A Heroine Caught in a Blizzarding Storm: Astra Nova vs Ivy Aster

15 Minute Ironwoman Match, Standard Rules
Ivy Aster had received a request from LAW management when she had been booked for this match; to play up her Ice Queen persona. It was something she had developed long before coming to LAW as something of a social shield. Protecting Ivy against her nature as an anxious woman, who was rather easily flustered or embarrassed. So she learned to shut down most outward expression of emotion for when she needed to keep those feelings from coming through.
It was a facet of Ivy that she herself had considered abandoned, until she pulled it out for her charity match against Kanako Sawatari, which proved to be as much a performance as it was a match. Prompting Ivy to play into her old mask to help put on a show by playing up the role of a dominant heel.
It appeared as though LAW wanted her to do something similar here. Her opponent, Astra Nova, styled herself as a space heroine, fighting to rid the planet of villains. Or at least of wrestling heels. Astra also wasn't an especially strong wrestler. Not quite a jobber, but still outclassed by a wrestler of Ivy's caliber. She had been told that LAW's vision of this match was Astra as the relentless heroine, fighting against a brutal blizzard trying to freeze her into submission in Ivy.
It seemed like LAW wanted more of the cold, dominant figure she struck during her more controlling parts of the match against Kanako. Ivy wouldn't have to change or restrict how she fought at all, so she didn't really have an issue with granting LAW's request. She had been told once by Tiki that, with the unmatched variety of potential opponents and zany match types that LAW had, they probably had the executive board and matchbooking group you wanted to avoid pissing off the most in the wrestling world.
Ivy's music came on, and she came strutting out onto the ramp towards the ring. Popping her hips out with each step, arms crossed underneath her hefty chest to push it up, mouth set in an unshifting slight frown, and her eyes focused dead ahead and covered by her fascinator. Just one extra layer to the image of cold and unapproachable. Admittedly, Ivy didn't like playing up her sexuality, and already felt the embarrassment welling in the bottom of her stomach. But if she was already employing the emotional suppression that came with her Ice Queen mask, then she may as well utilize it to bolster her image. When Ivy reached the ring itself, she climbed up the stairs. But instead of slipping between the ropes, as a demonstration of the prowess which would crush her heroine foe, Ivy would turn on her heel and perform a twisting backflip over the ropes, landing perfectly on the ball of her feet as an acrobat or gymnast would. The crowd was roaring Ivy's name already.
