During her time at LAW, Clara had her confidence grow exponentially. The two of them had known each other for all of half a minute, if that, even. Yet the tension was thick already. If this were an anime, this would be the part where sparks flew between their eyes. Nicki fixed her with a steady glare, not even blinking once during the staredown they fell into while waiting for the referee to get this thing started. Neither did her opponent.
