L.A.W. - League of Anime Wrestling

Match Type: Standard

Thunder Ryuko was pacing backstage deep in thought. She kept wrestling new women and while she was out to show LAW that she was still a top lady it seemed like they didn't see her that way. Tonight she was going to do all she could to change that. She was going to make them move her up on the card where she knew she deserved to be. However standing in her way was a fellow middleweight from the east. Ryuko was going to show everyone that the Thunder Empress was still a force.

Clad in her black one piece swimsuit with red lining and a white dragon outline on the side she came out into the arena looking quite confident. She walked down the ramp and knew she was going to put Yuki through hell. Ryuko wasn't going to let some newbie get in her way of her climb back up to the top. She was determined to occupy a place in LAW similar to what she had back in Wrestle Angels.

Ryuko slid into the ring underneath the bottom rope then stood tall holding a fist high as she walked around the ring before settling into her corner to await the arrival of her opponent. Ryuko was going to make this a very long night for Yuki, with none of it being personal simply business.

After Yuki's attitude shift, she rarely shown emotion to other people. For the most part, she tried to keep up her Winter Empress character backstage as well...but she swiftly realized how difficult it was without a physical mask. "Wearing" a character 24/7 was impossible without a few cracks here and there, which Yuki tried to make up for in interviews with insults, trying to draw attention away from awkward blushes...

...today was one of the most difficult days in that regard. Way too many workers around LAW arena noticed the blonde's blushes and smiles...and any time anyone mentioned them, Yuki had to act appalled, and turn her head dismissively away from whoever asked the question.

And the reason for that? She got to wrestle a former member of Wrestle Angels.

Yuki's been a wrestling fan as long as she could remember. Her earliest memory was watching matches with her parents. And she followed Wrestle Angels from her childhood years all the way to the promotion, unfortunately, closing down. She even had an autograph of Ryuko from early on in her career...not that her opponent tonight likely remembered that...

...and it was important for Yuki to remember that she had to view Ryuko the same way. Not as a wrestler she was a fan of, but as an equal. Otherwise, how else could the Winter Empress combat the Thunder Empress?

The lights dimmed, focusing on the entrance ramp, as fake snow started to fall around the top of it, as the figure cloaked in white stepped for all of LAW to see the Winter Empress make her way towards the ring, as Yuki lowered her hood to showcase her face, posing for LAW fans as she made her way down the ramp, eyes squarely focused on her opponent, with Yuki trying to contain her fangirl side within herself...though it still manifested as a light blush towards seeing Ryuko, angry and motivated, waiting for her.

Once she climbed onto the ring apron, Yuki wiped her boots on it in a villainous gesture, looking at the crowd with an air of superiority...before heading inside of the ring. Yuki was still a fresh prospect for LAW, and as such, the crowd that wasn't aware of her from her Spirit days still didn't quite know what to make of Yuki...but with this match, she hoped to prove herself to LAW fans, to get a reaction from them...cheers, boos...it didn't matter. What mattered was to be seen.

With her theme quieting down, Yuki entered the ring proper, her eyes not leaving Ryuko's as she took off and passed her cloak onto the ref, who, while displeased to have to handle wrestling attires, would pass it onto the ring crew outside the ring. Yuki herself would step up to Ryuko, measuring up to her bigger opponent as she looked at her with a serious and determined expression...before finally speaking:

"May the better Empress win..."

With that, she turned away from Ryuko, and got to her corner, ref nearby to ensure no foul play from the Winter Empress...but once it was clear nothing of the sort would occur, would proceed with final preparations before the match, Yuki doing final bit of stretching before the contest...

Ryuko just stared at Yuki silently. She stood with her hands on her hips. She wasn't impressed by the entrance or smugness. She was brand new. She had to earn an air of superiority as far as Ryuko was concerned.

"Oh I will, don't worry." Ryuko answered. She stepped out to the. Iddle of the ring as rhe bell rang and as Yuki faced her the thunder empress was ready rushing right at her arm extended to clothesline the new wreslter to thr mat!

Yuki smirked at Ryuko's comments, determined to make her idol eat those words.

With pleasantries out of the way, the bell would ring and match would get underway! The Thunder Empress would live up to her name as she exploded out of the corner, outstretching her arm to smash it straight into Yuki's head!

Yuki would dash towards the Wrestle Angel, dodging the Lariat to the side as she caught her rival's hand from mid-air, trying to bend it behind her back for a Hammerlock hold to punish her for rushing her attack!

Ryuko swung and missed, cursing as she felt her arm caught! "Ngh... damn!" Ryuko said as her arm was wrenched behind her leaving her stomping and shaking her head. Ryuko used her free arm to try to reach behind her and grab Yuki by the hair while kneeling down hoping to snapmare herself free from the hold she found herself in!
