L.A.W. - League of Anime Wrestling

As Navi started to once again receive matches during her "break" from wrestling after We Are LAW, she received an invitation to a peculiar event LAW was holding. On the outside, it seemed like a standard affair...with the obvious caveats of no ropes and no pins, matches ending only once someone was knocked out or submitted, with the intent to make the event less about wrestling...and more about fighting.

Considering she wanted to take up as many opportunities as she could to vent her frustrations over the beginning of her 2018, she immidiately said yes to the idea...

...and when LAW reached back to her, she received 2 big surprised for herself.

Not only was she main eventing the Bloodsport event, but she was also doing so against the debuting Amy "Lion" Evans...debuting in LAW, at least.

It was hard not to hear about the notorious blonde wrestler nowadays (hell, she even crossed paths with her on an occasion in a gym belonging to a different company), especially considering her infamous ruthlessness and love of fighting...they couldn't have found her a better opponent for the show tonight...

She got ready, dressed in her usual attire, her green sports skirt and green top...but not her red boots. To make it more "authentic" she was requested not to wear shoes to the ring...

Following the request, she left for the arena, to slay the Lioness standing in her way...

As she entered to her theme song, it followed with the usual chorus of boos, the crowd still being sour over the blonde's actions at We Are LAW. Flipping off the crowd with both hands and a massive grin on her face, she swiftly made her way down towards the ropeless ring...and almost rolled underneath the non-existant bottom rope on instinct...working in a ring like that would play with her usual wrestler insticts quite a lot, the blonde thought...

Standing on the platform, Navi would chuckle as the crowd started singing: "You Suck!" in rhythm with her theme. She quietly stood on the further edge of the ring, practically inviting the woman debuting tonight to enter the arena, the ring...and face her...

Redemption stories sucked. Thats how Amy felt about them anyway. The person looking for redemption either didnt do all that much that she felt they needed to be redeemed, or they had done too much that the idea of redemption was laughable. So naturally she ended up in one. Working in other promotions Amy sated her desires for fighting and domination without a care in the world sure fans may have disapproved but others were just as eager, who cared how they judged her. Sometimes the look of horror or shock they gave her made her smile, it felt good to be respected. It felt good to be tough as hell.

And then her friends and family started looking at her like that....that wasnt fun, nor did it feel good, in fact after awhile she realized that her life outside of a match was rather dull when no one wanted to be around you, she was alive for an hour on average a week and practically dead to the world the other 167 hours that week and after awhile she decided that the difference wasnt worth it. Of course just because she wanted to be different doesn't mean the world was going to forget, hence why when she signed to LAW and offered to be apart of anything, the general idea was to broaden her horizon...instead they put her in the main event of bloodsport...where she could guess exactly what they wanted her to do in that match to a crowd that might not exactly be kind to her.

Still a match was a match and any of the concerns she might have had were gone as she marched down the ramp dressed up in her Lion getup. The ovation was mostly positive, and increased when suddenly she let out another trademark roar before crawling down to the ring. Not everything about her had to change...and the get up was too much damn fun. Finally taking off her wig and claws she entered the ring feeling the odd and cold mat on her bare feet while she did so and looked at Navi..a girl shed seen plenty and wanted nothing to do with...mostly cause she heard she was handful and Amy already had enough of those. "Hey."

Navi couldn't help but crank the first, honest to goodness smile in 2018. A brutal, no holds barred affair, where she needn't hold back, against the opponent known, feared and respected for her ruthlessness. If there was one thing that was going to get her mind off of people judging her for what she had done in January, and her strained relationships with her best friend, it was fighting against Amy...and, potentially, beating the woman to prove that she was just as, if not more than, powerful and brutal than her.

Upon entering in her entrance gear, and letting out a roar that got quite a pop from the crowd for the debuting woman, Amy left her wig and claws outside the ring, before entering, and greeting her fellow blonde with a dry greeting.

"Hello...heh, if I wasn't about to beat the hell out of you, I might've said it's an honor for me to greet you here...", she would say to Amy, nodding at the ref from the edge of the ring that she was ready to begin...

"It cant be an honor to meet another fighter? Even if you are about to beat them? Somehow i find that hard to believe." Amy said slightly kicking herself for the way she worded that. Great start to this whole thing really. She figured she needed to start over as she offered a hand out for Navi to shake. Its not like the event meant she couldn't respect her opponent or show some respect. At least that was her logic, she could always beat down anyone no matter how much she respected them, in fact she felt it was more disrespectful not to give it her all, even if she did like them..at leasts thats what she told herself.

"Lets..do our best then." Amy added equally deadpan while waiting to see if Navi accpeted. Wither way she would eventually back up to her corner and wait for the bell to start the main event of this little card. Her feeling the smooth mat as she brought her hands together and crocked her knuckles staring down at her opponent for the night. "Please dont let this girl bleed easy. Tell me she knows what shes doing in this ring.."

Navi shrugged: "Noticed in the last few months that it was hard to feel anything resembling "honor" towards someone I am about to beat to a bloody pulp...", she replied, in a slightly bored tone, wearing a smirk on her face.

To her surprise...Amy actually stepped to the middle of the ring, offering her a hand! This wasn't something she expected from someone of the Lion's infamy...unless it was simply a trap, meant for a cheap shot from her fellow blonde. Navi simply stood, glaring into Amy's eyes with her hands in the air, to show that she wouldn't honor Amy's show of sportsmanship.

Once Amy got back to her corner, the ref would check whether both women were ready to start the fight. And once she got a confirming nod from Navi and Amy:

DING DING DING!

With the contest now officially underway, Navi would try to quickly close the distance between herself and the Lion. If Amy opted to do the same, to quickly close the distance between the 2 combatants to meet in the middle of the ring, Navi would opt to skip the usual wrestling pleasantries for this contest, opting to go not for a collar and elbow tie up, not for a test of strength, but for a hard right hook straight into her foe's jaw!

"Again, there a fighter. There entire honor system is on that." She had no idea why she was arguing this, maybe because she did feel honor in the girls she beat to a bloody pulp...well if they fought back anyway. If they screamed and cried a whole lot it was a sure way to piss the blonde off. Another way to piss her off was to not treat her with respect she felt she was owed. This girl looked at her hand like it was a foreign artifact and outright didnt shake it, even seeming to be proud of the fact that she didnt touch it.

Fairs fair, Amy hadn't exactly made a history of being nice or polite but she figured since the match hadn't started yet she didnt see the point in doing so....unless this bitch actually thought she was cheap enough to go for a cheap shot before the match started...Which the thought made Amy's face flare up and her eye twitch. She had a reputation but she always made sure to kick her opponents ass fair and square, if she beat someone down it was because she had beat them in the match not cause of a cheap shot. As Amy backed up her mind was already made up and when the bell rang Amy charged at Navi! "Disrespectful Punk!" The blonde shouted bringing her arm up and charging straight in for a clothesline as she tried to knock her opponent straight down.

Amy wouldn't have the same idea as Navi to start the context, instead, rushing right out of the gate, and taking the French blonde to the mat with a hard clothesline to her face!

"AAAAGH!", she grunted, landing on her stomach as the force of the clothesline practically flipped her inside out...before she attempted to shake off the daze from the attack and tried to get back up to her feet. Was the Lion seriously so salty over being denied a handshake?

Whatever it was, Navi was pissed. She growled as she got back up, despite the stinging pain at her head and stomach. If that's how she wanted to play, she was happy to oblige the woman.

Amy would likely turn around to face her before she would even make it back up to her feet. In that case, Navi would pay back in kind for the clothesline, hoping to land a hard uppercut to Lion's jaw...unless Amy would react first!

Knocking her to the floor in one fell swoop Amy had the satisfying feeling of making Navi spin in the air and hit the floor down on her front rather then her back. A showing of her power. It was clear this girl didnt care for any effort she made to be nice so Amy was better off dealing with her and moving on. Afterall she still wanted to win her matches, she just had to be careful on how far she went so as not to continue looking like the same old brute people accused her of still being.

"Well I cant imagine that was pleasant. But at least you cant say you flew for a bit." The blonde said moving towards the girl as she went to grab her and pull her back up, though as she was Navi came up and went for a fierce uppercut to her chin. "Caagh!" Thankfully she didnt bite her tounge but her chin still came up and an odd clicking noise could be heard as her head shot up in surprise as she was knocked backwards in surprise.

Despite her foe's clothesline flipping her inside out, Navi managed to fight through the pain in her head, landing a hard uppercut to Amy's chin! Successfully driving the woman back, Navi knew she couldn't let her get any opportunities to rush her like she did now. Her fellow blonde was a brawler, first and foremost, from what she saw of her before. As a result, it was important to keep her pinned to the ground, to a position that would take away the most powerful moves in her arsenal.

Navi would quickly close the distance between her and the Lion, with her first order of business being actually getting the woman to the ground. Attempting to land a swift hit to her stomach, the French blonde was looking to trap her opponent's head in a front facelock and grabbed a handful of her attire, attempting to lift the woman up into the air, and slam her, back first against the canvas, with a Suplex on the heavyweight!
