had planned to go out to the arena and make an open challenge in hopes to find a new rival but just as he was walking down the hallway, he noticed a familiar face, one unmistakable thanks to her emerald hair!

"Alizeh Midori.....just the woman I was looking for" he would say as he saw her coming towards his direction. He said that out loud, making sure that she heard him. "I heard about your match against Daisuke....still having ex-boyfriend troubles?" he said with a slight smirk. "Still, I'm glad you taught that arrogant prick a lesson" he added while extending his own hand for a handshake.

Alizeh hummed softly as she idly walked down the backstage halls, dressed in one of her alternate wrestling attires, mostly cause she was here in a auxiliary capacity, not having a match on the card but ready to fill in for anyone that couldn't make it or if a spot on the show opened up. As she did so though she would look up as someone said her name and saw it was Ryu Hiroshi, a rather famous male wrestler here and a vet, and apparently he was looking for her.

"Ryu Hiroshi!" Alizeh said jokingly matching the way he greeted her before grinning softly as he mentioned her private match against Daisuke and casually gave a jab against the man, already starting off on a good note in Alizeh's book. "Yeah needless to say I sent the little prince whimpering back to his castle with no issue." Alizeh said, looking Ryu up for a moment before smirking.

"Likewise I heard you did well in a similar match against Wisteria Khan. No footage obviously but I heard you won by a landslide. Not easy over someone like that." Alizeh complimented back before realizing something that Ryu had said that went somewhat subtly by before. "Also you said you were looking for me? Is there something I can help with?" Alizeh asked curiously while placing her arms under her bust, coincidentally pushing them up a bit as a result.

One of the wrestlers that the Dragon truly respected around here was Alizeh. He had seen some of her matches, and she was truly one of the best that LAW had to offer. Alizeh had put in a lot of work in the gym and the ring, there was no doubt about that and her accomplishments showed how much she had improved over the years. The two wrestlers would come face to face, striking a friendly conversation as Ryu mentioned her impressive victory against her former boyfriend and overall menace at LAW. "Heh, well I am glad you were able to teach that arrogant man a lesson." he said while nodding.

Ryu smiled when she mentioned his own impressive victory. "Ah yes, Sheena-chan" he said, using her real name instead of the persona she had. "Yeah, Sheena-chan is a formidable opponent, one who I deeply respect. I did beat her convincingly yes, but she is....going through something. I know she will come back stronger one day" he said, full of admiration for his former rival.

"Hai, yes." he said, gently tapping his palm against his forehead. "The reason I was looking for you was well.....like I said, I admire you as a wrestler and I believe you are one of the best wrestlers here. I still believe I am the best wrestler here or at least good enough to defeat the best, like yourself. So, to put it plain and simple- I want to wrestle you Alizeh. I want you as my new rival after Sheena." he said, looking right into her eyes.

Turning and leaning against the wall as Ryu spoke Alizeh would half listen and half admire the man. It was no secret that she preferred women generally speaking, but she definitely appreciated a good looking man as well. Especially an older one. Maybe due to her previous experience dating a guy her age so she appreciated someone older like Ryu.

But it also helped that he was a great wrestler, and a pretty honorable one too and one of the few guy wrestlers she could say she was a fan of growing up. As such she would turn her attention up a bit as he mentioned why he was looking for her that being he was apparently looking for a new rival. Someone to compete against and he wanted it to be her causing her eyes to widen a bit. "Oh wow hehe consider me flattered Ryu." Alizeh said as she pushed off the wall and looked him up and down once again before smiling. "Hm consider it a deal. I think you were scheduled to do a promo splash open challenge yeah?" Alizeh asked as her smile turned into a bit more of a smirk giving him a pat on his pectoral.

"Go ahead and go out there and say what you were planning on saying yeah? Don't let me agreeing in advance kill the fun for the fans. But I'll be there. After all we'll need to discuss... all the details for this rivalry and it'd be nice to do it where everyone can see us. I'mma just make some last minute adjustments for my gear now that I know do have a match." Alizeh said as she turned to walk away but stopped to look over her shoulder with a teasing look on her face. "See you out there dragon." Alizeh said with a wink as she then began to make her way to the woman's only locker room, a noticeable sway to her hips as she did so to await her que from Ryu once he was in the ring.

With their conversation backstage being over, it was time to head outside to the LAW arena. He noticed that Alizeh seemed quite interested in this rivalry, but given her smile, the touch of his chest and her sultry walk- he thought perhaps she was interested in more than just a rivalry. He didn't blame her, it was LAW and even competitive wrestling matches here had an element of sexiness to them. Ryu didn't mind, Alizeh was a beautiful and fit woman and of course, he was a handsome and fit male as well.

With that, the Dragon would head outside to the LAW arena. His music hit and he would walk down the ramp towards the ring with a mic in hand already. His bronze body on display for the crowd, who cheered the wrestling legend on. Once he entered the ring, he walked to the middle of the ring where the crowd cheered his name and gave him all the respect that he deserved.

"Arigato" he would say, bowing in respect to the LAW crowd. "Thank you, you are the reason I continue to wrestle to this day. I will wrestle as long as I feel I am worthy enough to give you all a spectacular match and am worthy enough to be in the ring" he said. "Today, I am going to give you exactly that. You have seen my rivalry against the Amazon Alaina, Valley Doll, Sheena-chan.....now, I am looking for a new challenge" he said. "I still think I am one of the best wrestlers here, and I continue to prove that by challenging the best and defeating them" he said.

"Alizeh Midori.....YOU are my next challenge" he said before lowering the mic and looking at the entrance ramp

Alizeh smiled softly as she waited backstage, right by the entrance curtain as Ryu made his own entrance and addressed the crowd announcing his open challenge, before then outright calling Alizeh out making her smirk a bit wider. Gripping the microphone in her hand already as within a moment of her name being uttered the tell tale crack of lightning from her entrance music would kick on, followed by the guitar riffs of her song as Alizeh wasted no time in coming out from the back to cheers.

Looking around for a moment and taking in the cheers of the fans from the crowd Alizeh would not keep Ryu waiting long as she then made her way down the ramp and towards the ring, climbing up the apron and then slipping between the ropes and into the ring fully. Looking him up and down for a moment Alizeh would oh so casually walk up to the man, looking up fearlessly at him with a confident grin on her face a she raised the mic up to her lips.

"Well obviously I accept." Alizeh said in a light hearted tone before continuing. "But you know... you talked a lot about rivalries, and mentioned some big time names. Names I've gone up against myself... So I'm curious Hiroshi Sama, if we throw down tonight can I assume its a best of three? Five? How many rounds do you think you can go against me before gassing out hm? I'm just... curious what I should be expecting. Both for tonight... and after." Alizeh said with some tasteful teases towards the man and some playful jabs into his chest before lowering her mic and nodding to him, inviting him to respond back, curious to see how he would do so.
