ViVi S. Valentine vs. Tsubasa Oribe.
Type: Hogtie match
Rules: Ropes are hidden beneath the ring apron, and the use of foreign objects is permitted. Explicit lewdness is not allowed. As part of the victory conditions, your opponent must first be restrained with ropes before a pinfall, submission, K.O or tap-out can count.

ViVi seemed somewhat excited, though not entirely because of her serie of matches. Granted, that alone was enough to make her dangerous little heart leap with excitement, but tonight it was more about the opponent she had chosen. Not her whims.

Honestly, the whole thing had been a hassle. Apparently, Tsubasa came with an entire tide of protocols and requests before agreeing to a fun match. Or maybe all those conditions only existed because it was her doing the inviting instead of some other girl. Had her reputation as a heartbreaker really spread this far already? Were her kinds of private shows simply too much for an idol?

It was not as though she had done much more than steal the hearts of a few wrestlers with a kiss or two. It was not like she planned on devouring the heart of a cute girl right in front of all her fans.

She lied to the mirror, because in truth, that was exactly what she wanted.

Seated in her chair, nearly ready to begin, she tilted her head back. Honestly, she had hoped Tsubasa Oribe would be less meticulous about her rear and more willing to simply step onto the stage already. But apparently not, the girl took very good care of it. At the very least, setting up this episode had been easier than her match with Ayumi Tanaka.

Drawing in a deep breath through her chest, she exhaled sharply and straightened herself up. Well, time to get moving. So, showing that devilish smile toward the mirror, she winked at her own reflection, as though the glass itself were Tsubasa moments away from being tied up by her with a pretty tricolor rope.

The deviless from the United Kingdom would, this time, wear her classic wrestling attire, complete with her platform boots and that absurd amount of clips woven through her pink hair. She had even gone back to her old short twin-tails.

She still remembered this adorable outfit, how fun it used to be pretending she improvised every little piece of it, as though those bands and hair clips were not carefully selected weapons meant to drive her opponents insane.

Now, springing to her feet with a hop that sent her throne rolling into the wall, she posed once more to admire herself, to accept that she was ready. With one last fleeting wink, she bid farewell to her mirror before finally heading out.

Today’s stage would be a ring set up inside the L.A.W gym. They would even use an official referee and all that, though she was still not entirely convinced about which side that female referee was on. Still, she appreciated L.A.W lending her one for the occasion.

"I hope you gave some thought to what I told you yesterday."

The staff member swallowed nervously. She was a brunette with her hair tied back into a ponytail.

Then, ViVi stepped into the ring and switched on the main camera with a remote control, which she casually tossed to a second staff member whose only job was making sure none of the cameras shut off. She had already explained how they worked and which button did what several times by now. She herself had made sure since yesterday that every camera around the ring worked in perfect sync and had a proper angle.

Editing all the digital footage afterward would be troublesome, but viewers adored different camera angles, and they also loved full unedited recordings. So she was hardly losing anything by releasing her director’s cut while throwing the remaining footage onto the internet for free. But this was nothing more than ViVi luxuriating in her own brilliance and magnificence, again...

Right now, what truly mattered was reminding the referee who she was supposed to support with a far from subtle glare, all while they waited for the star of this episode, who had better be punctual if she did not want to discover the cruelest side of a queen like ViVi.

Tsubasa Oribe was an extremely good idol. Being an idol was extremely fun, but the culture that surrounded idols was extremely. . . exacting. A more blunt person, or perhaps a less PR trained person, might replace 'exacting' with 'insane,' 'constricting,' 'inhumane,' or possibly even 'stupid as fuck.' Even on her worst day, Tsubasa probably wouldn't think the last one of those. But the others could creep into her mind from time to time.

The primary source o that was the inherent contradiction idols faced between needing to maintain an image of purity for their fans, while also needing to keep their attention and adoration through using their bodies and actions to create an attraction and sex appeal towards themselves. Then with how cut throat the idol industry was was, and with now desperate some idols got to toe the edge of that contradiction as closely as possible to find an edge, even a woman whose body had as much natural appeal as Tsubasa still had to play the game in search of an edge in order to stay ahead.

Fortunately, Tsubasa was a really good idol, and her manager was even better at managing the line. She couldn't do anything sexually explicit, nor even anything as romantic as a kiss, but there were a surprising number of options that were just as erotic and appealing as things Tsubasa could never dream of doing, yet lacking the explicit lewdness that would make fans riot that she'd 'ruined' her purity.

Wrestling, for one. Tsubasa's manager had been very interested when she learned that her star talent not only knew how to fight, but was more than willing to use that to further her career. But it could go further than just that. Say you add a rope into the equation. Now you have bondage, BDSM, and damsel in distress angles that people would eat up whether she was on the giving or receiving end of it.

The effectiveness of how Tsubasa had been handling her career was evident the moment that her music came on, and she stepped out from backstage, into the arena. This match was actually an event for her opponent, Vivi S. Valentine, yet Tsubasa got twice the crowd reaction and cheering that Vivi had gotten for her entrance. The idol had effectively come into Vivi's house and taken it over. Win or lose, career wise, today was going to go down as a success for Tsubasa, barring her suffering some severe injury.

Tsubasa jumped, waved, pointed, and posed for the crowd as she made her way down into the ring, and then after she had entered into it, before skipping over to Vivi. "Hello! So happy to be on your show," Tsubasa cheered. A genuine sentiment, even if her expression of it was a bit worked for the cameras. "So tell me, what makes your show different from other LAW broadcasts?"
