A Rosie By Any Other Name

Following her labored attempt to force cooperation on her side in the lightweight war, Rosie Soto had been in something of a slump. She had spent her time in LAW owned gyms, conning and cheating her way into victories in spar after spar, honing her craft. Soto had one objective and one objective only whenever she stepped into a ring: win. Those wins vindicated her. Made her feel whole. And with a title in striking range, no one would be able to deny the legitimacy and the in-ring intelligence of Rosie Soto. It was all just a matter of finding the dang thing. Soto arrived at LAW HQ with a plan in mind. She scoped the entrance out from across the street. Hordes of wrestlers practically gathered trying to get in through the entrance. Some took the basement entrance. The clear reinforced glass on the first floor that made up the walls allowed the petite wrestler to observe that most competitors in the hunt raced to the elevators. Some took the stairs.

Rosie would circle the block on foot to get a lay of the land. Quietly and stealthily, she'd observe everyone that goes in and out of LAW HQ.

"Hmmmm....staffing is limited today so that workers don't get in the way of the title hunt. No secretaries are entering the building. No accountants, clerical workers, even the janitors seem to be posting up outside, waiting until after the hunt to enter....think Rosie, think...." She murmured to herself as she furrowed her brow. Soto rounded the corner. Instantly she grabbed the woman in front of her, seizing her by the neck and mouth to pull her back around the corner! Rosie applied a Sleeper Hold. She continued to cover the woman's mouth to stifle any cries for help. Rosie would knock the petite lady out, cranking the hold a good two or three times after she stopped moving to be sure she was out. The woman was a caterer/server worker. No matter how many LAW staff persons had the day off or a half-day off, people had to eat. There were workers offering food to staff outside the building. But a small portion of them was designated to serve inside.

No one knew how long the hunt would take. There was much ground to cover. Rosie would strip this woman and don her clothes, wearing them over her own wrestling gear.

"With a disguise, I should be able to roam freely. The other wrestlers won't see me as a threat. And if I don't get the belt first, I can always jump whichever unfortunate girl does if she crossed my path." Soto said to herself as she collected the woman's utensils and followed the troupe of caterers into the side entrance of the building. With this, Rosie's hunt for the Lawless Championship began. And in the event, she managed to give herself an advantage that would hopefully act as her element of surprise!
