Nationality: USA
Alignment: Heel
Fighting style: Vicious all-rounder
Finisher(s):
Hell Strike: Skylar grabs her opponent in a front face lock and hooks their thigh before lifting them up upside down, then then falls backward, driving them skull first into the ground.
Hell Knot: With an opponent on their back, Skylar grabs their legs, bending one of them and placing the shin behind the knee of the other, holding the second leg beneath her armpit. She then slips her arm through the opening between their legs, placing her hand on their thigh before turning them over and standing above their back, brutally stretching their body in a cloverleaf hold.
Preferred matches: Standard, hardcore, mud matches, hentai, humiliation.
Likes: Vinyl music, hot chocolate, money, food.
Dislikes: Coffee, bugs, the wilderness, run down places
Personality: Skylar can be charismatic and fun to talk to, but she can also be, to put it bluntly, a fucking asshole. Her sense of humor is crass and juvenile, and she's snarky, arrogant, and spiteful. She's let the bitterness she feels about her past turn her into a villain, a sadist who loves using violence and fear to control the people around her and is more than willing to cheat and hurt people to get what she wants. She's a deeply unstable and violent person who lashes out viciously. She does feel guilt for the things she does and the person she is, but she sees herself as incapable of being better, so she deeply represses any remorse she feels and fully indulges in her anger and greed, convincing herself and everyone else that she's a pitiless monster. She'll do whatever terrible thing it takes to achieve her goals and climb higher and higher and higher in the world, because she thinks if she climbs high enough, she'll finally feel good about her life, but nothing will ever be enough. She's looking for happiness in the wrong place. Her most redeeming quality, though, is her loyalty. She's deeply affectionate and attached to those she cares for, and she'll do anything for them.
History: Born to a penniless single mother in Riverway, Iowa, Skylar Jones grew up poor in a city infested with crime and gang violence. Her mother had to work every hour she could to support her, leaving her to spend her days alone in the dirty little house they rented. She woke up in the morning, and had whatever cheap food was in the house for breakfast. She watched the few cartoons they had on DVD over and over again, played the old gameboy her mother had gotten her for her birthday, and drew pictures on her bedroom wall. And when there was yelling, and fighting, and shooting outside, she hid in her closet. Late at night, when she was asleep, her mother would come home in the dirty red dress she wore for work and climb into her bed, and she would hold her tightly. From a young age, she was a strange and troubled little girl. She rarely spoke, and she was always anxious and fidgety. These behaviors attracted negative attention from other kids at school, and she started being bullied. The boys spat on and threw dirt at her, and the girls hit her, and pulled her hair, and called her names. She had one friend though, another quiet, reserved, and strange girl named Kyra Alvarez. Bonding with Kyra, Skylar learned to use humor to cope with the things that happened in her life, but she remained meek and quiet in the face of her torment.
As she got older, Skylar grew to understand more about the city she lived in. She knew the names of the different gangs that lorded over the city, how they dressed, and how to avoid them. She knew to give muggers whatever they wanted so that she didn't get hurt, to keep her head down when gangsters talked, to avoid certain parts of town, where to duck and cover when people started shooting at each other. The years passed by, and the bullying, the violence, the fear, the loneliness and isolation, all slowly drove her mad, until one day, when she was 16 years old, a girl at her high school walked by and burned her arm with a cigarette, and Skylar tackled her to the ground, pinned her down, and strangled her. As she squeezed that girl's neck, forcing the air from her throat and watching her face change color while she squirmed helplessly, abject terror in her eyes, Skylar felt strong for the first time in her life. She was pulled away by a police officer, and promptly expelled by her school. Enrolling her in another school wasn't an option for her mother, and not wanting to be a burden, Skylar started looking for a job. She got hired at several places, but could never keep a job. Something always went wrong. She might've broke down crying, or got into trouble for her eccentric personality, or lost her temper. As she kept trying and failing, Skylar felt hopeless. She felt that she would never be able to manage for herself in this world, that she was too weird, too dumb, too inept. One night, she was staying over at Kyra's house, and on TV, they found a pro wrestling show. Skylar watched the matches, the way the women beat and battered each other, fighting hard to win, and she was enthralled. She started to watch all the wrestling she could get her hands on, and she started to follow the careers of the more prominent women in the sport, names like Lillian Byrne, Alaina Sanders, and Sakura Hagiwara. She knew that this was exactly what she wanted to do, something she could do, one thing she might actually be good at. She asked her mother for just enough money for the cheapest wrestling school in town, and paid her back for it with the money she made from wrestling in the local minor leagues.
Though her training was mediocre, Skylar took well to learning wrestling moves and techniques, and with practice, executed them fairly well in the ring. She didn't win any of her early matches, but her aggression and determination got the attention of Amanda Sterling, an acclaimed wrestling veteran who was local to Iowa. Seeing Skylar's potential, she took the girl under her wing and put her through far more thorough training, teaching her a vast arsenal of strikes, slams, and holds, and a philosophy of fighting as viciously as possible, winning the match no matter what she had to do to her opponent. With Amanda's teachings, Skylar quickly improved. For a rookie, her technical skill and wrestling prowess was incredibly advanced, and she started to be praised as a prodigy. As she won match after match, tournament after tournament, her pride and ambition grew. Up till now, the world had been horrible to her, but through wrestling, she had a way to climb higher, to be bigger than the bullies who tormented her, bigger than the thugs and gangsters that infested the city she grew up in. She wanted to be rich, to be acclaimed, to be recognized as the best wrestler to ever live, and there was nothing she wouldn't do to achieve her goals. She brutalized and tortured her opponents, cheated to win matches, threatened promoters to get opportunities. Consumed with bitterness, pride, and greed, she climbed to the big leagues, determined to become a legend.
Fun facts:
-She's a surprisingly talented singer
-She's a huge fan of Pokemon, however due to only growing up with an old copy of Pokemon Blue and a DVD of the original series, she's a bit of a genwunner. Her favorite Pokemon is Sandshrew.
