Personality: Reika is cold and calculating, a cunning woman who always gets what she wants. She loves nothing more than feeling control over others and will even act against her own interests to do so if the idea is tempting enough.
It's difficult to pin down just who she is, changing her personality on a whim to fit her needs. Every person who meets her meets a slightly different version, though whatever mask she's wearing, she's always dangerous.
Background
The Dojima family has been involved in the Japanese criminal underground for decades. For Nao, this just meant she had a comfortable upbringing as her parents didn't involve her in the family business. Her father spent plenty of time with her brothers of course, showing the ropes so that they could one day take his place.
Nao was jealous of her brothers and often snuck around, spying on her father during his meetings. Peeking into that world awoke something in her. The power struggles, the influence, the ability to make someone submit to you without lifting a finger. It was all so alluring.
Her family would never approve of her taking a more active role in their operations, not unless she could prove her usefulness first. So she didn't participate outright. She stayed out of things, but always stayed close enough to the criminal underworld to know what was going on and who hated who.
She used all the manipulation tactics she had picked up from watching her father, using her family's reputation to make small moves and earn favor with local gangs, all under her father's nose.
When she felt she could no longer hide her actions, she made a bold play and paid a visit to a man her father had been feuding with for months. He owned several clubs and gambling holes and had been stubbornly refusing to let the Dojima family use his properties in their activities, claiming they were old news and "not worth the risk".
Later that night Nao returned home with a written agreement to cooperate and a wad of cash given as an apology. Her father was astonished and offered to truly take her under his wing, but she refused. She realized that she liked staying out of the spotlight. Besides, this was too fun to make into a job.
Going forward, Nao would keep her distance. Like a ghost she would appear occasionally to sort things out or disturb the balance of power. She had also begun her own ventures, diving into the corporate world of white collar crime. She loved the thrill of working on a larger scale, of trapping the rich and powerful under her thumb.
After years of fun and millions in profits, things started to catch up to her. One of her schemes was nearly uncovered. It was then that she had yet another realization. This was all getting too stressful. As fun as it all was, it wasn't like it used to be. Somewhere along the line she had let things get away from her.
And so she left. Went into hiding and underwent a complete makeover. Not long after, Reika Kurogane appeared, and she had an idea of where she was headed next. She thought back to watching her father intimidate thugs and gangsters, people who were used to using violence to solve their problems. To know someone could pummel you into a bloody pulp, and ripping that sense of power of away from them, that was what she craved.
Wrestling was the perfect venture for her. There was no shortage of arrogant muscle heads for her to hold in the palm of her hand, and with her corporate experience she was a more efficient manager than most.
She was able to easily get her clients what they wanted and, once she had gained a reputation, she started to catch the attention of some wrestlers at LAW where her office now resides. But be warned, entering under her management is like making a deal with the devil.
