As a large looming figure blocked the doorway. "... Oh! Um, like I'm so sorry Mr. Pronin. You like startled me."
"No need to apologize Ms. Taylor, it happens. Do you have what I've asked for?"
"Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah." Janice confirmed. As she scurried forward and handed the behemoth of a man her bottle of aspirin. "Thank you Ms. Taylor. You've been very helpful."
"Oh, Just doing the job."
"No. A janitor does his job. You… You do it with. How you say... Gusto. Yes, gusto." Nikolai complemented. As he swallowed two pills and chased it down with a shot of water that almost emptied the bottle that Janice had handed him. "So do you like, um, need me to go with you? Or something."
"No, No that's quite all right. I can take it from here. Besides, we wouldn't want people thinking you're some sort of villain. Hehehe…" Nikolai laughed loudly. As he turned to leave and head for the LAW ring.
Janice
Nikolai
As Nikolai entered the ring and took a microphone from the waiting Referee. Though he wouldn't immediately start speaking and instead would slowly walk in a circle. While he marveled at how little things had changed since the last time he had been in the ring.
"10 years and this is how I'm received. Ladies and gentlemen of LAW you've made things so... much... worse. Had you given me any sort of reaction. We could have started fresh, see where the road could have taken us but, now", He shrugged, "... I'm going to need to break a few eggs. You've clearly forgotten me."
"You've forgotten how I've injured Dan Anderberg's neck… How I snapped the arms of Andrew Mercal… How I broke the back of Leslie Davachi… How I shattered the knee of The Red Dragon. And the countless concussions I've given others… So now.... because of you. I can't guarantee the safety of my peers. Their blood will be on your hands and as you hear their screams from this ring. I want you to remember that it was you that forced me to start anew."
Nikolai finished as he handed the microphone back to the Referee and listened while thousands of fans booed in unison. Before he would finally slip out of the ring and exit the arena.
