Ichika’s return was on a stellar path. Challenges were issued, rookies served with debuts, and legs hooked for the pins! LAW’s bustling events even outside the supercards were one the bluenette missed the most!! With LAW being as big as it is, there is no shortage of characters to make each night as surprising as the last. And now, she’s set to fight a card against a surprise opponent in a blind draw match! The blue upstart could hardly wait! There was no point in wondering who it might be! She’ll take their name and kick their ass nonetheless. But for now, she pulled her leg tights up, stretched her leotard in place, combed her bangs to the right position, and smirked smugly at her reflection in the mirror. “You got this!”

Lights then came blinding as she walked out her locker room door as crowds and journalists peppered the hallways now. One change in LAW that she found dubious at best given the dangers even wrestlers face in these halls. Is it policy? Or is her popularity coming back at her? There wasn’t much time to brew at the prospect as she then had to wade through the crowded hallways to make sure she was still on time.

Questions answered, even those a bit forward. Signed whatever was shoved close in her face. And struck poses despite the bright flashes! But soon enough, the horde thinned out, then blocked by a glass double door and two security standing on guard. Wrestlers only. And as she pushed the handle to get in, waved to those left and with a big, bright smile. “Watch me please and wish me good luck!”

Ichika sighed in both contentment and relief! It was amazing her fans still take interest in her despite her hiatus in the local scene! But personal space is still personal space, and fans could get lost in it sometimes in a commotion like that. A minor issue that was then put away with a shake of the head and jumps on the balls of her feet as she paced closer and closer to the gorilla position! None of those bother her when she’s in the ring after all!

WrESTlErS oNLy.

The two fans stuffed into a dark corner of the gorilla position knew lots of people who did what signs told them, and they were all fucking losers. Not like these two—anyone could tell from a glance that these two had precious little respect for limits, good judgment, or personal dignity.

The first fan — who was in front and closest to Ichika but still obscured in her far-left blindspot — had hair that was mostly almost identically blue to Ichika's. The "almost" is there because it was actually a few hues darker, and the "mostly" because the job had been juuuuuust a teents sloppy and left brunette roots visible along her scalp.

This "bluenette's" hair was not the only blue to her name. Her glasses, whose lenses were shaped like a pair of flames that together were as wide as her face, were likewise a deep shade of blue. Her shirt continued the theme, tie-dyed across the spectrum of whites and blues and blue-silvers, though this was but the background to the cartoon splashed across its surface: An anime dog with a huge, wet tongue and a pair of bright eyes caught mid-leap, soaring over flaming letters.

MIRKO!!!!

The fan was proud of this bit of merchandice. LAW didn't carry merch in tribute of Ichikia's beloved dog. This was a one-of-a-kind fanmade item purchase special for a special fan of a God damned EPIC wrestler.

Then there was the woman with two hands on her shoulders. She was short — five feet and a few inches at best — yet the pressure of her hands on her bluenette friend's shoulders seemed to be the only thing preventing the bluentte from popping out of her shoes and bouncing across the walls and ceilings. This pale anchor of a woman was more sensibly dressed than her friend, though she too bore the paraphernalia of a superfan. Her plaid skirt was crossed with shades of blue and silver, and she wore on her head an aqua-coloured lucha mask with a phoenix across the forehead and wrapping around so the burning eyes stared back towards the front from the temple. The words, in bold silver letters, read: BLUE FLAME. Below, a tucked shirt with a montage of Ichika poses and pin-ups, strewn about in a collage that centred around the ring, with Ichika standing triumphant in the middle, raising her fist and giving joy to the crowd.

"UHHHHHH—UHM. Uuuuuug," said the Bluenette.

Her friend rolled her eyes until she was staring straight at God above. "Keep droolin' like that Shizuka and I'll take you to the pound—."

"SHUT. UP. UHM...HEEEEY! ICHIKAAAAAA! PSSSST! Over here!"

The stage whisper was, perhaps, unnecessary, as the two fans were only a few feet behind Ichika. As their super star turned and graced them both with her gaze, the one with the blue hair started to shake. Her face was beet-red. She held up a framed pictured in her hands while her jaw hung open and made zombie noises.

"Uuuuuuh..."

“Ding-ding, stupid,” Hikari bonked Shizuki on the cranium with a closed hammerfist. “Act proper or she won’t do nuthin for us.” She turned to face Ichika, feeling her eyes biggen like she was staring into a real superhuman. An icon! The heroine of north America, now Japan! “H-Hey. H-Hi… Name’s Hikari and she’s Shizuka. Weee— are your number ones fans ok, and we’d really-really-really-REALLY love to show ya somethin’. It’s your first blue phoenix. Shiz—us, we’ll do anythin’ for a signing. Maybe even be your lumberjills to fight dirty tricks—Hiyah!” Hikari threw a pathetic jab, but kept it stiff after. “Hyuh!” Then she pulled it in and alternated the punch.
