The first thing that stands out about Malory is her confidence, she carries herself in a way that seems to almost exude an aura both enticing to some and intimidating to others. When you break through the surface though you find a rather joyful young woman, easy to talk to and generally be around.
Another thing about her is her fiercely competitive nature, she loves a challenge and she loves to make a show of everything around it, which often comes off as cockiness when she teases her opponents but make no mistake, there is rarely ever any malice behind that… though if there is you will not mistake it for anything else for very long

Past
As a daughter of the owner of a prolifically successful investment company, the word that could describe her early years was “Borring”. She was always getting what she wanted and where other kids might develop a sense of entitlement from that, Malory was growing restless. At first, her parents, being traditional people sought to remedy this by enrolling her into activities one would typically consider “lady like” This however did not scratch the itch. A moment of clarity came when they noticed her glued to the screen watching boxing matches, though reluctantly, they decided to let their precious little girl try her hand at the sport.
She instantly fell in love with it, the effort it took, the air of all around her striving to be the best not only they could but as good as possible in general fueling her forward. She admittedly was not showing that much promise initially but she kept at it, trained longer, harder, and more often and though she saw people hit walls in their progress and fall off, she never did.
Her parents were concerned about her at first but as long as it made Malory happy, they would keep supporting her, in turn, Malory strived to fulfil the expectations of her parents in all other regards. It didn’t always work of course and there were times they argued about her academic performance or other matters but in no way that exceeded what any other family might.
Malory took a long time before competing in boxing, partly because her parents were terrified for her but eventually they relented and now having more training than most at the time they started competing, Malory was a force to be reconded with, not unstoppable maybe definitely a scary sight for any amateur to run into. That being the case, the next obvious step was the biggest amateur boxing event in America, the Golden Gloves. The blond cut her way through competition right up to the finals when a counter hook in the fourth round sent her on the canvas even though up to that point she had been leading by points. That was a sobering moment, she to this point started to develop an ego the size of which was starting to become dangerous for her, a loss in a match as important as this was a cup of cold water.
Next year, the girl that defeated her before was not competing and Malory secured a victory along with a contract with IBF the following year. At this time she found herself having to balance many responsibilities as her parents preparing for retirement started to hand many responsibilities over the business to her while at the same time she was competing in professional boxing. Her first fight as a professional did not go at all as she wanted it to, going the distance and ending in a unanimous decision loss. As before, she took her lesson from this, planned her time better to not neglect either her training or business and when the time to fight again came, she crushed it. Ten consecutive matches she won by knockout in the first or second round, earning her rematch that though lasted for five still ended with her on top. Off the back of that, she quickly became the major topic in a discussion about who should be the next champion, something she started campaigning for and finally got. After 8 grueling rounds having her opponent’s corner throw in a towel and making her the next IBF cruiserweight champion.
She wasn’t content to lay on her laurels though, chasing challengers and taking even fighters with very little to her name. It was also a PR tactic, she was hosting and taking part in numerous charity events, taking all sorts of opponents and coming out on top. That was until last September when she came face to face with the woman she thought at Golden Gloves all these years ago, as it turned out, she moved to wrestling and was doing quite well for herself. That also meant, this time, Malory had an advantage in experience and most likely the level of training in her chosen field and she was excited to even the score between them, only to once more be knocked out by the woman.
That made her curious though, how could a wrestler maintain such a high level in boxing and the more questions she asked and the more answers she found, the more intrigued she became with the sport. It reached the point when she started training in it to soon thereafter apply to law which accepted her both for her fame and surprisingly quickly growing wrestling ability.
