L.A.W. - League of Anime Wrestling

Yuna was on the up and up, and it seemed with each passing day she was enjoying more success and more success than she ever could have hoped for. She knew she was taking a big step forward in her life when she made the decision to go pro and sign with LAW, but she couldn't anticipate just how well that would work out for her! She'd already gotten a few victories under her belt, and her popularity had soared through the roof, bringing her more money and attention than she ever expected to achieve. While she had gone in as a 40-year-old single mother, uncertain if she had the same look, appeal, or athletic ability as her colleagues or if she'd be able to sustain herself for long, she was now one of the hottest rising stars of LAW. It was hard to keep that fame from going to her head, but Yuna didn't want to compromise her principles.

But one way or another, the time came for her to be featured in another match! She couldn't say she minded it, and she was curious to see what sort of opponent she'd be facing this time, as the ring announcer proclaimed her entrance to the ring.

"Coming first to the ring, from Tokyo, Japan! At 6'1, weighing 232 lbs., YUNAAAA MATOU!"

Yuna took her step out onto the entrance ramp, greeted by cheers and applause - in no small part owing to the fact she had elected to come to the ring in a rather small bikini. It wasn't quite a typical choice for ring gear, but Yuna was perfectly comfortable with it after she'd spent much of her career attired similarly. After her last match on the beach, she felt it would catch a few eyes - and she was right. Yuna waved to the stands, blowing a few kisses in the direction of the crowds as well as she made her way toward the ring with a sway in her hips. That always seemed to get their attention, and she wasn't afraid to play to that.

At last, coming to the ring, Yuna slipped inside, taking her place in the corner and brushing back her hair before she placed her hands on her hips and watched for when her opponent would arrive on the scene.

Amber's alternate wrestling attire

Amber seemed to have finally come to terms with her attire as she bounced about the locker room. She was a little concerned about the woman she would be wrestling today. She had heard a few things about this woman. The fact that she was much larger than her and older than her really worried her, but she was also concerned about the fact that the woman didn't seem to have a whole lot of in ring experience, but Amber was determined to have a wonderful match with her and help her gain the experience she needs to continue her success as well as Amber's own. She heard the music playing for her opponent and she couldn't help but smile a little at the music. She stretched slightly before she finally heard that familiar knock on her door, letting her know that it was time to make her own entrance. She rolled her neck slightly and tied up her boots before she opened her door and headed out.

Her music began to play and the smoke rose once more, Amber suddenly appearing through the orange, white and green smoke before she skipped down to the ring, waving to the fans before she jumped up on the side of the ring and threw her leg over the middle rope before she followed through and looked over to her opponent. What she saw caused a very deep blush to spread across her cheeks when she saw the woman and her scantly clad frame. Her eyes looked her over as she made her way to her corner. Her eyes quickly moved down to her feet and away from Yuna as the ref came over to check her for weapons. The little ref girl was about to check Yuna for weapons, but thought about it for a second when she saw the woman's scantly clad body and decided against it.

As the smoke went up around the entrance ramp, Yuna got a good look at the opponent she was set to face for tonight, and it made her raise an eyebrow with a smile. She hadn't crossed paths with Amber before, but she could recognize something in the girl. She was much younger and smaller, and when she reached the ring, the blush on her face as she looked over Yuna made the heavyweight chuckle. It seemed like between the two of them, Yuna was more prepared for what she was getting into. Part of her took pity on Amber for having to face off against an opponent of such intimidating size and stature, but she felt a protective impulse kick in, knowing that Amber seemed so out of her element. All the same, Yuna wasn't going to underestimate her opponent, and she was curious to see what the green-haired girl could do.

After the referee had stepped aside, Yuna looked over at Amber with a smirk, meeting her eyes. "It's nice to meet you. I hope you're prepared for our match together!"

Amber was in total shock at the sight of the woman that stood before her, "I...uh...y-yeah, let's have a great match..." She blushed a little as she looked over the woman's nearly nude body. The ref quickly checked Amber for any weapons before she asked the two wrestlers if they were ready. Once they let her know they were ready, the ref signaled for the bell and the match began. Amber moved forward and offered to lock up with Yuna. Should the woman accept, Amber would quickly dodge behind the woman and wrap her arms around the woman's waist and try to lift Yuna up, though she didn't have enough strength to lift her if she had succeeded. She would huff and wait for Yuna to turn and move to lift her with a scoop slam, not learning from her mistakes. Should Yuna allow Amber to continue to try lifting her, Amber would manage to get her off her feet slightly, but would end up falling back with Yuna coming down on top of the Irish girl, knocking the wind out of her and causing her to go limp underneath the larger woman. Her body bending in half when Yuna came down on her and forced the wind out of her lungs before she fell back down against the mat and groaned softly.

From the look on Amber's face, Yuna could tell that the smaller woman was flustered. It was always a joy to her to know that even at her age she could catch the eye of those younger than her, and the grin that lit up across her face then showed as much. She winked to Amber teasingly, starting to get into a stance as she readied herself for the match to begin. But for all her teasing, Yuna didn't come from a place of malice. She was truly curious to see what Amber was going to bring to the table - and, as the bell rang out, the time to prove that was now!

Seeing Amber go for the lockup, Yuna raised an eyebrow. Surely, she thought, anyone would see the size difference between the two wrestlers, and Amber would have to think twice before engaging in a struggle she clearly couldn't win. But she still took her hands, only for Amber to dart around behind her. Yuna's reaction to this was much of the same, as she looked back over her shoulder to gauge the green-haired girl's position and saw she was again trying to lift her - once again, to little avail.

"Ah, dear...you're trying your best, aren't you? But I'm afraid that you'll have to learn to pick the right battles..." Yuna almost took pity on her opponent at seeing how outmatched she was. She wished she didn't have to go as hard on her as she did - but she was still here to win, and she wasn't going to compromise that. So too, Amber was going to have to learn at some point or another. And when all else failed, no one taught better than the school of hard knocks. No matter how much Amber tried to brace herself, she was ultimately powerless as Yuna threw her down against the surface of the canvas with a ring, shaking thud, and soon after, when she fell on top of her, squashing her against the mat!

For a moment, Yuna lay there, on top of Amber, before she rolled herself off to the side to leave her flattened foe where she lay. Yuna could easily have won the match there, if she kept things up. But it seemed much too early, at this stage of the bout. For now, she was going to watch and see what else Amber was capable of. "If you aren't careful, well...THAT will happen." Slowly, she came to her knees, picking herself up and dusting off.

Amber lay spread eagle in the middle of the ring and stared up at the lights wide eyed. True, Yuna could have pinned the little Irish girl right then and there and Amber would have been to dazed to even consider kicking out, but the ref had only issued a one count when Yuna had gotten off of her, ”I...know I can do it...” she said softly before she finally regained her senses and slowly got to a sitting position, ”I know I can defeat you...I just have to try harder...” she said, a look of both stubbornness and determination set as she got to her feet and approached Yuna again, if the woman would let her, Amber would grab her by her shoulder and between her legs again to try and bodyslam the much larger wrestler. The moment she started trying to lift, her face would begin to turn red and her veins would start to bulge a little as she would do her damndest to try and lift the woman up once more.

With the size difference between the two competitors, Yuna knew that she had the chance to end the match right there if she wanted to. All she would need to do was hold the position for a little while longer, and Amber would be unable to budge. But where was the fun in that? From the moment Amber had arrived, Yuna was taken by the Irish girl's shy, naive charm. She could tell Amber was in over her head, but she felt the potential in her, and she wanted to help bring that out. To pin Amber right away would crush her dreams, but if she gave her a fighting chance, she might see something out of the girl yet!

Getting off of Amber so that she could rise to her feet, Yuna met her challenge with a nod and a knowing smile. "Give it your best shot!" she said, encouraging her on. Yuna remained in place, watching Amber as she advanced. She didn't want to roll over and throw the match, but she was curious to see what Amber could do!

Unfortunately, she would immediately try to hoist Yuna up for a bodyslam, and given the woman's size, this was no easy task. Yuna simply stood there, watching her foe struggle beneath her weight. She barely budged. Though Amber strained and pushed, ultimately she didn't make any progress in lifting the heavyweight, who tossed her head from side to side.

"Ah, I see..I'm afraid to tell you this, but I don't think you'll make much progress there. You need to find your own strengths, and play to those...a larger opponent is far more apt to, well, do this!"

To illustrate her point, Yuna ducked lower, scooping Amber up in her own arms. With comparative ease, in one fluid motion she slung Amber over her shoulder, throwing her to the mat with a bodyslam of her own! "You see, it's easer to do that to a smaller opponent!"

The little Irish girl tried her best to lift the woman up, but try as she might she just couldn't do it. Even though she couldn't do it, she wouldn't give up and continued to strain against her before she was suddenly lifted off her feet and slammed down onto the mat and she gave a scream of pain as her back arched. Though her back had exploded in pain, she wouldn't be held down and slowly she began to rise to her feet, giving a soft pant as she started breathing a little heavily, "This may be true...but I won't be deterred...it'll take every ounce of strength, but I won't let you squash me so come on, let's have a good match." She smiled weakly and held her hands up, moving in to lock up with Yuna once more, though it was clear that her body slam might have done more damage than she may have intended as the small irish girl moved in on her. Her arms reaching up to Yuna to lock up with her. Should the woman accept, she would push against her with all her strength, though she wouldn't hold this for long. She would then move to her leg and try to trip her up before grabbing hold of the same leg, wrapping her own legs around it and beginning to pull, trying to weaken her legs a bit as she would begin to stretch her out.

While Amber had struggled to so much as get Yuna an inch off the ground, the heavyweight faced no such issues. Things came to her practically effortlessly as she hoisted Amber off the mat before hurling her down onto her back with a thud going through the ring, accompanied by the Irishwoman's cry of pain. Yuna almost felt a tinge of pity at seeing how her smaller opponent reacted. The thought that she might be going too hard on her came to her, though it only stuck in her mind for a moment before she shrugged it off. Amber was going to have to learn the ropes one way or another, and if Yuna had to break her in, so be it.

In fact, as Amber proceeded to rise up, shouting back words of proud defiance, Yuna's smile grew wider across her face. "You've got a lot of spirit in you, hmm? I will say, you've got guts. That's something to be proud of, being so confident against someone so much bigger."

Accepting Amber's challenge, Yuna came forward to take her hands, meeting the lockup. At first, feeling the force Amber managed to summon, Yuna didn't move much. She stood firm, planting her feet flat on the ground and making herself an immobile wall, and no matter how hard Amber fell against her she didn't skid back even an inch. Yuna wasn't surprised to see this, given the discrepancy in size between the two of them. However, what did surprise her was that this wasn't where Amber's strategies stopped! Suddenly, her foot was swept away from under her, and with a gasp, Yuna plummeted back through the air, her heavy body landing with a ring-shaking thud. And with her leg already caught up in Amber's clutches, she was able to transition quickly into a leglock, pulling back harder on the former apartment wrestler's leg. As Yuna groaned in pain, it seemed Amber had found her own way to gain an edge in this apparent mismatch!

Amber was a bit surprised that she was able to bring the much larger wrestler down, but she wasn't going to be wasting any time on admiring her handy work. Instead, she began wrenching her leg back as her own legs wrapped around her thigh tightly. She really didn't want to let go and she knew she had to do as much damage to her legs as possible if she wanted to win. So began her efforts of attempting to cut off the blood circulation to her opponent's leg in order to cause the limb to fall asleep. Amber knew she wouldn't be able to gain a submission out of her this way, but at least it would be a little while before she could stand and the little Irish girl would use every second she had before repeating the whole process over again. Once she was sure Yuna's leg had fully fallen asleep, she would let it go and allow the woman to get to a seated position. Once there, Amber would quickly rise to her feet and take off running, turn and bounce off the ropes and then came running right back at her. She would then jump up and bring her knees up, aiming to nail Yuna with a double knee take down before following her down. Should the move succeed, she would sit herself on Yuna's ample chest and reach behind herself, looking to bring up both of her opponent's legs for a pinfall attempt as the ref checked the woman's shoulders before administering the count.
