Daiya is ruthless in her drive for prestige and wealth. She enjoys wrestling but it's the money and fame it brings her that truly motivates her. Everything she does is to bring her closer to her goal of becoming a champion but her efforts are stymied by her impatience and her wealthy upbringing leaving her unable to endure true hardship.
While she plays up her proud demeanour for the crowd she is actually quite lacking in hubris. Daiya is well aware of her flaws and even if she can't overcome them she does her best to work around them, which makes her a bit more dangerous than a typical arrogant or delusional heel. It is very rare for her to underestimate a foe. If she does engage in taunting it's usually for the purpose of sapping confidence or riling up the crowd rather than real enmity.
Outside of the ring Daiya is more relaxed and personable. She is charming enough that she's been able to defuse quite a few tense situations her unscrupulous tactics have caused. This is helped by her rarely holding grudges and generally holding others to the same standards she holds herself to. She's never complained about others cheating and when she loses matches she can be quite gracious in defeat.
She will call you 'my dear girl' if she's annoyed with you and 'ma chérie' if she likes you.
Wrestling Information
Strategy: Daiya wrestles in a way that emphasizes her strengths and covers her weaknesses. She mitigates her fragility by wrestling as aggressively as possible to overwhelm them with her superior strength and technique. If things aren't going her way she has no qualms about breaking the rules to get match back under her control. Her idea of perfect match is one where the other wrestler doesn't get to land a single move.
Preferred Attacks: Uses power moves, submissions, smothering and cheating. A lot of her moves tend to have an element of restriction or enfeeblement to them so she can lower the risk of retaliation.
Preferred Matches: Daiya likes standard, submission, humiliation and smother matches. She dislikes hardcore, mud and mixed matches.
Attitude To Hentai: “I don't think you'll be disappointed if you meet me in the ring or the bedroom.”

Match Ending Moves
Signature Moves
Confinement: Grounded bearhug that uses her weight and strength to great effect. Dislodging Daiya is difficult and even if you can break the squeeze her advantageous position means she can potentially just move right on to smother or a bodypress. It is usually a turning point in the match when she locks this in due to how enervating it is.

Finishing Moves
Labyrinth Lock: Arm-trap stretch muffler. Her most dangerous move. Takes a bit to set up but once it's locked in it is extremely hard to escape from and offers practically no opportunities to strike out at Daiya. The move leaves one of her hands free to either put extra pressure on the leg or to get creative in hentai matches.

Past

Daiya's parents earned their wealth in the fashion industry. Martinet Couture's ostentatious style was very popular in the 80's and 90's but it's star faded when the rise of grunge and britpop and heroin chic changed the fashion scene to favour a more minimalist style that made Martinet Couture's clothing seem gaudy and passé. Fortunately by that time they had amassed enough wealth to transition into 'famous for being famous' type celebrities. Her siblings became models and reality TV stars, decadent disasters that were always in and out of rehab or causing the kind of scandals that only people who reads gossip magazines really care about.
Daiya on the other hand was blessed with physical strength and athletic ability in abundance. She flitted between body building and amateur wrestling before eventually settling on pro wrestling in her early 20s, travelling to Japan to earn a career there. Part of the reason she decided to pass over promotions that were much nearer and move half a world away was to get as much space between her and her family as possible. Her sisters were relentless in the mockery of Daiya's choice in career and their instability made being around them almost unbearable. Despite that Daiya still loved them and their scorn hurt her quite badly.
At first Daiya seemed unstoppable and was famous for her determination but as she climbed the ranks her limits and flaws came to the surface. She had a fair amount of victories, especially once she started adapting to her limitations, but she was never able to achieve the success she desired nor make the kind of money the other members of her family earned. The stress of failure changed her. Her drive for success became twisted. She began to believe her limitations were insurmountable and instead of trying to overcome flaws she started to just cheat to win instead. Instead of being determined to be the best wrestler she could be, she instead became obsessed with wealth and influence. She became convinced the only way for her to earn the respect of her sisters was to become a champion and the highest paid wrestler on the roster.
She bounced from promotion to promotion, her new driven and ruthless persona earning her a lot of new fans and even more new enemies. She achieved greater heights than she had reached before thanks to her underhanded tactics the ring and devious plotting backstage but even then the championship victory she so desperately craved eluded her. Eventually she caught the eye of L.A.W. management who offered her a contract. Daiya found herself fascinated by what the company has to offer and responded to their offer immediately, eager to finally realize her true potential.
