Queen...the "Center of Attention"...is Kotomi's heel identity, created in part with her cousin Hana, for when the nerdy rookie wants to portray a more 'sinister' character in the ring whenever the time calls for it. Courtney is a blonde American woman hailing from somewhere in California, a wealthy social butterfly with a silver tongue and an irresistible charm. Courtney is everything that Kotomi isn't. A conniving and manipulative heel who looks out only for herself, willing to go to great lengths to expose, debilitate, and humiliate her opponents until it is WELL ESTABLISHED that she is the superior wrestler. When it comes to in-ring action, she moves with a much sharper pace, and The epitome of a 'gaijin' in Joshi wrestling circles, Courtney is Kotomi's complete caricature of the ditzy So-Cal mean girl, with all the practiced mannerisms to convey the sensual and passionate dominance of an insatiable young woman with a drive for glory and the wit to do whatever it takes to achieve it. And thanks to her cousin, Kotomi's picked up English rather fluently, with her speech having only the most subtle accent.
Kotomi's first foray into professional wrestling was a smash hit, and over time, she built herself up as more than just a plucky newcomer or some young star tied to the name of a better-known talent. Eventually, when the truth came to light, Kotomi stood firm in her decision and remained committed to the life of a wrestler, like Akari. However, Kotomi was keen on charting her own path and being seen as more than just her older sister's little sibling. And following the passing of her father and her mother's debut, Kotomi made her way into LAW, aiming to carve her way straight to the top of the Lightweight Division.
Personality: Kotomi is, at her core, a very spirited young woman. Her youthfulness leads to some rather passionate, albeit bratty, conversations where she can be a tad obnoxious about her hyperfixations, one of which is wrestling itself. Kotomi can come off as a bit of a know-it-all, like a dorky young lady with a bit of snarkiness trying to act cool like her older sister and cousin, all the while being unable to contain herself whenever she's talking about things she's into. She can be pretty argumentative, too. She's the type to tease you by calling you 'cringe' before geeking out over her favorite animated web series or indie video game fixation of the month. She also gets very defensive of her family, often rushing to the defense of her mother, sister, or cousin whenever any one of them is insulted. When it comes to her sister, she has a great relationship with her, and while she'll always defend her, that doesn't stop the younger sibling from being a bit of a brat and butting heads with her now and again, as siblings tend to do.
