Katherine Scarlett Arrested
As a result of the aftermath of the Apex Qualifying match between Alice Gaster and Stephanie "Baroness" Renaud, after the match was over, Stephanie Renaud was viciously attacked by "The Drifter" Katherine Scarlett, after the match had already concluded! On December 24th, Stephanie Renaud has chosen to officially press charges against Ms. Scarlett,
Although the occurrence is common in LAW, rarely does it ever go beyond the confides of the ring, and into judicial procedures. When reached to comment on the matter, Stephanie Renaud would say:
”It is a known fact that Drifter is a very dangerous striker. It is one thing to put someone in a sleeperhold, or perform a slam, but these are people who have control. Yes, they mean ill will, but they are merely teaching hard lessons... however, Drifter has no control over the strength of her hits, nor does she intend to control it. Her intent was beyond ill will, she meant to destroy! There is a code in wrestling... a line that you do not cross. Katherine Scarlett crossed that line, and she must be taught a lesson.”
Although papers were submitted to formally sue Katherine Scarlett, a Canadian native, Baroness offered to settle the matter with LAW and courts herself. Rumor has it that settlement has gone through, and Ms. Scarlett wouldn't have to serve any time. The amount in the settlement was not clarified.
