Back Alley Brawl
Winner decided via best 2 out of 3 KO's

Candice Edison stood waiting for her match to begin, making some last minute adjustments to her outfit same as she did every other match. Unlike every other match she wasn't getting ready in the gorilla position or in her locker, but outside a dusty alleyway where she was going to face her opponent in a back alley brawl. It was an unusual location for a LAW match, but far from an unwelcome one; there were no stupid referees to stop her from going all out, nor where there any audience members to heckle her, it was just her and her opponent. Speaking of her opponent Candice knew her face and her name and didn't care enough to look up anything else; Blake Vanderbilt. Blake was pretty, but that wasn't going to stop Candice from bashing her face in. As far as the heel was concerned this girl was of no threat to her.

Having arrived first Candice would wait for her opponent to arrive. Though this was technically still a LAW match Candice would have felt silly wearing her wrestling attire out here in the cold; instead she was wearing a white top under a leather jacket, a pair of loose fitting jeans that wouldn't restrict her movements and a pair of sporty trainers. Most importantly she was wearing a mean looking snarl and a fierce gaze that had been known to make grown men flee in terror.

Candice would tap her feet impatiently as she waited for Blake to show up, a disgruntled look on her face. She didn't like being made to wait, and she would make sure that Blake pays for every moment she made her wait in pain.

It had appeared that management was taking her request to be away from the ring a bit too literal. She wasn't even in the stadium this time but in some alleyway expected to just wrestle an opponent. Before this might have been okay but now, it felt like management was sending her mixed signals about being here. You either play their game or you are guaranteed the short straw. Then again judging from her opponent, this was the type of match Candice preferred. Thus earning a win here would go a long way in changing some of the minds of management assuming there was a conspiracy against her at all. Also, Blake preferred the feeling of victory at a supposed disadvantage, she was supposed to be pretty good at it but she's learned a bit about the professional league. This might be enough for her to draw a line in the sand here and now.

Blake showed up in her standard attire. She incorrectly believed that even though this was still an official LAW match, that she had to maintain her character. Yet when she arrived, black bow and all, she was greeted with a more casual looking opponent. Now normally, Blake wouldn't have known what her opponent's ring attire was until the match but she already knew what to expect from Candice in order to give her the edge and this was not the costume she usually wore.

It was a little frustrating considering the chill Blake was feeling for having her belly and hips exposed to the elements like that. Yet she didn't betray a hint of that here and approached with a sense of boredom.

"Are you ready because let's just get this over with so I can leave." She'd say airily like there was a yawn coming. She stretched out, arms reaching up like a cat getting up from a nap.

Just a few minutes after Candice's own arrival Blake would appear, hardly a long time to have to wait for something. Most people wouldn't be bothered by such a thing. Candice was not most people, and would glare at the nonchalant fighter as if she had just spat on Candice's mother "About fucking time you showed up" she growled, stepping forward and glaring down at the girl. She made good use of her 4 inch height difference over the dark haired girl to tower over her and stare down at her "I was born ready, but don't think you're leaving on your own two feet!"

That would be the only warning Blake got before Candice would attempt to swing her fist in a deadly arc aimed at her stomach, hoping to take her by surprise and stun her. This was a brawl, and in a brawl you don't wait for any bell to ring!
