L.A.W. - League of Anime Wrestling

It has been a little more than a week since Eleanor landed in Japan. Before she actively participated in L.A.W.'s Young Lioness Program, the French-Canadian fighter spent her first few days in the country to settle. After all, being in a foreign nation can be quite intimidating. Especially if one is unfamiliar with their surroundings and have plans to stay there for awhile. In which case, this was a situation Eleanor is currently in. Fortunately enough, she flew to the country prepared. Thanks to her contact within the wrestling organization, she managed to arrange a place for herself to stay in. All the expenses, so far, has been covered by L.A.W. All she has to do, really, is to learn and speak Japanese. As well as fulfill her part as a new addition to the Young Lioness Program.

After finishing a training session that lasted for about three hours, Eleanor says her thanks and goodbyes to her "senpais". Shortly searching for a spot in the gym to rest and catch her breath. Today was harder than usual and Eleanor gets this feeling that the Young Lioness Program's training will only increase in intensity overtime. She could already observe some of her classmates struggling to keep up with the program. But unlike most of them, Eleanor already has some experience in this type of profession. Eleanor knew what it takes to become a fighter. It is only a matter of time before she gets in the ring and debuts. First impressions are important and the ambitious lioness has no plans to ruin it.

Finding a workout bench in one corner of the gym, Eleanor takes it as a seat so that she can catch her breath and drink some water. It seems the gym is occupied by other members of the organization so she scouts her competition. Using that "eagle eye" of hers to observe what each fighter is capable. That way, Eleanor would have an idea on what to expect in the future. Especially when starts fighting in the ring where hundreds, if not thousands, will watch her. Being under the eyes of many, that only motivates her to strive for greatness.

While Eleanor was taking a moment to catch her breath and hydrate herself after an intense exercise, courtesy of the Young Lioness Program, she notices a new soul enter the facility. Another wrestler, it seems. And this newcomer just so happens to park himself at a station close to where she was currently. She just watched the man exercise, admiring his physique. She debated whether or not to talk to him but wanting to meet new people, Eleanor decided to do so.

Standing up from the bench she occupied for the duration of her after-training break, she wanders over to Kelani. Waving towards him to try and get his attention.

"Bonjour~" She greets, her French accent failing to hide behind her speech. "My name is Eleanor. Out of curiosity, do you happen to be a part of the male branch of the program? The Young Lioness, the Young Lion Program?" A question follows after her brief introduction.

The French-Canadian fighter lets out a soft chuckle. Tilting her head a bit to the side as she looks at the man before her. From all the sweat on her body, Kelani could tell that she had just finished a workout. Unlike him who had just started after entering the gym.

"Ahhhh... I see, I see. Then are you a registered wrestler for L.A.W. already?" She asks to confirm.

In truth, Eleanor thought that Alex was a fellow trainee. He looked inexperienced but this just brings up a case of "not judging the book by its cover".

"Alex... Nice to meet you, Alex~" She nods her head. Letting her arms rest on her hips as she continues speaking to the man. "So how long have you been a part of this organization? I actually just joined the Young Lioness Program a week back. Just started training actually. Apologies if I do not come out smelling nice." The woman laughs, half embarrassed. But despite the mention of having a bad scent, Eleanor smelled nice. Like perfume.

Seeing Alex's hand reaching out for a handshake, Eleanor would take it and accept the offered handshake.

"Oh? You too? I see, I see. Though I'm quite surprised to hear that you are not a part of the Young Lion program. I was under the impression that every rookie is to join it. Then again, it is likely that a lot of newcomers to L.A.W. are already experienced in this field of work. Have you been a wrestler or fighter for some time now?" Eleanor asks to satisfy her curiosity.

So far, Eleanor has been wandering around and meeting new people. She has yet to have an official match. It always training and a couple of spars. The experience was enjoyable and Eleanor was glad she decided to join the ranks of L.A.W. It was all a part of her plan after all.
