Bearhug (with theatrics): William will scream “GIVE ME A HUG!” before hugging his opponent tightly and thrashing them around until they either submit or pass out.

Background:

William got hooked into professional wrestling from a very young age and would maintain a strict exercise routine in order to keep his strength up building muscle very slowly throughout his younger years. He was a frequent member of his middle school’s and high school’s weightlifting team as well as trying out football in college. William was complimented for his strength and durable size which eventually led him to trying out for state amateur wrestling tournaments. He was a force to be reckoned with, but would get a ban from such events after accidentally injuring an opponent’s right leg badly. William would decide to go to wrestling school in order to work more safely and officially start his career off in the sport.

William started working local indies and even made it big in America winning multiple tag team titles. He always worked better with other heavyweights and high-flyers in tag teams seeing his size and structure helped out tremendously. Despite being a big name in America, William hardly went outside the nation to go to other countries. His reasons are that he doesn’t want to be too far away from family and he liked working shows more with his best friends. William was a notable member of The Bloodline, a group led by fellow member Jonathan Steele.

William has become more open to trying international shows which is where he has come to LAW. He cited this is a personal decision seeing as he always wanted to visit Japan and wants to learn about their culture more. LAW signed him being impressed with his size and wanted to see him against some of their heavyweights to see how he would match up. William says he also would like to work shows in Mexico and Europe if given the chance in the near future.

Personality:

When it comes to William in the ring, he’s all business and mainly focuses on winning the match while having fun. Outside though, he lets out his more random side a lot of the time. First off, William is a creative memer and will often make social media accounts sharing hilarious memes he finds off the Internet. Secondly, he makes a lot of pop culture references that hardly anyone understands or knows about. Third, William will act random and a little bit stupid to entertain the crowd a little bit which does help him get under the skin of heels he goes up against.

Wrestling Skills:

William mainly focuses on a powerhouse and old school move set going brawn over brains for his matches. He likes throwing his opponents around and slamming them down showing off his peak strength. Despite being mostly serious in his matches, he does have a tendency to act comedic with his opponents and tries to throw them off focus with his antics. William also shouts random things before completing certain moves like “GIVE ME A HUG!” when he commences a Bearhug submission or “GODZILLA!” before hitting a Running Powerslam.

He seemingly has a few notable weaknesses like submission holds that can keep him grounded and opponents that work over his legs in order to keep his structure advantage down. Overall, William can dish out a lot of pain and is stronger than most where he is from.
