Match Type: No-DQ "I Quit" Match Rules: Wrestlers can only be eliminated by saying "I quit." No disqualifications apply.
---
Just how did this happen?
When Misa Otomura had heard that Aaliyah Evans, her fellow ring announcer in LAW, was leaving the company, she thought her troubles were over. While the two women had never crossed paths in person all that much, she was well aware of the tension between them, with Aaliyah wasting no opportunities to snipe from behind her back over social media. But with Aaliyah out of the picture, it seemed that things were finally going to get back to normal. No more worrying about being shown up, or fears of sabotage. But things were far from over, and she had found that out the hard way when Aaliyah suddenly announced her return to LAW - this time, as a wrestler. And the first thing she did was to challenge Misa to a no-disqualifications "I Quit" match, all in the name of proving once and for all who was really on top.
Misa didn't know how in the world she was supposed to deal with this. Aaliyah might have been new to the ring, but Misa had no experience to speak of whatsoever! How was she supposed to even begin to stand a chance? She had gone to several authority figures backstage to see if there was some way this could be called off, but not so. It was well within Aaliyah's right to request anyone she wanted as an opponent - whether they were a wrestler or not. And even if she didn't want to do it...Misa knew all too well that if she didn't show up, it would just be a confirmation that she was too cowardly and meek to stand up to Aaliyah. That would've confirmed everything Aaliyah wanted to see - and no doubt it would leave her feeling all the more vindicated in everything she already thought of her rival. Misa didn't have much dignity left if she was doing this, but she had enough to know she couldn't afford to let that happen.
And now, with the match about to begin, Misa knew she had no other options. Biting at her lip and twiddling her fingertips, she fidgeted anxiously behind the curtains at the Gorilla position. The best she could hope for was that this would turn out to be some kind of joke...but she knew she'd be lucky if humiliation was all Aaliyah had in mind.
"Ladies and gentlemen, the following match is scheduled for one fall, and will be contended under no-DQ, I Quit rules! Coming first to the ring, from Osaka, Japan...at 5'6, weighing 120 pounds...our fellow ring announcer, making her wrestling debut tonight, MISA OTOMURA!!" Spoiler
As she stepped through the curtains, Misa held up her fist, putting on the best and proudest smile she could for the fans - but even that was visibly forced, straining hard against the anxiety creeping in from the back of her mind. She didn't have the time to get proper wrestling gear fitted, but she did have one of her old outfits from her idol days laying around - and it brought her some relief to find that even after all these years it still fit her fine. That plus some boots would fit the bill closely enough. Still, that was barely a saving grace when the odds were so stacked against her. She did hear some cheers for her, but it was little solace when she knew what she was up against. And as she made her way down to the ring, it wasn't hard to notice the nervous twitch in her eye or the chewing at her lip. She was over her head, and she knew it - she just hoped it would get over with fast...

Aaliyah Blackwell
Theme Song
Aaliyah checked herself out in the mirror as she just loved her wrestling attire. Everyone was quite shocked to learn that Aaliyah wanted to face Misa, a non-wrestler, of all people. Someone that she could probably out wrestle without any effort and pin in a matter of seconds making it look like squashing an ant, but Aaliyah has more in store for Misa. Misa wasn’t a prominent thorn in Aaliyah’s side, but she couldn’t stand a drunk person that wasn’t able to cure their addiction. Sure, she didn’t mind a few drinks herself, but that was her old vice life. Back when Aaliyah was a party girl on the run whose parents ended up in the slammer. The party girl that trusted Ana and became apart of Cyber Legacy. Now, a businesswoman among a merger from Hell and returning to LAW to unleash chaos.
Misa wasn’t a threat in the slightest and Aaliyah fully understands that she didn’t need to train too much to get over her. She really in it for the chance to prove herself superior to Misa and No DQ rules puts the idol at her mercy. What a way to feel powerful! Aaliyah would be called to gorilla and would put on a flashy purple robe along with her custom sunglasses flipping her hair back as she closed her locker room door behind her. She soon made her entrance to tons of boos as Aaliyah bowed blowing kisses to all her haters. She soon strutted down the ramp and walked up the steel steps before heading in-between the ropes. Aaliyah then went over to the nervous Misa and started circling her.
“Little Misa….its been two years since we last got acquainted….and you’re still a nervous drunk. Seriously, have you done anything with your life besides bumble your way out here and try to provide a nostalgia act? You’re truly pathetic and I don’t feel bad for you. When I make you scream, it’s going to be music to my ears. Ref, remove my robe please,” Aaliyah stated as the referee raised an eyebrow, but Aaliyah took off her glasses shooting a death glare at her which freaked the official out as she quickly untied Aaliyah’s robe taking it off and sending it outside.

The two competitors couldn't be any more different. While Misa was quaking with fear at the mere thought of being in a wrestling match with anyone, let alone Aaliyah, her opponent exuded confidence and control from the moment she stepped through the curtains. The flashy robe she wore spoke to that, and so did how flippantly she faced even the outpouring of jeers and boos from the fans, as though she wasn't even going to let herself be moved by what everyone here thought of her. For both women, this would be their first time wrestling in a LAW ring. But when one of them was flipping her hair and posing for photos, and the other was quaking in her boots and glancing over her shoulder for any escape routes, it was obvious who wanted to be here, and who didn't.
Yet for as nervous as Misa was already, her nerves shot through the roof as soon as Aaliyah looked her in the eye. When she started circling her, it only reminded the former idol of everything she was worried about - here, against Aaliyah, she was trapped; there was nowhere for her to run to, and Aaliyah had her completely cornered. She was in control; she alone decided whether or not Misa would be allowed to leave, and when. Even before she'd said a word, Misa's face was pale and the hairs were standing on the back of her neck. But when she did speak up, that was even worse.
"H-H-H-Hey, now," Misa stammered softly, "who said I was drunk now?" She knew how weak of a response that was - she hadn't even tried to deny the "nervous" part, but then, that should've been visible to anyone with eyes - but in the moment, that was the only thing she could think of. But when Aaliyah promised to make her scream, she sucked down a gulp. And when she took off her glasses, the look that she sent Misa shook her right to the core. But it was only when she doffed her robe that Misa could truly feel her heart drop in her chest. That was when she knew, yes, this was really happening. A part of her had been holding out hope that this would all turn out to be some sick joke...but here it was, and she had to live it.
*DING DING DING*
There was it; there was the bell. The match had officially started now - and Misa realized she had no idea what she was supposed to do! No amount of training could have prepared her for this, and she didn't have any training anyway! All she could do was go off her impulses, and all her impulses were telling her to turn and run away. But that wasn't an option! Misa had no choice but to stand and fight. Her heart raced in her chest and her breaths quickened into frantic pants. And then, in a spur-of-the-moment decision, her hand cracked out with a slap aimed right at Aaliyah's cheek! Almost immediately after, her eyes squeezed shut and her teeth clenched in a wince. It probably wasn't going to end well for her - but it was the only thing she could think to do!

The dinner bell had just rung and Aaliyah was gearing up for probably the easiest debut she had ever participated in. While her true debut was on the indies, Aaliyah had never competed in a LAW ring before tonight. Aaliyah got to choose who she wanted to face and it just so happened that Misa was fresh meat so she had to at least stick her nose into the former idol’s business when she eventually got back. Misa even attempted trash talk, but Aaliyah just laughed hauntingly as she covered her mouth not containing her giggles. It was truly pathetic and amusing to see Misa try her hardest and yet fail miserably to the depths of drainpipes.
Misa went for her first move which was a hard slap across the face and Aaliyah took it barely even flinching. However, she fell down on her back to the surprise of the crowd! Was it really that effective? Did Misa just knock out Aaliyah in one move? It was all of a sudden that Aaliyah started acting out and sputtering and rolling around the ring clearly mocking Misa. She stood up only to fall down as this clown show got boos to be poured down on her. That slap barely could hurt a fly and Aaliyah was just clearly overselling this!

It had been little more than an act of desperation. Misa was panicked - she knew she had been backed into the corner, and Aaliyah was promising to bring her perhaps the most painful and humiliating experience of her life so far. And that, Misa had to admit, was saying something. As her heart raced in her chest and her thoughts spun out of control searching for an answer, Misa was all but paralyzed. And when she finally did make her move, she swung out with the first thing that came to her mind...a less than impressive slap against Aaliyah's cheek.
It was so impulsive that by the time that Misa could fully process what she'd done, Aaliyah's head had gone cracking to the side - and the color drained away from her face as she clasped her hand to her mouth, aghast. Now she was sure she had only gotten herself into an even bigger predicament! Now she had embarrassed herself in front of the world by showing just how pitiful her attempts to fight back really were. And Aaliyah, no doubt, was only going to bring hell upon her!
...At least, that was what she thought. Instead, though, Aaliyah dropped to her back and started flailing around, like she'd been hit by a truck more so than a pitiful smack. For a moment, Misa stared down speechless, blinking a few times. Had that...really been enough? Had Aaliyah just been talking big this whole time?
She wanted to believe that, at least, but when Aaliyah got up and fell back down, it became all too clear that this was all an act. Aaliyah was mocking her! Misa let out a huff, and her face went from a pale white of shock to a red of frustration as her eyes narrowed in a glare. "Stop...stop it! It's not funny..!" Gritting her teeth, she stomped her foot down as hard as she could, trying to pin Aaliyah in place against the canvas.

Aaliyah smirked mischievously as Misa’s boot came right towards her stomach, but Aaliyah easily grabbed it quickly and countered with a leg screw takedown. Aaliyah then got up with one of Misa’s legs in her grasp as the crowd rained down boos on her. The former manager started laying stiff kicks into Misa’s leg to add on the pain. Misa most likely didn’t train or work out to have durable muscle behind her calves so this meant these kicks would feel like being ran over back and forth by truck tires. Aaliyah could really end this match anytime she wanted!
However, Aaliyah went outside the ring going under the ring and lifting the apron covering up. She brought out a kendo stick rolling back in with it as she shoved Misa over on her stomach twirling her weapon! Aaliyah rained down shot after shot with the thick weapon on Misa’s back as the poor idol didn’t stand a chance!

Just what was Misa supposed to do here? She didn't know the first thing about wrestling - hell, she barely even knew how to take a fall, and now she was expected to hold her own against Aaliyah? All she could do was to flail around blindly with the first things that came to mind, as she tried to stomp her foot down on her opponent. The whole time, her teeth were clenched and her eyelid twitched nervously. She didn't even know if this was going to work, but it seemed like it might, at least. But Misa could only get so far when she had to rely on improvising - and Aaliyah would soon make that abundantly clear, as she grabbed Misa by the leg and swept her off her feet.
"Y-Yipe..!!" The moment she felt Aaliyah's hand on her ankle, Misa's heart jumped in her chest - and it was only getting worse from there. Misa yelped as she crashed down on her back, her face contorting in a wince. The canvas shook underneath her weight, and it stung far more than she had anticipated - how did wrestlers take bumps like these so often, she thought? Still reeling from the pain of the landing, she didn't even notice that Aaliyah was still holding onto her leg. At least, not until it was too late - because she would receive a stern reminder when Aaliyah started kicking again and again at her calves!
"GAAH-!!" With every blow, the pain erupted through her leg like a thunderclap. She tried to roll back and forth - as much a result of her reeling from the impact as it was from her trying to dodge - but with Aaliyah holding fast, she had nowhere to run to! When Aaliyah finally released her leg, Misa lay there panting and gasping, holding onto her leg and rubbing it to try to dull the aches as she gasped for breath. She knew, going into this match, that this was going to hurt - but she hadn't counted on it being quite this bad.
Distracted as she was by the pain, Misa didn't realize that Aaliyah was leaving the ring. Eventually, she managed to catch her breath - only to look up and see that Aaliyah was gaining on her, kendo stick in hand! Even before any blows had landed, she let out a scream in panic. But she couldn't save herself from being rolled over on her stomach - and from there, Aaliyah began to rain down all over her back with hard-hitting blows!
Misa's face contorted in agony as tears budded in her eyes. She thought that Aaliyah's kicks were bad enough - but this time, every time the kendo stick came down, it felt like the crack of a whip, leaving stinging red welts across her back! She sank back down onto her face, gasping and panting, only to seize up a moment later, when the stick came down again, sending her legs kicking into the air. For a moment, she asked herself how Aaliyah was getting away with this. But she already knew the truth - this was a no-DQ match, and nothing could stop her from bringing a weapon in!
At last, Misa had to swallow the truth. The only one who could save her now was herself. She had to move! Sucking in a deep breath, she at last lifted her head higher and reached out in front of her, stretching her arm as far as it could go. There, she tried to grab at the mat and pull herself further, where she might be able to roll out of the way of Aaliyah's blows. It was her only hope!

Aaliyah was loving every minute of this! This was a high she could get used to as she didn’t do very many hardcore matches and the ones she did were against more experienced veterans that had years of experience on her. That’s why she wanted this stipulation so Aaliyah had the upper hand for a change and against someone with no prior wrestling background. Just bumbling around on the stage and drinking her soul to smithereens. Aaliyah found out that Misa was trying to roll away as fast as she could, but the former manager persued her prey!
Aaliyah grabbed the orange locks of her opponent yanking her back to the middle as the crowd booed her plentiful. This was totally unfair, but no one could do anything about it since no rules had to enforced. Just the referee checking to see if either one of these ladies uttered the magical words to end this match. Aaliyah had a cruel smile run across her lips as she slung her weapon over her shoulder and tried dogwalking Misa around the ring using the former idol’s hair as a leash and even hit a few kicks to Misa’s ass for extra humiliation!

Misa tried desperately to pull herself across the mat, hoping to get herself free - but it was hopeless. Any relief she might have won proved short-lived when her opponent proceeded to grab onto her hair and gave it a firm yank. At once, a burning pain shot through the ring announcer's scalp, and she doubled over forward, her teeth clenched in a pained grimace and her hands shooting to cup at the back of her head in an attempt to nurse the aches. It might have been a technique that wasn't unheard of in the squared circle, even if it was frowned upon - but when Misa had no such experience, she couldn't hope to defend herself against it! "O-Owww..!" she moaned, tears of pain starting to bubble up in the corners of her eyes.
That wouldn't be the worst of it, though. Aaliyah was about to demonstrate that she was just as willing to add insult to injury, as she began to yank Misa around the ring! At first, as she felt herself being yanked forward, Misa wasn't prepared for it - she cried out with "H-Hey, where are you taking me-!?" before the pain in her scalp, combined with that of her knees rubbing against the canvas, caused her words to be silenced in a hiss. With Aaliyah walking away, Misa had no choice but to go stumbling after her, walking on all fours like a dog. She was all too aware of what was happening to her, and what a degrading position she'd found herself in. Her cheeks burned with embarrassment, and she tried to squeeze her eyes shut to distract herself from the knowledge of how many people could see her now, in one of her lowest moments to date. But she wouldn't even have that. She was swiftly reminded of reality when Aaliyah smacked the stick across her behind, and the shock of pain that went through her made her let out a gasp as her hips jumped into the air! "Ow, owow-!!"
Aaliyah's treatment of Misa had caused some fans in the crowd to boo, but Misa's reaction still garnered a few laughs and wolf-whistles, all of which made her face flush hotter. For a moment she asked herself how many of the people could see up her skirt when she was folded over like this, but she had to shake that thought out of her head - this was embarrassing enough already! Misa looked back at her opponent through one eye, the other squeezed shut as her body stiffened from the pain. But, as she drew in a breath, she told herself she couldn't let this slide. No, she had to fight back! Being in this match at all was humiliating enough - she needed to show she at least wouldn't roll over and take something like this!
Just then, Misa reached out to try and grab onto Aaliyah's ankle, hoping that she could pull on it hard enough to throw her off-balance and make her fall to her back! It was the only thing she could think to do right now - but it was better than nothing!

The grandest thing for Aaliyah to do in this match is finally bring Misa down to her knees where she belonged and that was made true as Aaliyah treated her like the dog she was. Nah, like the bitch the former disgraceful idol was. Aaliyah had waited and waited for this day to come and it was adding more pressure behind Misa, because this wasn't a simple promo or backstage assault. It was a damn match where Misa could barely apply any holds let alone try to outwrestle Aaliyah, who had way more experience wrestling than Misa has in her ring announcing career. Aaliyah trained with Ana and Thereisa back in her manager days with Cyber Legacy and her husband and new clients helped further her training even getting her on the independent circuit where Aaliyah tried her luck in the ring whether she had to cheat or suffered agonizing defeat against veterans.
However, for as inexperienced as Misa was, she was still desperate enough to pull out all the stops and Aaliyah wasn't ready when Misa pulled at her ankles. Aaliyah gasped and grunted as she was tripped letting go of the idol's hair and ending her humiliating dog walk. Aaliyah had not planned for this and it looked like Misa was about to go on the warpath.
