Personality: A natural showman, Mirabelle always acts with a flair for the dramatic, believing nothing is worth doing if it's not done in a fun way. She maintains a bubbly, cheery demeanor both in and out of the ring, her real grin often just as big as the one on her mask even while she's wringing screams out of her opponent. As one could likely gather from her costume, she isn't a serious fighter, caring little for the competitive aspect of the sport and treating every match as a piece of performance art in which her goal is to enrapture the crowd. She'll often drag fights out if she's winning too handily, wanting her costar to have a chance of showing off, but she also has an image as a villain to protect, so the chances she hands out for one to make a comeback tend to come with heavy consequences for not taking them. It's best not to mistake her artistic integrity for softness, as she has no qualms with putting her opponent through every agonizing and humiliating move she knows.
Outside of the ring, her time as a teacher shines through. She often volunteers to train with less-experienced fighters, and she frequently holds movie nights for those she's taken under her wing.
History: Mira's path to pro wrestling was short and abrupt, but the interests she held before embarking made the sport a surprisingly natural fit. She held an eclectic mix of hobbies in her younger years, placing in track and field events as well as gymnastics while maintaining a prominent role in her school's theater club. Moving on to higher education, she kept her focus on drama, starring in several plays and eventually moving on to help organize and produce shows of her own. By the time she had become a grad student, she was already an important and trusted fixture in the university's drama department. Perhaps that was why, when the school moved to sponsor a student-run pro wrestling club, she was the one chosen to manage it.
While she was apprehensive about the assignment at first, Mira turned around on it fairly quickly once she realized just how well a good match could get a crowd going. She soon took to the ring herself, repurposing an old renaissance festival costume and taking on the role of a heel with absolute glee. The mix of outrage and sadistic joy pulsing from the crowd as she took apart a beloved babyface was one of the most entoxicating sensations she'd ever experienced, and she started putting more and more of herself into the wrestling club project than she had ever expected to. Eventually, her efforts bore fruit, and both she and many of her understudies were offered roster spots with LAW. She continues to keep tabs on her old costars, hoping to see them all become great performers. If they can manage to not get overshadowed by a silly fighting jester, of course.
Signatures
Slapstick - Mirabelle overly choreographs a dramatic slap, only to feint a heavy boot to the opponent's stomach. This, too, is usually just setup, as she intends for the kick to be caught so she can transition into an enzuigiri. Any one of the blows can turn out to be the real deal, however.
Pratfall - Mirabelle wildly oversells a hit before she actually takes it, throwing herself to the ground at the slightest touch. From there, she either lunges for the opponent's legs or kicks them out from under them. Her favorite method for downing a target.
Slapdash - After stunning a foe with a sharp slap to the chest, Mirabelle whips them towards the ropes and meets them with a twirling kick to the face.
Finisher
Showstopper - With her foe splayed on the mat, Mirabelle leaps from the top rope, pulling off a spinning somersault before stomping down onto the target's stomach with both of her jingly boots. If she feels like she hasn't dealt enough damage, she'll bounce with the impact, transitioning to slam her butt down onto the target's face or to a second stomp to their crotch.
