The Cupcake Connection vs The Divine Stars - Having your cake and eating it
For Louise and Polly, the day of their debut in the world of LAW professional wrestling was a whirlwind of emotions. The excitement and anxiety coursed through their veins, magnified by the knowledge that they would soon step into the spotlight as "The Cupcake Connection." Having already enjoyed a growing fan base as a tag team, this moment was the culmination of their hard work and dedication—but it was also a leap into unknown territory. The reality of facing a potentially stronger and more skilled rival loomed large over them, casting a shadow of doubt in their minds.
In the locker room, Louise paced nervously, her fingers tugging at the edges of her vibrant bikini ensemble, rehearsing every possible scenario in which she might prevent a wardrobe malfunction. Meanwhile, Polly, in her usual upbeat fashion, rummaged through a small wicker basket filled with an array of cupcakes. “Hmm, strawberry, vanilla, and…” she mused, contemplating which sweet treat selection to bring along.
Louise turned sharply, her expression a mix of frustration and urgency. “Polly, can we please forget the cakes for just a second?”
Polly glanced up, her face a mix of surprise and amusement. “Forget the cakes? Someone is definitely grumpy!”
Louise paused, her tension softening as she felt the weight of the moment pressing down on her. “I’m sorry. I just can’t help but feel nerves creeping in. This is our debut, and I really don’t want to find myself flat on my back, staring at the lights while some team crushes me.”
Sensing her partner’s anxiety, Polly stood and moved closer, ready to offer comfort. “Lou, we are amazing together! Win or lose, the fans adore us. Remember, it’s all about having fun!”
Taking a deep breath, Louise nodded slowly as the stage hand’s voice boomed from outside the locker room. “Cupcake Connction, you’re up!”
The two exchanged a glance, a shared moment of unspoken determination as they took stock of their flamboyant outfits, radiant with splashes of yellow, green, and blue. With a burst of excitement, they yelled, “Cupcakes Forever!” and sealed the sentiment with a high-five that echoed joyfully in the space around them as they headed to the Gorilla position.
As they stepped out, the upbeat Euro Pop sounds of the Vengaboys exploded through the arena’s sound system, electrifying the atmosphere. With cupcakes in hand, they made their way toward the ring, delighting young fans by tossing their sweet confections into the crowd. It was a heartwarming scene that made Louise’s heart swell with pride. She caught sight of a handmade sign that read, “The Cupcakes Brighten My Day!”—a reminder of why they were there.
The announcer’s voice cut through the excitement. “FIRST TO THE RING, WEIGHING IN AT A COMBINED 205 POUNDS, THE TAG TEAM OF LOUISE AND POLLY, THE CUPCAKE CONNECTION!”
The girls slid under the ropes and leapt onto the turnbuckles, waving and blowing kisses to their supporters, basking in the attention.
As the cheers washed over them, a subtle shift occurred; it was Polly who began to feel the familiar pang of nerves. “Okay, let’s run through the moves... headlock into takedown... into scissor...” she muttered under her breath, trying to steady her racing heart.
Louise, catching the comments from her partner, placed a reassuring hand on Polly’s shoulder. “Think of it this way—this is just like baking. We’ve got all the right ingredients, and we’ll cook it at the right time and temperature.”
Polly grinned at the analogy but added with a smirk, “Let’s just hope the temperature doesn’t get too hot!”
Louise waved off the concern, "This is wrestling, anything can happen. Including us winning!"
Together, they shared a laugh, the tension dwindling as they focused on the electrifying moments to come. As they prepared to step into the world of wrestling, where their skills would be tested and their friendship would shine, they knew one thing for certain: they were ready to take the plunge, sweet treats and all.

Re: The Cupcake Connection vs The Divine Stars - Having your cake and eating it
Nate and Kate were once again in the locker room, it was time for their second match on LAW. After putting up a strong showing in their first match, they needed to keep building up momentum. That being said, this match would be different from the previous one, they were no longer the rookies but the veterans, even though this was only their second match. Hopefully, they could use this to their advantage but they needed to stay focused and get overconfident. Their opponents were known as the Cupcake Connection but otherwise, Nate and Kate knew almost next to nothing about them.
The two would remain silent for a moment longer, checking each other uniforms and making sure everything was ready to go. "You ready?" asked Kate in a bit of a confident tone. "Born ready." said Nate in response as he flexed his right arm. "Of course, you would say that." said Kate as she gave a small giggle before doing one last stretch. "Come on, we should stop wasting time." said Kate as she motioned for them to leave. Nate would nod his head and the duo would leave the locker room.
The duo would make their way down the hallway and towards the entrance. They would give some nods towards the staff but mostly keep to themselves. Eventually, they would arrive just outside the entrance. Here there were a few staff members, the ones who would play their music, announce them and so forth. The duo would wait until given the signal. It would only be a moment or two before one of the staff members informed them and with that, they would both nod in unison and make their entrance as their as their theme song played.
The duo would make their way out as they were announced. "AND NOW MAKING THEIR WAY OUT FOR THEIR SECOND MATCH. WEIGHING IN FOR A TOTAL OF TWO HUNDRED AND NINETY-SIX POUNDS, COMPOSED OF NATE AND KATE, THE DIVINE STARS!" said the announcer as the crowd roared. Like last time, the two of them felt an overwhelming pressure hit them. But this time it was a bit easier. The Divine Stars still had each other and would remain strong, giving a confident look into the crowd as they struck a pose.
Nate and Kate would then start to make their way down the ramp. As the mixed tag team did, they noticed several members of the crowd had some cupcakes. Was this the work of their opponents, using cupcakes to gain their favour? For now, the two of them would instead focus on the ring and their opponents. They continued down the ramp until they got to the edge of the ring where they would both slide in and quickly get back up. They would take a moment to look at their opponents, sizing them up before then making their way to the turnbuckles. Each of them would mount one and raise a fist in the air as they posed for the crowd before jumping off and then making their way to the center of the ring.
"So you're our opponents." said Nate as his arms were crossed while giving them a glare. "Let's give the crowd a good match." said Kate in a more friendly tone as she extended her hand for a shake in a show of good sportsmanship.

Re: The Cupcake Connection vs The Divine Stars - Having your cake and eating it
The Cupcakes stood in the ring, hearts racing and anticipation hanging thick in the air. They had been kept in the dark about who they would face in their debut match, adding an air of mystery to an already thrilling event. As they waited, the reverberating sound of their opponent's entrance theme blared through the speakers, drowning out the voices of the crowd and igniting the tension within the squared circle.
Polly turned to her partner, Louise, her eyes wide with shock. “Wow, this is…” she began, her excitement palpable. Louise immediately interjected, her voice cutting through the noise, “Loud!” Polly grinned, mischief dancing in her eyes as she corrected, “I was going to say epic.”
The sweet duo watched intently, their anticipation building as two figures emerged from the shadows. “Is that…” Polly started to question. Without missing a beat, Louise chimed in, eyes narrowing, “A guy?” Polly’s enthusiasm was uncontainable. “No, that’s a God! Look at that body!” she exclaimed, her gaze fixated on the impressive physique of their opponent.
In the midst of Polly's admiration, Louise quickly grabbed her partner by the shoulder, pulling her back to reality. “Polly, focus! I know we don’t normally wrestle guys, but this isn’t a date! You’re supposed to be pinning him, not partying with him!”
Polly rolled her eyes, a playful smile lingering on her lips. “Can’t a girl dream?” she shot back. The pair continued to observe as the Divine Stars, their formidable opponents, made their way down the ramp, the announcer's voice cutting through the atmosphere, reminding everyone in the arena that the combined weight of the Divine Stars outweighed the Cupcakes by a staggering one hundred pounds.
As the imposing figures drew closer, the Cupcakes found themselves divided in their approach. Louise, ever the strategist, settled into her corner with laser focus, determined to get off to a strong start. Meanwhile, Polly seemed captivated by the aura surrounding the newcomers. With a burst of courage fueled by her admiration, she approached Nate—the male member of the duo—her hand clutching a brightly decorated Cupcake in a gesture of goodwill.
“Hey there! So… it looks like we’re going to be wrestling you,” she stammered, her nerves bubbling to the surface. “Um, I made Cupcakes for everyone…” Polly awkwardly extended her arm, offering the treat as she fumbled over her words. “Would you like one? I’m sure I taste sweet… um, I mean these taste sweet…”
A deep crimson blush spread across her cheeks, illuminating her face as the audience collectively held its breath. The energy in the arena was palpable; the crowd was on the edge of their seats, eager to see what would unfold in this tense moment. Two possibilities loomed large: either the Adonis-like Nate would accept her offering, perhaps taking a bite of the sweet confection that might taste like forbidden fruit, or—more likely—the Cupcake would go sailing through the air, sending both Polly and her hopes crashing to the mat along with her treat.
As the standoff lingered in the spotlight, the fate of the Cupcakes hung delicately in the balance, everyone filled with expectation and the promise of the impending confrontation.

Re: The Cupcake Connection vs The Divine Stars - Having your cake and eating it
As Nate and Kate looked at their opponents they could see one of them was going a bit crazy for them. "I think she likes you." whispered Kate in a bit of a teasing manner. Nate would give his female counterpart an annoyed look but otherwise ignored the comment. "That being said, they don't look that bad." said the male wrestler giving the closest thing to a compliment that he would. "Defiantly not, I can see why the crowd loves them and not just because of the cupcakes." stated the blonde female wrestler.
Then the two of them saw one of their opponents making their way towards them with a cupcake in hand. The blonde male would raise his eyebrow as he saw her approach and offered the cupcake while the female counterpart would cross her arms. Both he and his tag partner would just stare at her for a few seconds, staying silent, letting the suspense build. The two announcers were debating if he would eat it or not. Some members of the crowd would be cheering on, telling him to eat it. The male Greek wrestler would look around, taking in the crowd for a second before looking back at Polly.
"We, the Divine Stars, accept this tribute." he stated as he grabbed the cupcake and cut it in half, giving the other half to Kate. "We divine, we are gods. So it's only natural for you to give us a tribute. We accept this token of submission." stated Nate as he began eating it. "Pretty good but this won't stop us from going all out." said Kate as she then took a second bite.
"Speaking of pretty good, I saw you checking out my tag partner." said Kate in a bit of a teasing manner. "It's only natural to stare at such a divine body." said Nate in a proud tone. "He is right, we cannot blame you." said Kate as she continued to tease Polly.
Though at this point, the referee would arrive and instruct one of them to go to the turnbuckle. "I will let you two love birds mingle." said Kate as she went to her corner.

Re: The Cupcake Connection vs The Divine Stars - Having your cake and eating it
Polly waited with bated breath, her eyes fixed on the imposing figure of her opponent's tag partner. It was like the worst date in the world, or a marriage proposal that could be declined, and the uncertainty was almost unbearable. But as luck would have it, the Adonis took the cupcake, the sweet treat that Polly had lovingly baked herself, and halved it with his partner. The sight of his smile and the way they shared the cupcake together sent a flutter through Polly's chest.
She gushed with excitement, her eyes shining with a bright light. "EEEEE!" she squealed in delight as she merrily skipped off to the corner of the ring, where her partner Louise waited with a mixture of amusement and annoyance etched on her face. "What? He liked it!" Polly exclaimed, still bubbling over with enthusiasm. Louise rolled her eyes, wagging her finger in a gesture of frustration. "He could have slammed you through the canvas at any moment, and he said submission! He already expects you to lose!"
Louise's words were laced with a hint of caution, a warning to Polly not to let her emotions get the better of her. But Polly was undeterred, a smile still plastered on her face. "Nah, he's a nice guy, and his partner is totally right. I love him." she said dismissively, her mind already elsewhere. Louise facepalmed, realizing that this was a battle she was unlikely to win.
With Polly now completely smitten, Louise tried to steer her back on track. "Okay, enough of that. How are you going to cut him down to size?" The question hung in the air as Polly's gaze drifted back to the Adonis, her eyes lingering on his chiseled physique and the light sheen of sweat on his skin. She was lost in thought, a vision of the match unfolding in her mind.
"POLLY!" Louise barked, her voice a sharp reminder that this was a fight they were about to embark on. But Polly was unfazed, a spark of determination igniting within her. "Alright, grumpy, I know what I'm going to do," she said with a confident tilt of her head.
DING DING DING.
With the bell ringing out across the arena, the match was underway. As Polly approached Nate, she offered a cheeky smile. "You're much bigger than me.." She looked down at his trunks "... in all areas! Please be gentle. Promise I'll make it up to you," she said with a wink, her words dripping with flirtation.
The crowd watched in awe as Polly did something no one expected, turning her back on her opponent and sprinting towards the ropes behind her. The plastic-coated cables snapped across her skin, sending a jolt of adrenaline coursing through her veins, and catapulting her back towards Nate. Her boots pounded against the mat as she descended, her body a blur of motion, and her small but lovely breasts jiggled with every movement.
The crowd held its collective breath as Polly launched herself into the air, a rope-assisted high crossbody aimed straight at her opponent. The odds were stacked against her - she weighed 100 pounds to his 160 pounds, and the impact of their collision was likely to be catastrophic.
But Polly was determined to defy the odds, to prove that even the smallest and lightest of opponents can pack a punch.
The crowd waited with bated breath as the impact was imminent, the blue haired cupcake flying across the ring in a flurry of movement, and some sections giving a roar of excitement as they witnessed what may be a suicide mission - a 100-pound underdog trying to take down a giant in a daring display of athleticism and determination.

Re: The Cupcake Connection vs The Divine Stars - Having your cake and eating it
Nate would watch as his opponent ran off back to her corner. Normally he would make a comment about how she was scared but she seemed utterly excited. Lord, Kate was right about her, she was in love with him. He would give a glance and see a smirking Kate. He would shake his head and focus back on his opponent. This was a match and he intended to win this but perhaps the Greek wrestler could use Polly's own infatuation against her.
Soon the bell would ring and the match would now be underway. Nate would enter a grappling position, as both his arms were raised and his feet spread out. Having the weight advantage would give him an edge. But if they thought he was nothing but muscles they would be wrong. He would now see her checking him out and commenting. "Still can't get enough of this body? I guess it's the first time you have seen such a figure, that which is divine. So I cannot blame you for being Star Struck. But don't worry, I will show you what I am capable of and you will get the best view." he said in a bit of a teasing manner though there was a bit of a subtle sadistic tone in it as well.
The blonde male then watched as his blue-haired opponent ran away from him. She wouldn't be retreating now, the match had just started so she must be planning something else. With that, he saw her bounce off the ropes and come back as she jumped high in the air for a crossbody. The Divine male wrestler's eyes would go wide at the sight as he was caught slightly off guard with such a maneuver. He would feel her impact hitting his body, causing him to take a step back as his arms would warp around her body, one in between the legs and the other around the shoulder. The audience would cheer at the sight as the move connected, putting all that weight on Nate as it looked like he was going to fall back. The blonde wrestler would then take another step back as he was having a hard time keeping his balance. He would then take a third and stop moving now, having fully stopped the attack and holding her up in the air.
The audience would now gasp at the sight, with Nate showing a display of strength as he held his female opponent in the air. He would rapidly inhale and exhale for a moment, as stopping the blue-haired wrestler's momentum wasn't an easy task. "You are going to need a lot more than that to bring down a divine wrestler such as myself. But now let me return the favour... WITH INTEREST!" said the Greek wrestler as he would then twist his body around and proceeded to try to hurl Polly into the canvas, attempting to brutally slam her while falling on top of her for a devastating power slam. If he successfully pulled this off, it would prove to be a very powerful start for the match, allowing them to take a dominant position.
While all this was going down, Kate would start to clap her hands in the air, trying to get a rhythm going and attempting to get the crowd to join their side. "DIVINE... STARS! DIVINE... STARS! DIVINE... STARS!" she stated over and over again, trying to get the chant to match the clapping she was doing.

Re: The Cupcake Connection vs The Divine Stars - Having your cake and eating it
Polly had committed to the act, a reckless leap born of inexperience and a desperate desire to prove herself. The stale, sweat-infused air of the arena rushed past her soft skin, sending a chill through her despite the heat. Her striking blue hair, usually a beacon of confidence, now whipped around her face like a frantic flag. Her thoughts, disjointed and panicked, seemed to be adrift, focusing with a morbid fascination on the looming body of Nate, a hulking figure of muscle, rather than the inevitable consequences of her rookie mistake.
She had charged in without a plan, a kamikaze attack destined to fail.
As their flesh clashed with a combined THUD and SLAP, a sound that echoed sickeningly in the vast space, all motion was momentarily arrested.
Dead.
The impact stole her breath and rattled her bones. "ACK!" Polly exclaimed loudly, a strangled cry that was quickly swallowed by the roaring silence of her own compromised lungs. This was a precarious position, indeed. Held across Nate's broad frame like an offering, a prize claimed too easily. This wasn't too far from the truth; all the confident pre-match talk her rival alluded to of submission would now be twisted into a humiliating sacrifice.
Polly squirmed and kicked, her small frame a futile resistance against Nate's superior strength, but she was held fast, pinned and helpless. "Um wait..." she exclaimed, her voice laced with a desperate plea, hoping for a flicker of mercy, a shred of sportsmanship. But in this arena, mercy was a luxury rarely afforded.
Louise watched on in horror from the corner, her face a mask of concern. Nate twisted and took her partner down to the canvas with brutal efficiency.
WHAM!
The sound reverberated through the arena, a visceral reminder of the unequal contest. The crowd gave an audible "OOHHHH!" A few even covered their eyes, unable to stomach the violent spectacle. Nate was 160 pounds; Polly was 100 soaking wet, a featherweight thrown into the path of a relative heavyweight train.
This was a squash in every sense of the word, a painful lesson delivered with bone-jarring force.
"Polly, come on!" Louise called out, her voice strained with worry. Her hands gripped the top rope tightly, as she silently prayed Polly was still breathing, let alone able to continue the match. This was going to be a white-knuckle ride all the way, a test of endurance and resilience she hadn't anticipated.
Thankfully, Nate, perhaps sensing the potential for a swift and anticlimactic victory, elected to get off Polly, foregoing the immediate pin count. Polly sucked in as much air as she could, each gasp a victory in itself, and rolled over to her side, hands clutching at her chest, trying to quell the burning pain. Her eyes made contact with Louise at the corner. It may as well have been a whole different country given the aching distance and the chasm of fear that separated them.
Instead of chastising her partner for her recklessness, Louise, understanding the need for support, began to clap her hands, a steady, rhythmic beat that cut through. It was partly to encourage Polly, to remind her that she wasn't alone, but also to match Kate, who was already working the crowd, getting them on the side of the Divine Stars, desperately trying to salvage some momentum.
If Nate didn't attack immediately, Polly knew she needed to move, to regroup. Summoning a reserve of strength she didn't know she possessed, she tried to at least tried to get to her knees, a shaky, precarious ascent towards a semblance of control. The arena spun around her, the lights blurring, but she focused on Louise's unwavering gaze, a lifeline in the chaos. Winded but not out of it, she clung to the hope that she could somehow recover, that this humiliation could be transformed into a lesson, a turning point.

Re: The Cupcake Connection vs The Divine Stars - Having your cake and eating it
Slamming his opponent into the canvas was exhilarating, hearing the impact and how the crowd reacted, was a huge rush to Nate. Not only that, but he had made sure to give himself a strong start. Who knows, maybe he would even get a poster of him performing this move. But right now he needed to focus back on the match. Nate could attempt to pin Polly but despite the size difference and the brutal attack, if she was a wrestler worth anything, she would probably kick out and it would give her more time to recover. Not to mention that her tag partner was fully fresh and could break up the pin. So instead the Greek wrestler would get back to his knees and take a second to look at his handiwork. He would let out a smirk as he saw the blue-haired wrestler withering in pain from the impact.
"We are only getting started." said Nathan as he got back onto his feet. He was already starting to come up with similar slams to perform, as well as which submission moves to do. Also, they couldn't forget about Kate, this would let them do special double-team attacks. But first, he needed to soften her up a bit more. As he saw her roll to her side he would take a step forward with one leg while bringing the other back and then launching it forward for a brutal kick aimed right at her back. Combined with the slam, this would probably keep her on the defensive a bit longer. It wasn't a brutal move or something to send her back into the ground but simply something to buy himself a few more seconds. "Come on, you got more than that in you." said the male wrestler in a slightly mocking tone.
"KEEP IT UP NATE!" shouted Kate as she continued to cheer on her tag mate while still clapping as she was getting the audience on her side. The announcers were also commenting about the slam, some wondering if Polly was already out of the fight. One even made a joke saying that Kate wouldn't even need to do anything in this match. However, one of them would then be shocked by what he saw next. "DON'T GIVE HER ANY ROOM, KEEP THE PRESSURE ON!" yelled Kate in a supportive tone in response to what she was seeing. Honestly, Kate was a bit impressed that Polly was still getting back up. Then again, when doing such risky moves, one needs a certain amount of endurance to handle it all. She would though be ready to make a move and tag in at a moment's notice.
Seeing his opponent now starting to get back onto her knees, the blonde wrestler would attempt to grab her wrist. "Let's get you back to your feet, I am not done with you yet. We still have more divine punishment for you. Besides, I think you haven't gotten enough of me yet, lover girl." said Nate trying to get Polly onto her feet so he could continue his work on her. If he managed to do so, he would then put both his hands on one of her arms and then attempt to pull her before pushing her back, trying to launch his female counterpart into one of the neutral turnbuckles with a brutal Irish Whip before following behind her. If this worked, not only would she hit the turnbuckle hard but he would come in and jump at the last second, attempting to slam his body into hers, trying to sandwich the much smaller wrestler.

Re: The Cupcake Connection vs The Divine Stars - Having your cake and eating it
The slam shook Polly like a physical manifestation of all her doubts, but then, the follow-up kick... it was a cruel, taunting insult, a brutal reminder of her helplessness. Nate, his face a mask of disdain, smirked with a primitive satisfaction, his words sharp barbs that sliced through her already frayed resolve. That said, her senses overwhelmed by cacophony of jeers and the thrumming pulse of the crowd pressing in on her, Polly clung to her conviction. Nate was a storm, a force of nature. He was strength personified, a protector, albeit a flawed one.
And she, with the unwavering power of her love, could tame the beast.
Lost in this fragile fantasy, she was oblivious to the danger, a moth drawn to a flickering flame. Her eyes were clouded, her judgment impaired. It was then that Louise, her partner, a beacon of reality in the vortex of chaos, saw the impending disaster. From the ring apron, she released her grip on the top rope, her hand outstretched like a lifeline. “Polly, tag me!”
Louise's desire to get in the ring stemmed from a mixture of frustration and righteous anger at both of the Divine Stars. She hadnt even seen Kate in action yet, but her cheerleading got under the skin, each word prickled. This match had become a travesty in a single, devastating move. But more than that, the sight of Nate’s smug, muscle-bound arrogance had ignited a fire within her. Louise wasn’t one to be swayed by brute force or a God like body. The sight of all that ego, that relentless power... it was grating.
Instead of the desperately needed tag, Polly was hurled towards the turnbuckle, unfortunately not where Louise was waiting.
*WHAM!*
With a sickening thud, Polly crashed into the corner post, the impact echoing through the arena. The air rushed from her lungs in a strangled gasp. Her boots skidded against the canvas, a desperate attempt to anchor herself, to find purchase in a world that had suddenly turned upside down.
*AGGHHHHHHH!*
The pain exploded in her back, a searing wave that stole her breath. Her legs buckled, mimicking a fighter crumpling after a knockout blow. The arena swam before her eyes, a distorted painting of flashing lights and blurred faces. The crowd's roar bayed for more, thirsting for Nate to crush Polly again and again, to watch her break. Nate, an apex predator sensing the blood in the water, seemed to relish the spectacle, a top class performer attuned to the audience’s savage desires.
Louise watched in horrified slow motion.
A cold dread gripped her. Nate's intent was clear, and the sandwich was NOT on Louise's menu.
Polly was vulnerable and hurtling toward a fate that was likely to end in her being unable to continue. Louise had to act, to somehow break through Polly's delusional fog and save her. But how? What could possibly reach her?
Then, a spark of inspiration, a lifeline. “POLLY! Spillage!” Louise’s voice, clear and sharp, cut through the din.
Like a marionette responding to a well-placed pull, Polly’s body reacted on pure instinct. Her hands found the canvas and she dropped to her knees, instinctively moving away from the turnbuckle area with a crawl. Louise had tapped into a shared reality, a moment of domestic comfort, a memory of their shared life outside the ring. The code word triggered, and the urgency of a kitchen mishap, some liquid or jam loose on the floor, had been deployed. This was a desperate play, a gamble, designed to buy Polly precious seconds to escape Nate’s relentless assault.
Louise's heart pounded in her chest, a frantic drum against her ribs...
If Nate was distracted, disorientated by Polly’s sudden movement and the impact from his own move, she could do something desperate, something she rarely would do.
Cheat.
If Nate stayed at the turnbuckle to steady himself, she would race across the apron with all the speed she could muster, a blur of motion, and unleash the sole of her boot to his cheek, a blatant display of defiance. The referee would inevitably admonish her, perhaps even issue a warning, but she needed to turn the tide. She craved the tag, craved the chance to fight back and show the Divine Stars, that the Cupcakes weren’t complete jobbers. At least Louise had some fire, some fight left in her.

Re: The Cupcake Connection vs The Divine Stars - Having your cake and eating it
Nate managed to get Polly back onto her feet, though he wouldn't be holding her for long. It was time to show her what a wrestling match was and how it was different from cooking. Or maybe it was like cooking? He would smirk as he threw his opponent towards the turnbuckle. He saw her crash right into it and smiled before charging forward. The crowd would gasp at the sight as they continued to see the beatdown. "Here I come. Let me give you a cooking lesson on some pancakes. It's a far better meal for breakfast." said the Greek wrestler in a mocking tone while closing the distance between the two. He intended to sandwich her and flatten her into a pancake. Kate was still cheering this on, trying to hype the crowd for it more.
Suddenly Nate would hear a scream and then saw Polly get to her knees causing his eyes to go wide. With his blue-haired opponent out of the way, he now had nothing to break his impact into the turnbuckle. A large impact noise could be heard as he crashed into the turnbuckle, the impact stunning him for a second. The crowd would let out a bit of a surprise gasp. Kate's eyes would go wide as well as she put her hands on her head as it seemed that this could be the start of a reversal. Nate would close his eyes as he held onto the ropes while shaking his head, trying to regain himself.
Though things would then go from bad to worse as Nate felt a sudden impact on the face. He had been suddenly kicked in the head, causing him to drop to his hands and knees. He could hear the referee saying something. Had he just been doubled-teamed? Well at the moment he would grab onto the bottom ropes, using it for support as he crawled a bit, it would take him a few seconds to recompose himself. The male wrestler would need to make sure to neutralize the other tag partner when he got the chance, otherwise, she might keep cheating and double-teaming him like this. If that happened they would lose the match for sure.
One announcer would praise Louise for the cheapshot, calling her brilliant while the other would complain about it. Kate on the other hand tried to get into the ring, wanting to even the odds. But as she started to go through the ropes the referee would start to yell at her and block her path. "THEY CHEATED FIRST. IT'S ONLY FAIR I SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET IN!" yelled Kate at the official but the referee girl wasn't having it. She threatened to disqualify them. Kate would glare at her but then back down, utterly annoyed at how the situation had turned out. She returned to her corner, ready to tag in if Nate needed her.
