A final Farewell - Hannah vs Daichi Kazura

The gym felt heavier today. The air, thick with the scent of sweat and effort, carried a weight that wasn’t there before. Hannah stood in the center, her eyes drifting over the walls covered in memories—posters, pictures, and scuff marks on the mat that told the stories of countless battles fought here. This was her home, the place she had built with her own hands. And now, she was leaving it behind.
She sighed, forcing herself to focus. This wasn’t just any day. This was her final match in Korea before she moved to be closer to LAW. The opportunity was too great to pass up, but the thought of leaving everything behind left a hollow feeling in her chest.
And now, as if to test her one last time, LAW had sent a representative to evaluate her skills. They might have already signed her, but they wanted to be sure—LAW didn’t take chances on just anyone. That alone was enough to push away the sadness, to ignite the fire within her. If they wanted a test, she’d give them one.
Hannah finished packing what little she had left in her office before stepping into the locker room, peeling off her casual clothes and replacing them with her wrestling gear. Tightening her gear to hug more on her curves, allowing for more mobility to come as she wants her last sendoff to be on a good note.
She moved onto the mat, starting her usual warm-up routine. Rolls, stretches, and footwork drills—everything to make sure she was in top condition. An hour passed, the rhythmic sounds of her body hitting the mat filling the gym. Just then the door of her gym creaked.
The door creaked open, followed by the sound of footsteps. At first, she thought it was just her opponent, but as she turned, she found something far greater. A crowd had begun to form. Students she had trained, fans who had followed her journey, friends who had supported her from the start. They had all come to watch her final match in Korea, a slight tear almost formed out of her eye but she sucked it up as she needed to be strong. She’d make her way to mat before taking a seat as she waits for her opponent to make their arrival.
