Loserbelt Champion Renee Steinhauser

Renee would come out to the ring, music playing behind her. She had a very pissed off face as she would be dragging the Loserbelt Championship behind her. She then threw it into the ring before she would climb up the steel steps and entered the ring. There, she would yell at the guy to give her a mic. Seems like Renee has something to say.

“Everyone shut the fuck up! I have something to say. I’m sick and tired of LAW Management fucking me over in the ass with the shit they’ve been doing to me. Not only have they stripped my shot at the LAW Lightweight belt, but they decided to get really funny and made me their fucking Loserbelt Champion! It’s disgusting! I deserve some fucking respect in this ring. I have been wrestling ever since I was fresh out of high school! I’m tired of it! But you know what I think? I think I should attack this problem of mine at the source.”

Renee would then lean against the ropes close to the ramp as she pointed at it.

“Angie get your bitch ass out here right now! My current career in this shithole of a wrestling promotion all started because you fucked me in the ass when you decided I didn’t deserve another title shot when that bitch Annie decided not to put the title on the line against me. You have been the biggest thorn in my side for the longest time and it’s about time I plucked you out of me! I’m calling you out, bitch! You think you’re better than me? Better than Renee Fucking Steinhauser? You aren’t! You’re just a prune in a suit! You challenged me, well I’m answering your challenge! Cmon! Fight me! FIGHT ME!

Renee was incensed in the ring. The Loser's Champion kicked up a fuss. She shouted up a storm. The crowd booed the angry heel as she bemoaned the lack of respect she was getting around LAW from wrestlers and fans alike!

The fans seemed to know the drill. No matter how loud the raven-haired girl got or how well that scarlet letter of a red "championship belt" matched her red top, the lightweight heel refused to be ignored! Which made it all the more intriguing when Steinhauser invoked LAW Management and called out The Assistant General Manager, herself by name!

Ears perked up all around the arena when they heard Renee go off! Despite the massive size of the LAW roster, no one dared call out management, let alone the number 2 in charge! A brief silence followed the "champion's" belligerent words.....and then.....

"Hmm? Hello! Yes, the little angry woman in the ring. Yes, you! Eyes up here, Renee!" A voice echoed out as Defoe appeared on the titantron screens both above the entrance ramp and high up in the rafters of the arena.
LAW Assistant General Manager Angie Defoe

"I'm sorry. You didn't expect me to actually grace you and all these fools out here with my presence, did you? I'm afraid I'm a very busy woman. I simply don't have the time!"
Angie closed the drawer under her desk. She seemed to be broadcasting from the very same office she had Renee thrown out of just the other day!

"But you know what I do have time for? I have time to straighten out a jobber hack, who's totally out of line!" Defoe pushed up her glasses and placed both hands on the desk in front of her, assuming a more assertive stance!

"Allow me to clarify some things for you, my dear hapless, foolish Renee." Angie put her hands together, interlacing her fingers as her tone grew more serious and....more ominous.

"1) I didn't "challenge" you. I'm afraid that would be a massive waste of time for both of us. I'm not in the business of issuing challenges. And if I were, I wouldn't waste my time with, let's face it, the most expendable woman on the roster."

"2) I am your boss, not the other way around. You do what I tell you to do! Your fate is in MY hands! I could fire you without a second thought right now. Have security escort you off the premises. Send your things from the locker room to your home address in a garbage bag because that would match the skill you bring with you to the ring. But I'm not going to do that. Instead, I'm going to do something for you that I don't do for anyone. I'm going to repeat myself so clearly, you and every last layman in this one-horse town should be able to understand me in no uncertain terms. You should thank your lucky stars."

"Renee Steinhauser, do you want to know the real reason I haven't issued you any kind of challenge? It's because, as the Loser's Champion, you are officially the bottom of the barrel amongst the 90 percent of women who don't go on to make any sort of meaningful impact in this company and in wrestling as a whole. You could find a way to lose a wrestling match to a stiff breeze. Now, I've been retired for some time, but I don't think I could beat you and half this roster without so much as breaking a sweat. You didn't understand me last time, so let me make this clear. If you question my authority, if you can't keep my name out of your mouth, if you make me get in that ring with you, I will squash you like the gnat you are. I will grind you pretty little face into the very bottom of the totem pole until you know exactly where you belong around here. And I will dogwalk you all over my ring and my arena with that same decrepit belt you've been cursed to wear. I will dock your pay below the minimum wage. I will put you on display as an example to make sure no one is ever brave enough or stupid enough to run their mouth at me again." Angie let her unhinged, menacing rant marinate there for a moment. Her aura of malice cut through the arena more and more with each word. Finally, the buxom blonde would put on a corporate smile, one that did absolutely nothing to hide her sinister intent, before giving Renee the chance to bow out before she could draw her full ire!

"Do I make myself crystal clear? You can apologize to me now if you understand just how out of line you were."

Renee would take all of the Assistant GM’s words to heart, very much so. She was very much right with the fact that Renee was a company woman first, gimmick second. Did she really wanna go back to traveling around the world to wrestle, and most likely orgasm, to backstage indie shows? Renee benefitted financially being apart of the LAW roster and to throw it all away because her unlucky run as the Loserbelt Champion most likely derailed her career trajectory. But then Renee thought about it some more. This was the same woman that kickstarted Renee’s Loserbelt run. She was within her right to continue being the number one contender for the LAW Lightweight Championship but was unrighteousness snubbed off of it and then made a fool of becoming the new Loserbelt Champion. This was more about her pride than her employment at this point. If she were gonna go through with this, Renee would be getting the chance to get her hands on Angie and possibly kick her ass in front of a live crowd and to Renee, it may be worth the risk. After a few more moments of silence, Renee would finally speak.

“You know what I think about your threats here, Angie? I think the reason why you won’t come down to this ring and tell me that straight to my face is because you are scared that I will upstage you and ruin your reputation of the LAW management and your status as well. You only call me expendable because you don’t know how to run this company and wrestler come out of the wazoo to keep ratings alive. You’ll dock my pay below minimum wage? That’s fine by me too. Because in case you have been sniffing up the fumes coming out of the GM’s asshole and forgot who I was, I’m fucking Renee ‘Renegade’ Steinhauser! I love wrestling! So how about you make do with your threats and let’s have ourselves a real match! You and me, Angie! Let’s finally settle this woman to woman! We Are LAW 8! I got your ass. Now do you accept this or are you too scared that your washed ass can no longer take on talent like me and prove to me and everyone in this arena that the LAW management are a bunch of cowards who suck up to the Legends of this business, leaving us actual stars in the dust?”

Renee would drop the microphone as the crowd was suddenly behind her. It seemed like they too want to see this match happen. Renee really put Angie in a position of whether to save face or save the image of LAW management. Renee would be all fired up now as she waited for Angie’s response.

For a moment, "The Renegade" actually fell silent, contemplative even! The commentators and fans speculated on whether or not Steinhauser would actually capitulate to the face of LAW Management here and now! In truth, it wasn't the worst option. No matter how much vitriol and malintent Defoe spoke with, many a LAW wrestler had suffered worse fates in the ring than a public tongue lashing from their boss. The Loser Champion very well could have stayed silent and let this storm pass, pack up, and head to the back without the full might and ire of The Assistant GM directed at her. As the woman in charge of The Renegade's contract, the power dynamic was in Defoe's favor. No one would have blamed Renee. Certainly, she has a chance here to lay low, tuck her head, and avoid the big, recognizable names at LAW like Angie. Perhaps in a few months, she could shed herself of The Loser's Title and earn some wins- earn some dignity back. Perhaps silently leaving the ring here and now would have been her very first step in turning things around. Then again, for a hot-blooded firecracker like Renee Steinhauser, perhaps stepping up to Angie put her in a situation where she had nothing more to lose and everything to gain!

"Excuse me?" The businesswoman raised her eyebrow when the lightweight in the ring insinuated that Angie was keeping her distance due to a fear of being upstaged!

The crowd grew hot and invested when told her boss off on live television! The petite raven-haired girl laid down the gauntlet! She demanded that Angie put up or shut up! And with her reputation and the pecking order of LAW at stake, Defoe couldn't afford to take all this lying down!

Angie gave it a moment to let the anticipation build and to let the crowd rally behind Renee's mic drop! She held her head in her palm and looked down at her desk for ten seconds or so before facing the camera again and responding.

"Heh.....hehehehe...lovely Renee. Just lovely! I knew there was a reason we offered you a LAW contract! Hahahahaaaaaa...." Defoe giggled like a madwoman.

"You want to settle this woman-to-woman? You want me in my first-ever LAW singles match?! Gladly!" The buxom blonde stood up out of her seat and placed both hands on her desk as she grew more assertive!

"LAW Assistant Angie Defoe versus Renee Steinhauser at We Are LAW 8! Consider the match booked!" Angie smiled menacingly!

"Oh, and Renee....you should know that I didn't earn my status as Assistant GM by not being a woman of my word. I was very serious when I threw you out of my office with the promise that I would make you regret it dearly if you crossed paths with me again."

"Unlike yourself and most of the LAW men and women in this company, I actually DO make the matches! I actually DO call the shots! Your match with me will be a POW match. Oh, and bikini attire, since that will be good for the ratings. I am going to humiliate you in front of a crowd thrice the size of this one. And after I beat you and make you my servant, you will spend every waking moment for the rest of your career making sure that no one else ever has the audacity to attempt the foolishness that you did tonight." Angie's smile grew warmer, and in an odd way, it made her presence that much more unnerving.

"I'm looking forward to the pay-per-view, darling! I'll see you then!" The Assistant General Manager waved before the feed cut out, leaving a black screen and the promise of a blockbuster, make-or-break match for Renee Steinhauser!
