L.A.W. - League of Anime Wrestling

On an episode of LAW, an orchestral, triumphant theme sounded on the titantron as Melody Serperior walked down the entrance ramp, mic in her hands, and a serious expression on her face as she did so. Still, she wasn't serious enough to give the lucky front row seated fans a few High-Fives before she rolled into the ring and bowed to the crowd as her music died down:

"Good evening, everybody! Sorry to take a moment of your time from all the awesome action happening tonight, but...this won't take long...", Melody would start, wearing a pleasant smile in her face towards the cheering crowd tonight...

"LAW has been more than stellar in it's growth, and I am more than happy to be part of it's evolution, as it's size, the size of it's fans...", Melody said the last line with a slight wink to the fans, getting a small pop from a portion of the crowd: "...and it's scope get bigger and bigger. In a few years from now, I will be incredibly proud to be able to call myself one of LAW's Originals."

"Case and point of our growth - We Are LAW. Our first ever PPV! And on that particular show, on that particular date...and as my resolution for 2018, I decided for it to be the start of my new mission."

"While I am more than enjoying my time in LAW, it can't be denied that I had more than a few losses so far in my run. Some of them deserved...some of them not so much, with my opponent's resorting to cheap tricks or their friend's to beat me up. That all ends for next year. I am through with my opponents' using cheap tricks to get a one up on me. Enough is enough. In 2018, I will get my retribution on everyone who beat me in such a fashion this year, and they will rue the day they decided to fuck with me..."

"But, that list also includes a particular high-flying...perfect...individual on that list. Yamato, even though you lost your chance to win the LAW Middleweight title, I still want a rematch"

This particular sentence stirred a massive pop from the crowd, as they remembered the 2 women's tremendous battle for the spot in LAW Middleweight Tourney. Melody let out a smile. If the crowd was behind it, there was little chance she wouldn't fight Yamato Nadeshiko again.

"But...before that...there is one particular individual I want to deal with, one that has been a thorn in my side ever since I walked in here...one that continues to humiliate me in every match we fight and one that keeps avoiding paying her dues for that...

"HELENA DUBOIS! COME OUT HERE RIGHT FUCKING NOW!"

Helena had been backstage when Melody had begun her little rant or speech or whatever it was she was doing. Helena paid it no mind until her name was mentioned.

Not one to keep people waiting, Helena sauntered out looking ad smug as ever.

Raising a Mic to her lips the snobby Helena had some words of her own for Melody. "My dear Melody, whatever are you talking about? You lost to me once, and were left laying broken ringside the next time you faced me. I am better than you, more driven than you, and more successful than you. You can rant on all you like and let your jealousy swell my dear but that will never change the simple fact that I am a superior wrestler."

Melody didn't wait for long, as Helena would walk out a moment later, walking down the entrance ramp towards the ring before speaking her piece, that she was the better wrestler, and the 2 previous matches between them proved that...the greenette had a counter-argument, however:

"More successful by spitting shit in people's faces, and beating them up after the match is done? In that, you are superior I'll give you that...", Melody said, walking up to her nemesis, with her index finger pointing right at Helena's face: "But don't for a second think that you, cunt, are a better wrestler than me."

"And if you want me to prove that? I shall. In fact, at as big a stage as I can possibly get. We Are LAW, in Tokyo Dome, I will finally prove that you are nothing but a cheating bastard..."

Helena smiled and clapped as Melody spoke, and was surprised she got such a reaction out of Melody. "Language my uncouth friend, language." Helena chastised from the top of the ramp. She paused for a moment as Melody finished up her rant, and to Helena she appeared as a vengeful dog, a ravenous angry beast spitting words out that she likely did not fully understand.

"I welcome you to try and fail again to defeat me, I am just curious as to how you intend to do so." Helena said before standing with her arms folded across her chest, appearing mostly amused but growing bored as she waited on Melody to respond. Regardless of what Melody threw at her Helena would surely rise to the top against her yet again.

Melody rolled her eyes at Helena criticising her use of language. In fact everything the brunette was saying would grind her gears, one way or another. However, she had her rival's attention for her challenge, and that's all that matter. Smirking, she told Helena:

"Easy enough. You love your cheap tricks? You can have them. You can have your mist, your attacks from behind...but I will be allowed to use my weapon arsenal as well. The ref won't stop us on this."

"Next, I am very peeved at the way our match had ended last time. Even if I managed to roll into the ring in time, I still wouldn't have been satisfied beating you by countout. I want to completely eliminate that factor in our match. In fact, if our fight takes us to the outside the ring, outside backstage area, all the way to the streets of Tokyo, doesn't matter, I want it to continue until you admit defeat"

"Combine those 2 together, and we get our Falls Count Anywhere match at We Are LAW."

"Do you accept?"

If the crowd expected Helena to react fearfully or gasp, they were sorely mistaken. Instead, a broad smile appeared on her face. Helena could now use whatever tactic she so desired without having to do so discreetly? This was indeed a gift.

"I gladly accept. You won't know what hit you." Helena said with a smile as she waved to Melody. "See you there dear."

Helena turned and casually walked away, still smiling to herself as the fans continued to boo her mere presence on the ramp. As she headed backstage she had already begun to gameplan and go over ways in which to finally shut Melody up for good. This was going to be a satisfying showcase for her at the biggest show yet for LAW......

Melody smirked at Helena's cocky attitude. The greenette mentioned it herself, everything was allowed in the match for both of them, and not just her. And considering what she survived through Piranha Deathmatch against Alexia, Helena would have to work twice as much to take her by surprise.

Melody's own tactics on the other hand? The greenette expected that was her key advantage going into the match in the next few weeks as she saw Helena leave for backstage...
