Never Give Up: Katherine Scarlett 'The Drifter' Vs CyberWidow
Standard Match
Win By Pinfall, or Submission
Thereisa is backstage taking a deep breath looking at herself backstage. Wearing her new outfit that she picked up for that store after dealing with Kyoko, but even she has to admit that the woman running the place knows what she talking about when it comes to gear and such. Pulling down on her top so that her breasts are covered fully since tonight match up is against a very strong striker like fighter, so she must be at the top of her game tonight as always.
Eyes focused as her music plays over the speakers the screaming matches her entrance as she comes out with her hood down. Cheering erupts as the crowd get the glimpse of her new wrestling gear and others take photos seeing how well toned she still is even through she is 48 year's old. Making her way down to the ring and sliding underneath the ropes deciding to do some more stretches to keep herself loose and ready for the match up.
"Come on let's see what you got Drifter come into my web and see if you can survive..."

Re: Never Give Up: Katherine Scarlett 'The Drifter' Vs CyberWidow
Not long after Cyber Widow made her entrance, Drifter's theme music began to explode on the PA system at high volume. Ever since the We Are LAW PPV, it seemed Drifter was making significant gains in popularity! The crowd began to cheer loudly for the lightweight wrestler who had become famous for many upsets against Heavyweight wrestlers! Slowly, a pickup truck began to drive across the entrance platform, with Drifter sitting upon the edge of the back in her usual attire and duffle coat. Picking up a rucksack she hopped from the back and thanked the driver before he went off, an entrance gimmick that made it looked like she hitchhiked here.
She began to make her way down to the ramp, tagging fans hands and getting a massive cheer. It did not take long before she was in the ring, as she tossed her rucksack by the steel stairs and took off her coat, revealing a grey sports bra and jeans outfit with a red and black flannel shirt tied loosely around her hips. She took off her sneakers to go barefoot before she entered into the ring. She quickly climbed one of the turnbuckles, throwing up her arms as the fans began to chant for her. After taking a moment she hopped down and entered the ring, coming to meet Cyber Widow.
"Oh wow... Management must think I'm something to be throwing me against you this early. They have no idea how much you're gonna' kick my ass do they?" Kay mentioned with a smile. Kay had no doubts in her abilities, she was a strong fighter for her size and weight class, that much was clear by the victories she had picked up in recent shows. However, even she knew she was not ready for Cyber Widow... at least not yet anyway. Still, it was her intent to give a good showing tonight and make sure the heavyweight legend didn't just completely roll over her.
"I'm Kay. It's nice to meet you! Hope I impress you tonight. I know you're kind of a big deal." Kay mentioned, offering a fist bump towards the more experienced Cyber Widow before they would begin things.

Re: Never Give Up: Katherine Scarlett 'The Drifter' Vs CyberWidow
Thereisa is unimpressed at what she sees. Her opponent enters on a pickup truck before hopping off looking like a honest to god hobo, but as soon on the woman makes her way into the ring her face changes and Thereisa knows she is going to be in for a fight tonight. But sadly her luck is going to come to a end but she give the woman a nod of credit by defeating some heavyweight's... even through those heavyweight's are jokes compared to her but her opponent will learn.
They know how much since I put a hit out on all you lightweights... If you want to blame somebody blame that champion of your weight class." she say's in her blunt tone figure to not sugar coat it she is going to hurt Drifter and enjoy doing it as well. Her arms crossed seeing the woman holding her fist out to bump fists, but she doesn't and gives the woman a blank stare. "Your nothing special so don't let it get to your head that you think you are... If you want to impress me then Try not to surrender or break when I put you in as many submission holds as I can.""
She tells Kay before in one quick motion to start off the match. Lunching a round house kick right at her opponent face. The bell rings in the background as the match is underway with a bang.

Re: Never Give Up: Katherine Scarlett 'The Drifter' Vs CyberWidow
"I never said I was anything special." Kay replied, realising the serious manner of her opponent tonight. She lowered her fist with an expression of disappointment when she realised Cyer Widow was not going to meet it. Instead she took a little step back and began to bang her fists together, knowing well that the match would begin any moment. She looked Cyber Widow up and down, a little taken aback by her new attire, given it left much of her surprisingly well built figure exposed. For an older generation of fighter, Widow was in fantastic shape, a real marvel to behold and bearing a form many younger wrestlers would sell their soul for.
"Heh, if not giving up is all it takes to impress you... consider yourself already impressed! " Kay replied. The bell had barely rang when Cyber Widow sprang into action. She stepped forwards before going for a massive round house kick that no doubt would have impressed Sophia Wolfe had she been present. Fortunately, thanks to some training from Tia Breaker, Kay was mindful of Cyber's movements, keeping an eye upon her hips to judge her movements. As such she was able to arch back, narrowly avoiding the oncoming kick, but feeling the wind of the strike brush her face.
A close call to be certain, but Drifter was quick to step forwards, looking to try and ram a good hard fist towards Widow's bare stomach in response, hoping that her training sessions with Tia would pay off against such opposition!

Re: Never Give Up: Katherine Scarlett 'The Drifter' Vs CyberWidow
Widow is shocked but not as much as she was expecting. She seen Kay earlier matches and seeing how the woman was able to beat some heavyweight's with her strikes and at first untrained style of fighting. But seeing her opponent able to dodge her kick with by the skin of teeth and she knows that someone has been training her opponent on reading and watching her opponent body. "Not bad on the dodge.. seems that someone been teaching you cause the old you would have taken that kick to the head before."
Missing the kick left her wide open, and she pays for it as a solid punch slams into her stomach but she was prepared for it. Tightening her core muscles to take the punch, but the impact and force forces her to back up a bit but she smirk's even going so far as to patting her stomach with her hand for good measure. Giving the woman a smirk on her lips seeing as it going to be one of those matches.
'Not bad." Thereisa say's lunging forward taking a step forward and spins going for a spinning side kick to her opponent mid section, planning on using her reach advantage to control the flow of the match before landing a brutal strike to win the match.

Re: Never Give Up: Katherine Scarlett 'The Drifter' Vs CyberWidow
"Heh.. I'm starting to think you've been watching me here in the LAW. Do I have a fan already?" Kay responded with a jesting tone when Widow complimented her movement in avoiding the roundhouse kick. She was not wrong however... Kay might have tried to guard it at best and she would have struggled to keep such a heavy kick at bay. That would have left her wide open for further attack. She was learning well from Tia who was helping her to refine her ground game. Though her strikes were already powerful, thanks to Tia, she was developing technique...
Her own fist buried into Cyber's bare abs, and it was clear the strike was good as even Widow had to take a step back. Kay knew how hard she could strike, and she knew Widow must have been feeling the sting of it, yet her expression remained stoic. She merely tightened her core a little more, patting her stomach as if Kay's strike had been nothing. The smirk on her lips however betrayed the reality... perhaps Kay was wrong... but it looked like she was impressed, until her words all but confirmed it.
Widow naturally looked to reply in kind, spinning and throwing out a massive kick with her impressively long leg! Her aim was to send a solid strike into Kay's core, and given its low and sweeping nature, Kay knew she could not easily evade this time. Throwing her arms up and tensing her own impressive stomach, Kay bit down on her lower lip and grunted as the strike hit her hard across her abs. Fortunately her arms were forwards enough to take the worse of the impact, but naturally the smaller lightweight was sent staggering back.
Kay winced, but began to pat her stomach as well, causing the crowd to cheer loudly and laugh. It was obvious Kay got the worse of the exchange, but they enjoyed her playful nature as she made light on the situation.
"Ugh... Not... too shabby yourself." Kay added, before picking her guard back up. This time she began to move in, knowing she had to close some distance. It was dangerous, but Widow had the reach. Kay just hoped she could keep a step ahead of her with her lighter weight and speed, before she moved in and look to strike at Widow again, this time with a series of body blows if she could manage it. Tia's initial training was beginning to show, as Kay's guard looked much tighter, and no longer where her strikes like wild haymakers, but more controlled and harder to predict!

Re: Never Give Up: Katherine Scarlett 'The Drifter' Vs CyberWidow
Seeing her kick land into Kay stomach Thereisa knows that it hurt more then she is letting on. That smirk is back on her face seeing that the younger woman is not going to back down from this fight.
Her fist's still raised as she spots her opponent rushing forward trying to counter her reach advantage by getting closer to her, which takes her off guard allowing Kay's punches to land against her sides. "Ooommppp" as one land's flush against her core that makes her stagger backwards again.
"Not bad but compared to me and you... It going to take a lot more then that to defeat me.." that smug tone is back in her voice, as she lunges right back in decided to fight up close and personal. Keeping her guard up Thereisa leans in throwing a knee strike right at Kay stomach, planning on fighting like this before switching her style later on in the match.
'Beside if I wanted to I can already defeat you... But I want to see what you learned so do not disappoint me." she yells out if her knee strike landed she would keep up the offense by trying to grapple and grab Kay arms trying to hook them in her arms, before going for a double under hook suplex.

Re: Never Give Up: Katherine Scarlett 'The Drifter' Vs CyberWidow
Kay's eyes went wide as Widow moved in, using her long and powerful dangerous legs to once more strike towards Drifter's core. Throwing both arms in front of her stomach, Kay managed to defend the hard kick, deflecting the worse of the impact with a firm grunt. The strike however still sent her backwards, given the power and weight of the strike, leaving her open for Widow to move in and grapple with her. Kay gasped out as Widow was able to catch her arms, hooking them up and pulling her close to her own powerful form.
Kay looked to try and strike her, looking to put a kick against her, but it was too late. Widow was able to hoist Drifter upwards and over her head in an impressive Underhook suplex. Kay gasped out loud as her back landed against the canvas hard, shaking her to her core. She winced out, before trying to flick with her legs to get away and attempt to put some distance between herself and the Heavyweight Cyber Widow. Kay knew she was in for a fight tonight... Though she had come a long way, she knew it was far too earlier for her to be facing such competition...
Management however had other ideas it seemed.

Re: Never Give Up: Katherine Scarlett 'The Drifter' Vs CyberWidow
Since her loss to the Champion Widow has been adding more technical moves into her move-set. Preferably different suplex's and more holds that wear down the opponent before putting them away with her finisher. But she over did it by flinging her opponent across the ring allowing her to get to her feet and create more distance between them.
"Seem were stuck at a impasse" She says out loud for her opponent to hear her. 'You can't get close to me due to my kicks. And I can't corner you due to your strikes... Which one is going to break first." Showing off her experience by already breaking the fight down and debating on if she want's to take the risk or not.
Starting to circle her opponent now. Doing the dance of death with her younger opponent waiting to see who would flinch first. Her hips ready to twist to fire off another round house kick if needed be.

Re: Never Give Up: Katherine Scarlett 'The Drifter' Vs CyberWidow
The fans were chanting for Drifter as she stumbled up to her feet, clearly still hurt after the heavy and technical suplex. Her fortitude was showing however when she was able to hit her own shoulder a few times with a closed fist, looking to shake off the pain and the cobwebs before she retook her fighting stance, turning to face Cyber Widow who too had a stance of her own. The crowd no doubt loved an underdog story, and there was no doubt Kay was the long shot in this match. Kay was aware this match was not impossible for her.. but she was also all too aware that victory was still a foolish notion against someone two weight divisions above her and a legend.
That said, it did not mean Kay would not give it everything she had. If she was going to lose this match, she wanted to at least come out of it with her head held high. Bouncing on her bare feet a little, she watched with careful and focused eyes as Widow began to move in. Everything Tia had taught her in her early sessions with her came into play. Watching the hips was the most important lesson she took from it, as the hips always betrayed what movement was coming next. She watched as Widow took a familiar position... and knew a roundhouse was coming!
Having already seen her do it once, Drifter's eyes went wide, before she moved in! The moment Widow span and let her foot lift from the ground, the Drifter swept herself low, looking to move in and tackle into Cyber's standing leg in an attempt to take her down and off her feet towards the Mat, looking to take control and attempt to mount over Cyber if her take down was successful!
