Hi all.

The time has come for me to leave law and all things similar permanently. My activity here has cost me one of my most important relationships in my life, and whilst I've no confidence this can be repaired, I can prevent this happening in the future.

I'm sincerely sorry for all the threads I've been dragging, and will now no longer finish. Thank you all for everything.

This is very likely an extremely tough decision
Given how intertwined you are with LAW, I think this is the sort of decision that one would want to think on before pulling the trigger
But... it's hard for me to imagine that you haven't thought about this decision a fair amount beforehand
In which case, the point I just made is moot/irrelevant

I need to process this... It's really a shame, I love reading your threads.

I didn't expect to read this today or any other day for that matters.

But take care of yourself and stay safe.

Also one thing from someone who also destroyed a few relationships, thanks to...lets say tantrums to stay PG, nothing is destroyed forever. It takes time and a lot of work to repair what is broken, but one day it will get better again. Never give up on yourself.

For what it's worth, you're a very talented writer and you will be missed. Take care, friend. I hope things go the best they can for you. Your threads are a big part of the reason I joined here.

I'm very sorry to hear that you feel the need to go, but by all means, do whatever you need and take care of yourself. If you ever decide to come back, our doors are open.

Sad to hear a veteran leave but I imagine it wasn't an easy decision to make. I wish you the best and hope that you'll still swing by every now and then. :'(
