The agile pretty boy vs the queen of spears (Torra shinjiro vs jade urushi)

Torra shinjiro was doing some last minute stretching in the locker room before he was called down to the ring, he noded and walked to the ring.
As he walked to the ring he waved to the crowds as his long red hair was blowing from the wind of the A.C in the ring, he looked majestic. He flipped into the ring and gave the audience one last bow.

While he waited this gave him time to think about who's he's up against, it was a woman named jade urushi, also known as the queen of spears in the ring, and this was a 2/3 match. He was gonna give it all he's got, and he was wearing his standard match outfit, (which is the outfit in the pic but without the shirt and trench coat, so he's shirtless but still got his pants) "hmm I wonder where she is" he said to himself.

Jade fastened her gloves tightly. She could hear the crowd roar from behind the curtain. She needed a moment to gather her thoughts. Peace, quiet, relaxation: things this place had little of. She did not hate the loudness and the craziness of this place, but it was just very different than what she was used to. She needed to be with the familiar, in order to combat the surprises of the unfamiliar.

Speaking of unfamiliar, she was mere moments away from her first match here at LAW. She had the knowledge that her family had taught her, and the things that she had seen, but not much else. But that did not waver her determination. She knew what she had to do tonight. She had to win. This was the gateway to her future. She had every intention of grabbing it.

Jade Urushi

Dressed in green and black garb that leaves her arms, legs, and part of her midriff exposed, she grabs her spear that she has leaned against the wall and prepares to make her entrance. The spear itself is merely a prop- a replica of the one she held in her village. But its meaning was enough for her to hold it with pride.

She comes out from behind the curtain, to fans that know nothing about her. There are neither cheers, nor boos. They don't know her, but they will. She makes her way to the ring, passing the crowd by as she goes. She steps through the ropes to face her opponent, handing her spear to the ref for him to put away.

She makes a polite bow to the man in front of her, her opponent for the night. She doesn't know him, but she must fight him anyway. She gets into a ready position, and waits for the bell to ring.

Torra looked and saw her and was amazed by her beauty a bit, her face was pretty, her body was well toned and her legs were pretty good too, and she was almost as tall as him! He blushed a little when she grave him a polite bow.

He snapped out of it and decided to talk to her before the bell rings. He walked up to her. "Hello there, you must be jade urushi, I'm torra shinjiro and I hope we have a good match, may the best fighter win." He holds out his hand out for a friendly handshake, if she accepted it or not he would smile and go back to his corner.

A few more minutes passed and the bell rings begining the match!
Torra walked slowly towards her, thinking of a plan or waiting to counter.

Jade's face remained stoic as she took is hand. The notion of handshaking was still foreign to her, but she knew that people in this society did so as a form of greeting. She held no hatred for this man, and therefore no reason to deny him.

"Yes. May the best warrior win the day."

Quick and to the point. She was not one for idle chatter. At the very least, she had a grasp on the language. If not for that, many bad things would happen.

As Torra goes back to his corner, Jade returns to her ready position. The bell rings, and the match begins.

DING! DING! DING!

Jade knows very little about this man. She does not know what he will do, or how he will react. She needs to feel him out. Charging headlong right now will only cause her to lose quicker. She remains poised, her eyes locked on him. She readies herself to counter whatever he throws at her, to the best of her ability.

Torra kept walking towards her and realises that she won't move at all. *Looks like I gotta show her I mean business* He thought to himself and went in for a fast punch, if it hits or she guards he would quickly grab her arm and judo flip her on the ring floor.

Jade caught the punch that was meant for her, only be judo flipped as a result. She quickly rolled away and made it to a vertical base, returning to the fighting stance she previously had. She was a little caught off guard by that one. But every mistake was a learning experience, and she was determined to learn from every one.

Eyeing him again, she went back into waiting mode. I cannot show him my full hand just yet. He needs to get comfortable first.

She waited for him to attack once again. This time, however, she would look to go for a leg sweep should he make it into her range. Should that succeed, she would immediately pounce on him and begin to rain fists down on his face and body.

Torra was a bit happy that his attack plan worked out pretty well, but she quickly rolled, and got up faster than he expected.
But he won't let that distract him, he just needs to attack some more.

He saw her try and sweep leg him, luckily for his fast reflexes he manages to jump and dodges her sweep leg, then he counters attack by giving her head a axe kick, if it hit.

Torra dodged the leg sweep that Jade tried to get him with. He's fast. This much his easy to see. I'm going to need to catch him off guard.

Just as she thought that, Torra came down at her with an axe kick, aimed at her head. She had to react fast, as she was barely able to sidestep his foot as it whizzed past her ear.

So far, neither opponent had been able to land a solid hit on the other. A judo throw was the only successful move, and that was hardly a determining factor in this battle. Jade needed to pick up the pace, or eventually she would be struck.

As Torra's leg was going past her ear, Jade attempted to grab onto it, hoping to force him to balance on one leg. If this was successful, her next course of action would be to take him down with a dragon corkscrew.

Torra thought his kick got her but no.... it didn't. *Hmmm she's fast, like me, I better rethink my attack pl-* but before he could finish this she suddenly grabbed his leg and a dragon corkscrew on him, making him fall down.

But he catches himself on the floor and launches himself back up. "Whew, this is much more entertaining than I thought, we both are quite skilled at CQC eh?" He said playfully

Jade was able to pull off a dragon corkscrew out of that situation, but couldn't complete it due to Torra catching his fall mid-way through. He slipped his foot out of her grasp and launched himself back to a vertical base. The Spear Queen felt a pang of frustration at the lack of success in her moves, but she quickly pushed it aside. She couldn't afford to dwell on that stuff.

"Perhaps..." was the only response she would give him as she lunged forward to try and get a waist lock going. At this rate, they were just going to be playing an eternal game of cat and mouse. Frankly, that wasn't something Jade wanted to be a part of. There were other ways for her to be cautious without giving up offensive pressure.
