I apologize for being scarce as of late. I've missed a lot of messages and some deadlines. There's a lot of work to do and a lot to catch up on. I don't know how I'm going to get back on top of everything, but I'll try to this week.
A few weeks ago, my grand aunt passed. She lived a full life, but she was also my mother's adoptive mom. I had to spend a lot of time organizing the funeral efforts, the burial, transportation to and from for family, and so on. I'm also still consoling my mom, and have been for a while. It's been a lot.
I tend to recede when I'm not doing too well. I don't mean to do it at anyone's expense, or at the expense of the community. I can't do much more tonight, as I have work on the morning. But I'm gonna try to do what I can this week.
Thanks, everyone.

Although I do enjoy joking about LAW's local cryptid, this is a perfectly excusable reason for being absent. Some things are just more important. Take all the time you need; anyone who takes issue with this would be pretty heartless.

No matter what anyone in the world thinks, you and your life takes predecence over anything that happens here. My condolences for your grand aunt and your family, and you have nothing to apologise for. You are doing the right thing, caring for your own family in these times. If you need more of a break, take it. We aren't going anywhere.

Man, my condolences.
I think sometimes I say it, other times I just repeat it, but on this occasion I think it needs to be said for the thousandth time: you're doing well, Winner. The fact that you work hard for your family and give us your time is already a sign of the heavy burden you carry.
Don't feel bad, and don't think you haven't done a masterful job. You've done well, you're doing well, so treat yourself well. Also, my condolences. Family is family, no matter where the ties come from.
