"Weighing in at one hundred and seventy-six pounds, one of our newest Lioness recruits — Yuri...Yoshikaaa!"

The stadium was dark in the moments anticipating the entrance of tonight's first Lioness. Her song centered a child's voice, singing non-lexical vocalizations over a sustained echo from a taiko drum. The traditional nature of the drum and the near-a capella nature of the choral music suggested a cool, historic mood with undercurrents of menace, like the ectoplasmic memories of a ghost streaming through the arena's vents.

Then, the electric guitar hit like a thunderbolt, and a woman appeared in a burst of spotlight. She wore a wrestling outfit that amalgamated many styles. At root, it was a mere jumpsuit, but it had been modified to suggest a variety of false pieces — a kimono sash at the waist created the illusion of a black robe with the high collar of a Chinese qipao, which all matching black pants with a slit cut down the side. What the audience would likely find most striking, however, was the gleaming noh-inspired white mask she wore, which reflected the light like a star.

Standing in her ring corner, Yuri took a deep breath and lifte both hands to her mask. It's just like jumping into a swimming pool, Yuri. With one stroke, she tore the mask of her face, allowing her rich purple hair to flow free behind her as the light illuminated her stoic face. She stared into the crowd, worked her last nerve to keep her face flat, and turned slowly, ghost-like, to face her opponent's ramp.

Bai Li was about to have another.... sexy match? "Oh no my bad side always take control when those happens!"... after a brief pause she finishes the preparations... and walks torwards the arena where it seems that her opponent already made the entrance!

"I must hurry! It's not nice to make her wait!... I hope i don't need to... use the Yang force... She said, maybe if the girl was nice Bai Li wouldn't need to get mad at the girl and the match could go in a nice way!

So Bai Li entered the arena with her usual balanced music!

And her usual black and white attire to show off her balance philosophy! Then she slided in to greet her opponent in a nice way... for now.
"Hi! I'm Bai Li! Hope we can have...a nice match.. Her tone dropped down a bit, because she didn't know if her opponent was a nice girl or not and the fear that she could face an heel girl and tap to her yang force went through Bai Li veins... in that force she is pretty unstable..

Black. White. Hm.

Yuri bit her fingernail, then caught herself and held both hands behind her back as she watched her opponent enter. This girl certainly...had a tendency towards duality, Yuri supposed. She looked as if some god had drawn a clever down her center—right down to the unsettling yin-yang eyes.

Hi! I'm Bai Li!

Yuri...nodded in response, bowing to the correct, polite angle appropriate to an equal. But she said nothing.

(The last time she had tried to say something during the opening minutes of an entrance, she had been so humiliated in a rap battle that it made it into some of the backpages of the next day's online Twitter buzz)

"Let's go " "Yuri," "LET'S GO!"

And...there were the other Dokis, lined up as ever at ringside.

"Let's go " "Yuri," "LET'S GO!"

Yuri breathed deeply. Centered herself. And waited for the bell.

DING DING DING!

"Oh not even saying hi.. " Bai li was a bit upset that the girl didn't even say hi, yes she bowed at least but... it was rather cold.. But the bell rang so she had to concentrate.

But she saw no movement from the opponent so she decided to walk closer to Yuri and attempt a quick kick to the gut that if hitted would follow with a suplex attempt! "Well if you are doing nothing i'll do!" Bai Li already didn't like this girl, so she won't go that easy on her but for now she was still nice...and.. vulnerable if Yuri was fast enough she could avoid that!

Natsuki and Monika had both impressed on Yuri the importance of speed. Get up off your ass and surprise them!

If they don't have time to react...then they won't react. And that's when you've got them!

But what they failed to understand was that Yuri was...slow. Her expansive body was possessed of a lugubrious spirit. Given what Yuri knew about herself, she preferred to play to her so-called strengths. Her inertia. Her body's immovability. And to instead react to her opponent—to be the Judoka water curling around the moves of her opposition.

With this plan in mind, Yuri offered her opponent a ready position, palm out, feet spread apart and at a steady, perpendicular angle. Her eyes lowered to Bai Li's. Come at me, she seemed to say, as her stomach turned.

Another match.

Bai Li's kick crumpled Yuri's gut. "Oof—" Her eyes popped wide as she doubled over, staggering as a wave of pain and nausea ran up her insides. She huddled over, clenching her belly just in time for Bai Li to grab the massive girl around her waist and lift her.

And over into a CRASH against the mat, where she lay twitching.

"Mmmmmf..." she breathed, as the other Dokis made a noise like a car rapidly decelerating, if that car was voice-acted by three small girls.

Another humiliation.

"Eh? She is already that damaged?" Bai Li didn't expect that one suplex could get her opponent down that easly, was she in a match with a jobber? She didn't go full strenght on this girl yet!

"Uhh...are you ok?" Bai li didn't know how to proceed, her opponent seemed weak or... was faking? A doubt came to her mind so she was a bit thinking and that left her really vulnerable..

She tried to pick Yuri up to attempt another suplex but this time she was doing it without thinking leaving too many openings even a beginner could see that!

"Get up Yuri!!"

The ever-helpful Natsuki. Yes, Yuri would have liked to get up, if her tummy hadn't been in such pain. Or if her head would stop spinning. What many people failed to understand was that a huge body presented a vulnerability to power moves such as a suplex; all that weight added extra momentum to the CRASH. Now her head felt like it had been scrunched into something half its normal size. Like a Loony Toon accordion.

She forced herself to her feet—just in time for Bai Li to grasp her around the waist again. Albeit, more slowly than before. Actually, it was an extraordinarily slow move, one that left her a wide-open slot in which to act. Why?

(Because she was just now verifying if you were OK)

Ah. It seemed perhaps rude to take advantage of another wrestler's concern.

"YURI!!!"

Ah. Fine. She felt Bai Li tensing for another suplex, and Yuri didn't particularly desire for another splat of her head against the mat. She grasped the woman's arm in her own and attempted to toss her over her shoulder in an armdrag!

"Woah! Ugh!" Bai li got too distracted because she thought it would be an easy match and got throwed with an armdrag down landing on her back..

"Ow ow.. guess i got too much distracted.." Bai li got up with her back towards Yuri so she wasn't seeing her at all!....so it would be very easy to execute any move on her as soon she turned around!

"Now it's my turn!" Bai Li said while turning around hoping to not get surprised this time!

Ker-PLUNK went the avatar of duality, after completing her gray arc over Yuri's head. "Huh." Yuri squinted. She'd expected something to go wrong.

"OK that's great Yuri!" The team president had her hands on the mat, her forehead almost touching the rope as she shuffled down ringside. Yuri wondered...if Monika touched the rope, could it get her disqualified? "Now hit her while she's down!"

Except...by the time Monika said this, Bai Li was back to her feet. Ah well, Yuri thought with a sigh. That just provided another opportunity to practice offense, she supposed. (Which was equally unlikely to succeed) whispered an inevitable drone, which Yuri shook off like a dog shaking bathwater.

She stepped towards Bai Li with her palms out, ready to grab her opponent's gear for another throw. This time, she mused, perhaps she would try something more advanced. Perhaps she'd grab Bai Li by her hips and lift her into a fireman's carry!

"Oh no! I was to slow! Let me down!!" Bai Li either underestimated her opponent or Yuri was strong, she didn't know now and was lifted up by the girl! She tried to struggle a bit but.. it was too sudden and late, this time she would go down again!

"I won't lose! get me down now!.... please?" Bai Li said trying to sweeten up her opponent? It seems that her nice side was really..... nice, too nice.
