Rin Taniguchi

Rin Taniguchi let out a long sigh while having a final look at the mirror against one of the locker room’s wall. The Showstopper was donning her regular attire consisting of fighting shorts and top and even if the blonde wasn’t a full-of-herself person she had to admit she looked great in that outfit. However, the Showstopper wasn’t really feeling it that night. Rin was experiencing some sorts of down time. After her last couple matches the woman was feeling like she really needed something to properly kickstart her career and start a good streak. Rin was hoping that the match for that night would be that stepping stone that would get her to a new stage in her wrestling career.

After getting the final details on her outfit, some knocking on the door gave Rin her cue to walk on stage. The music echoed and she started walking down the ramp but her usual energy was replaced with some hesitant look. Instead of going all hyper it looked like she was avoiding making any interaction with the fans, her eyes looking unfocused as she walked towards the ring in an urge to be done with it. Once she made it to the ring she was almost grateful for her entrance being over now that the focus of attention would be her rival for the night. Resting against her corner she thought about that woman named Gabriel Vinlee. She didn’t know much of her and she hadn’t made any research, so that upcoming rival would be a mystery. With those unsettling thoughts in mind, Rin waited until her rival made her appearance.

As the Showstopper settled into her corner, her lack lustre attitude rubbed off on her fans - maybe something was wrong with this bombshell and they didn't know about it, and worse! The rowdies near the barricade separating them from ringside might not be helping to make her feel more comfortable. But, even if they shouted their love to bring her their support to the Showtopper from so far away, they wouldn't stand much of a chance when the arena lights dimmed to evoke silence, a very pleasant and welcoming one. The ramp lights began to flash on and off like pulses to the song of the musical entrance of the next leading wrestler.
That call for attention ignited the cheers of this little piece of the world and the interest of those who wanted the attention that the Showtopper could not give them. The First Queen of the pub club walked through the curtains as if this was her catwalk, stopping in front to pose with one hand on her hips and raise her hand in a position as if she were carrying something invisible. Immediately her name was projected above her head on the titantron screen: Gabriel Vinlee - The Royal Viper and from the angle of the camera, it looked like her name was what she was proudly holding up.

Today the Brit seemed much more animated, sweeping the arena with her gaze from corner to corner of her eye, smiling in amusement. She then pranced up the top ramp, flapping her skirt at a childish pace and revealing her athletic shorts, an attitude typical of many confident wrestlers, but it was not so common for her to be so...free.

What was common was that she didn't stop to greet anyone, she only had eyes for the ring, her goal. Although everyone might be used to this by now, it was part of her essence, her regal, whimsical but righteous essence. She didn't want to send the wrong message: she only comes for her opponent, that's who she owes everything.

Gabriel stopped prancing just as she came to stand in front of the ring and entered it by sliding curvaceously under the bottom rope, bringing her body inside with a certain brazen, but very magnetic sensuality and the justly short skirt didn't help to calm the imagination (they'd already seen her shorts for her prancing, but now that they fancied seeing the shape of Britain's queenly rear, the skirt was doing its job well to leave them wanting and cover the queen's treasure).

She planted her knee on the canvas and stood up as if nothing had happened only to jump up and down as a sign that she was complete and then pivoted on her toes before turning very serious and going to her corner dramatically.

The queen would keep this up by not waving to the crowd until the end because she didn't go up to her corner to whip up support from those clamouring for her. She would just lean back in the corner and put her elbows on the ropes. She looked at Rin, the one to whom she must give attention and slowly scanned her from her boots up, stopping at her eyes, and gave her a flirtatious half smile and a wink to see if she could help her with her lack of mood, which she noticed from backstage.

Gabriel's attire

From her privileged spot on her corner Rin had a really good sight of her rival’s entrance. That woman, whose monicker was The Royal Viper, walked down the ramp and towards the ring with an attitude that didn’t match her wrestling name at all. She just walked prancing and flapping her skirt in an alluring but also somehow innocent way. That blonde was giving Rin mixed signals with an attitude that completely contrasted with her wrestling name. Which one would be the real Gabriel Vinlee? The Showstopper sighed and guessed she would know in just some minutes.

Reaching her final destination, Gabrial slipped inside the ring in a way that highlighter her body and curves, getting the crowd’s excitement skyrocketing while mixing all that with her playful attitude. When the entrance was over, the Royal Viper noticed how Rin was looking in awe and rewarded her with a half smile and a wink. A symbol of camaraderie, maybe, or a honeytrap? Rin decided to think nice of her rival and returned the smile, feeling a little bit better about herself despite her initial hesitance.

Walking towards the center of the ring, Rin wanted to give her rival a nice greeting and to wish her the best for the upcoming match seeing how Gabriel had taken some time to try and help the Showstopper out of her moody time. “Hey there Gabi. Nice to meet you, here’s to a good match.”, she said while offering her rival a friendly handshake.

Gabriel felt some vindication at getting a smile out of her rival girl, thanks to her games. She knew that igniting a good attitude from the start helped to make the outcome more delightful and Rin seemed to be the kind of girl who gave it her all from the start when she was in the mood for fun. With that clear, when Rin approached to wish a good game and offer a friendly shake, Gabriel responded by looking with some curiosity at the hand Taniguchi held out and spoke to her.

"Of course. Here's to our good match." She responded politely to the shake, slowly shaking the other girl's hand before looking her in the eyes again and smiling somewhat mischievously at her. "I'm going to make it my personal job to keep your mind on the match and etch that cute smile on your face if I ever see you falter again." Gabriel purred.

If anything was to happen after this cute sporting exchange, it would surely be for each to return to their corner as the referee decided to call them to the centre of the ring to face each other, preparing them to officially start the bout!
