Interest Check: The Great British Face-Off

Hey folks! Looking to do something different for a Loser’s Championship storyline: the Great British Face-Off (possible alt title: “Strictly Come Grappling”). This is kind of a weird concept, so hear me out, because I want to involve as many folks as possibl if they’re interested. Anyone that watched TNA during Awesome Kong’s amazing run there might remember her “open challenge” gimmick. Having crushed the regular roster members, Kong would challenge a female member of the audience (an indie wrestler plant) to a title match, then generally squash the poor girls until one finally got the shocking win. This is similar, but inverted: the title holder is desperate enough that she wants to fight total newbies, to try and prove she’s capable of a win!
Also, even for those that aren't interested per se, let me know what you think. Logistics problems? Concept issues? Anything unclear? Let me know. Also, I'm posting this well in advance of actually doing it, because I want to know if anyone is actually interested. Just let me know if you think this is something you might want to be involved in. But, yeah, explanations:
The Challenge
Since ‘winning’ the Loser’s Championship, Holly Matheson knows what people have been saying about her. That she’s a wimp, she’s soft, she’s nothing but eye candy, she’s not a real wrestler. Or, more gallingly, that literally anyone can beat her in the ring!
To test that theory, Holly is going to start issuing the Great British Face-Off. Holly will come down to the ring on various episodes of LAW and issue an open challenge to literally anyone that thinks they can defeat her in the ring. Ranging from marginal members of the roster to the ringside crew to fans sitting in the audience, Holly will take on all comers (provided non-trained competitors sign a waiver form, of course), in a quest to prove that not literally anyone can defeat her!
Also, if Holly were to drop the Loser's Championship between any of these bouts, the bouts that started before then would still be cannon, but the Face-Off would most likely end there. Holly has nothing left to prove, at that point.
For Those Interested
If you think you’d want to play one of these challengers, just contact me via PM. Give me an idea for a character, or even just a pic, and we’ll work something out. If you’ve ever had a half-formed idea for a character you’d want to use but didn’t think would work as a full timer? Throw her in! A joke character or one-off? Let’s see her! If you think it’d be fun to step into the role of an enthusiastic fan that gets an unexpected chance to live his dream? Let’s do that! Just some creep that hangs around the arena and wants to get his grimy mitts on the body of a real-live female wrestler? Heck, why not! They character would get an intro interview, then a chance to throw down with the British Bombshell.
All outside challengers sign an IC waiver to clear LAW of any liability for injury (spoiler: not likely), and they step into the ring. What you do with the character beyond that is totally up to you, of course. I would love to see one or two of these competitors become full-time characters, of course, but that’s up to you guys. If nothing else, however, they get to say they beat a ‘real’ wrestler, and Holly certainly won’t be forgetting them any time soon!
