Hushed murmurs reverberated throughout the cruise ship's deck. The PPV was about to start yet the event would not be opened by a wrestling match. A smug, self-satisfied smirk adorned Emaline's face as she strutted down the ramp with a microphone in hand. The Emerald Enclave accompanied her yet her theme music was strangely absent. Like always, she wore her vibrant lime green two-piece outfit. Both Yoro and Shira were dressed in their wrestling attires.
The Emerald Viper clambered up the ring apron and lazed onto the top ropes. From there, she lethargically yet elegantly backflipped into the ring. Glancing around the ship, she fully took in the weight of countless eyes staring at her. So light. She couldn't help thinking to herself. How small each and every one of them are. And yet they dare to cast accusatory gazes at me. None of her thoughts manifested physically; her expression remained serene and dignified.
She smiled to herself. She already knew that by the end of her first song, she would have the audience cheering for one of the most reviled wrestlers in LAW.

Emaline cast one last cursory glance over the suspicious crowd before she closed her eyes and brought the microphone close to her lips. At her wordless signal, music started playing through the speakers.
(Author's note: Emaline sings in Japanese but the lyrics below have been translated into English for convenience)
"~Street lights fade, tempted by the lonely niiiiiiight~" An angel's voice accompanied the music, Emaline's, her head bobbing lightly to the beat of the music.
"~In the glare of noisy days, acting my today
Blinded by yearning and curiosity, eyes blur
Leaving behind my boring life and uncomfortable days~"
Emaline opened her eyes and smiled warmly.
"The night town dances"
She started slowly pacing around the ring, looking over the now silent audience. Much to her amusement, she noticed that many were entranced by her performance.
"~Chronically frigid, inexperienced, let's get out of this city
A mirror and its remnant, still innocent~"
She paused at the centre of the ring and spread open her free hand. Yoro and Shira subtly took positions behind Emaline.
"~Said goodbye, and laughed at myself
That’s fine since the last train stopped~"
Suddenly, both girls grabbed their friend by the legs and gradually lifted her up, their pace matching the tune of the song.
"~This dream I’ve forgotten someday
Fades into the everyday fantasies~"
"~Neon drinks up the night, becomes an empty can of bitterness
Dust of inferiority, coldly burns one's heart
Vomited the loneliness aloneee~"
The Viper raised her open palm into the air, as if she were offering a gift to the heavens. At the same time, she planted her feet on Shira's and Yoro's shoulders and used them as her own personal platform.
"~Glaring city lights keeps changing its color
Despising, alone in a room
Hollow light passed though and became a shadowww.~"
Emaline closed her eyes and held the microphone with both hands.
