Victory Conditions: Gained by either pin, KO, or submission from the opponent.

Panther Risako had been away from televised appearance for a while now, having been relegated to dark matches to help some newer stars find their footing in the industry. But tonight, Risako would return to the spotlight, and she was slated to face a rookie named Kodama Yuki.

This time, she aimed to make a good show for the crowd as well as to add another win under her belt. Building up her reputation and prestige was something that she needed to do in order to chase for recognition and title. Whoever she would face tonight, she would not hold herself back.

Her music was playing as she made her entrance. She strutted down the ramp, waving her hand and blowing kisses here and there. The crowd cheered upon seeing the Queen of the Ring, and tonight, she would make sure they would be entranced by her performance.

Entering the ring, Risako would do some light stretches, showing off her leotard-clad body before she leaned against a turnbuckle, draping her arms over the top ropes as she would wait for her opponent.

Life as a wrestler was going really well for Kodama Yuki right now. She was on the first win streak of her young career, the crowds loved her, and something that she had originally planned as something to help her get in shape had turned out to be so much fun that the brunette was seriously starting to consider professional wrestling as an option for a career.

Kodama's win streak would be tested tonight though, as she heard that her opponent for tonight was a veteran of the sport, whereas the shortstack's win streak had been built on other rookies. One other thing Kodama noticed was the crowd's reaction to her opponent's entrance. It was big. Probably as big as Allie Lee had gotten as the opponent Kodama had debuted against, and she had been chosen as Kodama's opponent for that match specifically because she could be relied on for a massive pull.

Kodama's music came on, and she made her entrance. The crowd response was as big as it always was, the shortstack was a pretty good draw. But it was still noticeably less than what her opponent had gotten. Kodama wasn't delusional enough to think of herself as world, or even nationally famous yet, but she was still used to getting the bigger reaction. She wasn't jealous about it, though. Rather, she was excited that she seemed to have been given a step up in her opponent.

"Hello! I'm Kodama Yuki," she'd say once she was in the ring. "They didn't give me your name, just that you were a veteran. You must be somebody pretty big or important though, I'm not used to getting the quieter cheering. I'm pretty new to all this though, so sorry if I should know you. I hope we can have a good match!"

One thing that Risako had noticed about her opponent was that how small she was. Not that she was going to start underestimating her anytime soon, but from a logical standpoint, Risako held an obvious advantage over her in this match. Well, there was only one thing to see if this girl was someone to not be trifled with or not. She would wait for the girl, Kodama Yuki, to enter the ring.

Before the match began, Risako listened to Kodama's words. Tilting her head, Risako gave her a look before saying, "Hello, Kodama-chan. Well, you can just call me Risako if you want. Whoever I am doesn't matter. Just give me your absolute best tonight." With that, Risako would get ready for the match, getting herself pumped up for the match between herself and this newcomer.

Soon, it was time to fight. Stepping forth, Risako would stand before Kodama, towering over her as she waited for the match to begin. Then, the bell was rung, and Risako would enter a stance, raising both her hands as she would take a moment to observe her opponent to see what she would do now that the match between them had started.

"Heh, sounds good! I was already planning on that," Kodama said. She noticed the size difference between herself and Risako, but Kodama wasn't horribly concerned with that. The shortstack was used to being smaller, so an opponent who happened to be a bit bigger than what she usually fought against felt all the same to her.

In fact, once the bell rung, Kodama thought that she had a way to use Risako's size against her. The Panther was standing tall with arms raised, meaning that their was a lot of space below to target. Risako's arms would take a moment longer to get down, and Kodama could use that moment to put the hurt on the purplette wrestler.

Kodama charged in, keeping herself from leaning forward or dropping her stride lower to avoid tipping Risako off to her plan. Once she got close, Kodama would drop lower than Risako could grab without bending or crouching, crossing her own arms in front of her to preemptively block a countering kick, and then twist around and unload her hips with a Keijo style Butt Strike. Kodama was actually too short to go for Risako's belly like normally, so instead she would try to take out her knee.

Keeping her eyes on Kodama, Risako tried to ascertain what her opponent was planning to do. When Kodama closed in, she was ready to grab her, but the smaller girl suddenly went for a hip attack right at her leg.

"Whoa!"

Thankfully, Risako was experienced enough that she managed to maintain her footing despite taking the hit right at her knee. She remained on her feet despite being shaken slightly, and in retaliation, she would try to grab Kodama and pull her up, hoping to ensure that she couldn't get away.

Kodama always knew the possibility that Risako wouldn't fall for her misdirection and manage to avoid or block the hip strike. But she never would've thought that the Panther, or any wrestler short of some gargantuan monster would be able to take such a hit from Kodama's mighty ass straight to their knee and be able to keep that leg solidly under their body.

But Risako did manage to do exactly that, leaving her in a perfect position to counter Kodama, who had her bac turned to the veteran as a result of her Keijo style attack. "Ah!" yelped the shortstack as she was lifted up. Not nearly strong or slippery enough to squirm free, Kodama would try to slam an elbow backwards into Risako's face once she was lifted high enough. Or at least the back of her fist if it looked like the Panther was going to strike before bringing Kodama that high up.

Risako tried lifting Kodama up, planning to throw her down, but before she could carry out her plan, she took an elbow right at the side of her face. "UGH!!" This forced her to let go of Kodama, dropping her as she staggered a few steps back. She winced, feeling sore on her cheek, though the damage wasn't really all that big. "Ow..." She rubbed her cheek before she tried to close in to Kodama once more, this time planning to yank her up before attempting to send her running towards the ropes with an Irish whip.

Kodama thankfully managed to get away from being caught, her elbow connecting hard enough with Risako's face to make the Panther let go. The shortstack did not have any plans to stick around. If Risako could tank Kodama's ass attack to her knee, the brunette doubted that the elbow would have actually hurt enough for her to be able to go back on the attack.

Kodama made a good call, as just after she escape close quarters with Risako, the purplette made an attempt at re-grabbing the shortstack which Kodama highly doubted she would have been able to pull another disappearing act on. The two wrestlers now stood at opposite sides of the ring. Kodama stood catching her breath, trying to calm down after such a chaotic opening to the match. Leaving her with the question of how she was going to deal damage to Risako.
