Match Type: Mat Wrestling - Best of 3 falls Victory Condition: First fighter to score 3 falls wins. Falls can be achieved only by Submission or KO
The match takes place on mats instead of a standard wrestling ring
After her recent matches, Geun was surprised at this one, only for a moment though. The type of the match was different than what she expected but when she noticed the name of her opponent she realized what was happening. Senji was the name of that boy Huan took under her wing some time back and she mentioned he was a grappler type, BJJ if she recalled right. if that was the case she probably pushed for them to be put against each other, she either wanted to be a school of hard knocks kind of a moment or she wanted to be sure someone good enough not to hurt him would be his introduction to LAW. She would prefer a more freeflow fight but she was good at grappling, at least in terms of her submission hold she edged out Huan so it might work out as training for the boy as well. AttireEntrance Music
Her entrance would be toned down a little as the fight itself was less showy. Blue light shone behind her as she entered to the sound of her music, waving to the crowd gathered around, Instead of the usual barricade, there were high walls of plexiglass surrounding both the runway as well as the square mat in the middle. Waving to the people around she made her way to the far edge of the mat and awaited Senji's arrival.
Senji's eyes were downcast in thought, mainly focusing on what Huan had told him earlier on by a date of roughly 2 weeks before his debut match. He then was brought to his fortunate present by the snapping of fingers in the room meant for preparation a short time before a match. He pursed his lips, looking up at his sibling.
"I'm sorry. I was...miles away."
The elder one, now at 23, opened his mouth to speak as he finished reapplying the bandages around his middle. The total shots taken were enough to bruise the flesh before you reached the ribs. It'd do him well to take it easy on his core despite its strength retaining the ability to perform. Senji was fairly silent, not knowing what to say exactly. They'd not talked to each other much. The last notable time was where they ended on tense terms around 2 years ago. Hiroyuki seemed happy to see him again, especially since they'd be convening under the same promotion.
"----That's fine. Take it easy on your abdominals. I'd prefer you to rest, luckily you don't need painkillers. I will take care of you if need be but don't do anything harmful to yourself."
Senji took a moment to look him in the eyes and shake his head vertically. He got off his set and set his left arm across his body before curling his right arm to begin limbering it up. After that, he turned his attention to grasping the nearby red-and-black long-sleeved rash guard and pulling it over his head to cover the dressing. Unfortunately, Hiro wouldn't be able to watch since he needed to remain on standby should any other fighters need assistance with their various injuries. That done, Senji quickly went to stride out of the room and into the entrance area. Similar to the last session, Senji's ankles and hands were bare of any coverings. That was to be expected given the nature of the match.
It was a fair amount more familiar to him. It reminded him of No Gi and Gi practice, but more sociable in nature. Though, he found himself preferring the privacy the previously mentioned methods anyway. That done, he now continued to walk past the glass that surrounded himself to the sound of energetic guitars and lengthy chorus' given time to breathe. Not a bad choice.
``Alt. Entrance``
Spoiler
Soon enough, the young fighter found himself opposing Haru in a best of 3 match. The mat was definitely smaller than the usual ring, he was sure of it. The seconds ticked on...as the atmosphere washed over him. Geun Haru. Huan hadn't mentioned her before according to his memory. Still, Senji visibly looked her up and down from head to toe. Fit and athletic, meant for grappling then? Senji needed to await the bell or referee to actually get a read on her style even if strikes weren't allowed.
Geun smiled and approached the center of the mat reaching out her hand to Senji. "Hi, I'll admit, straight grappling isn't my usual choice but let's make it a show for people here." She said before getting ready to lock up with him as soon as the bell rang.
Senji found Haru approaching him in the next few seconds. That was, only to stick out her hand? She was a fair player, presumably. He too stuck his hand out, going to clasp his soft hand into hers. However, the many scars and callouses built up by experience and getting the hell beat out of you were not there. That spoke to his youthfulness, despite the baggage he carried mentally. No matter, his issues weren't of Haru's concern. All he needed to do was give her good grappling match.
"Likewise.---I hope you'll enjoy this.", He concluded with a hint of excitement as opposed to his usual room-level volume. That done, Senji went to pull his hand away if she did and went into a crouching stance. His hands were hovering in front of his chest. However, the palms were open as opposed to his fists since he couldn't "punch" Haru.
BANG
Then...the bell rang.
Senji tensed up by reflex, his eyes going to scan her for a flicker of movement so he could react in time. It seemed as though he was giving Huan's friend the first move if she wanted to take the offer.
Geun got in a matching stance, shifting on the mat and letting the tension build for a moment before she made her first move. At first, it looked like she was going to wrap herself around his midsection as she went low but soon in a weirdly graceful motion she pushed from the mat, moving her whole body up and to the side of Senji. Placing a crock of her elbow against his throat and pushing to get him down to the mat. From there she would go to try and mount him and take control of his arms.
This action caught Senji unawares. It struck him as unorthodox, even while he began to move along with her. Senji then found her creeping up his side only to push her elbow against his throat. This, naturally, made him get pushed onto his back. It sunk just slightly into the mat. However, Senji wasn't done yet. When she came on him in the form of a mount, Senji quickly went to grasp her left shoulder and then thrust his hips up to drive his waist into her lower body.
This was meant to perform a proper hip bump. If it managed to work on Haru, then he'd go to keep his right knee bent and use it to push off the ground. This would end up pushing Haru off to his left and rolling him over to put him in the top position. This move was mainly meant to get Geun out of mount and quickly counter the control of his arms presuming the escape went smoothly for Senji.
As soon as Senji trusted his hips, Geun would work her legs around him, and as they turned she would inch herself higher up his body while taking hold of his right wrist and continuing their movement she would shift to his left. Eventually, she would unwrap her left leg and move to drape it over his neck before locking both her legs back together to push him down for an warlock.
["I can deal with this--"], Senji inwardly thought to himself. He thought that he'd be fine so long as he stuck to the escapes. He desired to keep his arm from being fully straightened out. In support of this movement, Senji's left arm snapped over and went between her legs as his back smacked into the floor again. Despite the landing, it didn't inconvenience him due to it not packing as much power behind it since it was just a transition.
To contribute to the escape, Senji went to interlock his two hands in a palm-in-palm grip. That would tightly interweave the fingers in order to keep Geun from extending it even if her arms were around Huan's strength level or perhaps even more. The legs remained draped across his chest and face though. Senji did try to turn towards Geru, leaning on his right since she was trying to armbar his right arm.

Seeing his turn, Geun would snap straight into a classic armbar position and when she noticed him interlocking his fingers she moved her foot to the crook of his elbow and pushed to force them apart while still pulling on his other arm. If she were successful in that and her armbar locked in properly she would then sift her one hand to twist his wrist as well to apply pressure on both joints.
Senji could feel his grip slipping. Onto the next stage then, he foot was lodged into his elbow as stated, however Senji went to raise his feet and kick down while going to raise his body. This would cause Senji to go up and boost above her by sitting up straight. The intention here was to prevent her foot from breaking his grip and return to Geun's guard.
Senji then pushed to set himself on one knee so that he could focus on passing guard and keeping her control over his arm restrained.
