The Arcade in Question

But the disappointment was short-lived. Elena straightened up and stretched her arms above her head, arching back to really feel the bones crack. Her eyelids shut from the shudder coursing through the whole body, the instant ease of movement reflexively eliciting a relieved sigh out of her.
Elena's Casual Fit

The blonde had been on the ground floor of the arcade for a while now, having gone through a multitude of game titles, ranging from the fast-paced, gung-ho style racing games like Crazy Taxi and Daytona USA, to the run-and-gun types like Metal Slug, and the pinball Monster Bash, just to name a few.
And this comprehensive session had warmed up her motor controls for her to ascend to the floor above, where all the real action was going to happen. A smug smirk formed on her lips as she cracked her knuckles. “Now, we level up”
The first floor was a completely different energy. The air of competition was more prevalent, and people were huddled around machines in groups, cheering on their friends and trying to psych out their opponents.
Street Fighter titles, Marvel V Capcom, Tekken, Gundam and more…..there was something for everyone, and almost all of them had takers. Time to dive right in.
The blonde woman spent the next hour playing them all, hopping from one machine to another, going solo, playing against others. Elena, the Kenyan tribal princess and her namesake, kicked the most butts and kept the blonde Elena undefeated in Street Fighter. Until finally, her eyes fell on a particularly rare game, at least in Japan — Mortal Kombat. And specifically, the machine was for Ultimate Mortal Kombat III.
“No way….they’ve got that here?” Elena’s pupils went wide, lighting up at seeing the game being available here, and that’s where she was going to hop onto next, and damn sure that some other enthusiast would join in as her competitor for it. The arcade was massive, and the collection of goodies available even more so. Surely she couldn’t be the only one appreciating the intricate detailing of violence in a fighting game….?
